imagine your caregiver f/o helping give you a bath!

you're worn out and just want to feel tiny, and your caregiver knows this. so they draw you a warm bath, and they help you clean up, washing you with all your favorite soaps/hair products, assisting you with drying off, and putting on lotion before dressing in your jammies. maybe they even carry you to bed and tuck you in, making sure you know you're loved and cared for!

for self shippers that have painful tics or stims, your f/os would be so supportive of you. if it's a harmful stim that you need to be directed away from, then they are always more than happy to step in and gently nudge you in a different direction to keep you safe. if it's a tic or something you can't or shouldn't be directed away from, then they'll be there for you in the aftermath. your stims and your tics are not a burden, they do not make you lesser, and your f/os do not see you differently because of them. all they care about is if you're happy and safe, and they'll do whatever they can to make sure you are.

Ermm they're fictional? Ermm I've liked them since I was 11? They've essentially grown up in my head? Because I'm grown up? They're fictional? You can't abuse a fictional character because they're literally a *drawing* in a book or *pixels* on a screen, *they're not real!*

I wouldn't be a freak about them, for a multitude of reasons, both obvious and personal. I don't even like real people fiction because it makes me uncomfortable, but I don't harass people over it. Ignore & block.

Just because I don't like the same character as you, or ships as you, doesn't give me a reason to harass you. I may roll my eyes and hate *in private* but telling someone to kts over something fictional is insane. Everyone deserves a safe space, especially the people who use it to cope with actual, real issues, *and* the people who just like to because they just do. It's not a crime, and saying suggestive art of a *fictional character* is "Cheese Pizza" is incredibly insensitive to victims, and you're wasting people's time trying to "bring them to justice"

what about your f/o rambling about their interests to you ? Would you sit patiently and take in all the information , asking questions just to see their eyes light up because they get to tell you more about their (second) favorite thing ? Would you buy them gifts revolving around their interests , take them to places involving their interests , or learn about it yourself so you can both talk about it together ?
