What is PCOD?
PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) is a medical condition in which the woman’s ovaries produce a large number of immature or partially mature eggs, which develop into cysts in the ovaries over time. PCOD can be managed through dietary and lifestyle changes.
Only a few researchers participated in the study of the prevalence of Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in various regions of India. According to the scant data available, PCOS prevalence in India ranges from 3.7 percent to 22.5 percent. It is difficult to define the prevalence of PCOS in India due to limited data and different regions.
What are the common symptoms and signs of PCOD?
Some women notice symptoms around the time of their first period, while others do not notice until they have gained a lot of weight or are having difficulty getting pregnant.
The following are the most common signs and symptoms of PCOD in females:

How a woman entrepreneur started an aviation company with a ₹ 150 crore turnover using the Uber model
You join the ranks of the high flyers when you dare to dream big. Kanika Tekriwal's real-life story best illustrates this point. Kanika, a 24-year-old girl who had just survived cancer, entered the Indian aviation industry without owning a single aircraft nine years ago.
She planned to launch a charter aircraft business similar to Ola and Uber.
Kanika Tekriwal founded Jetsetgo in 2012 as an aircraft aggregator.
"I spent ₹5600 to develop an app for booking chartered flights." "For the first two years, I relied on client advances and vendor credit to run the business," says Kanika, founder of Delhi-based Jetsetgo Aviation Services Private Limited.
"I also provided consulting and advised people on the purchase of airplanes based on their needs." Sudheer Perla, a chartered accountant and Oxford management graduate, became a co-founder of the company in 2014.
Jetsetgo is now a ₹150 crore turnover company with 200 employees and offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The company purchased its own fleet of eight aircraft last year.
"In 2020-21, we handled 1 lakh passengers and flew 6000 flights." Our clients are mostly corporations, celebrities, politicians, and important people. "We offer a variety of charter flights, ranging from a six-seater to an 18-seater plane," Kanika says.
"Our busiest routes are Delhi-Mumbai, Mumbai-Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-Delhi." Approximately 5% of our flights are used for medical emergencies."
Despite the overall negative impact of the pandemic on the economy, the company has grown. "We did not lay off any employees or reduce their pay during the COVID lockdown."

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a centuries-old Indian medical practice that specializes in treating illness using natural remedies. The ayurvedic theory and practices are popular in India, with over 80% of the population using them.
The universe is made up of five elements according to Ayurveda: air, water, space, ether, and fire. These elements are known as the "Pancha Mahabhoota" in Ayurveda. The human body is composed of seven tissues, fluids, fat, connective tissue, blood, bones, and marrow.
Ayurveda practitioners use the five senses to diagnose. Ayurveda classifies the various constitutions into Tridoshas -
1.     The Vata dosha is dominated by the elements of air and space. 2.     Pitta dosha is characterized by the dominance of the fire element. 3.     The soil and water components predominate in the Kapha dosha.
The "dosha" (Pancha doshas) play a big role in one's physical appearance, dietary choices, digestion, and mental and emotional temperament.
How it got noticed and its evolution.
Throughout the centuries, Ayurvedic remedies have changed and evolved to suit the needs of patients. Herbal medicines, specific diets, meditation, yoga, massage, laxatives, enemas, and medical oils are examples of types of therapies that people use to treat their health problems.
Herbal compounds, minerals, and metals are commonly used in Indian medicine, known as Rasashastra.
Ayurveda utilizes the "five karmas" technique. Pancha karma therapy employs a variety of techniques to help the body rejuvenate, cleanse, and extend its life. The Pancha karma is made up of five actions that are used to cleanse the body. ·        SNEHAN ·        SHIRODHARA ·        SWEDHANA ·        BASTI ·        ABHYANGA ·        VIRECHAN ·        VAMAN
Ayurveda not only focuses on the treatment of diseases but also emphasizes the necessity of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and behavior. It aids us in fighting illnesses while preserving our original bodies, implying that ayurvedic medicine does not affect our bodies in any way.
The importance of Ayurveda is spreading all over the world. Almost everyone in the world is preferring traditional medications rather than allopathic medications.
An Ayurvedic medical practice that heals the body while leaving the rest of the body undisturbed, tries to improve the human lifestyle, relaxes the mind, and calms the spirit is urgently needed.
As a result, Ayurveda is primarily practiced in the Western world. Westerners are increasingly adopting and learning the practices of this ancient healing system because it not only treats diseases but also helps to maintain the body's natural equilibrium.
