Sweater + skirt for the dead of summer anyone?

I really like this 4t2 Incheon Arrivals mesh conversion by @applewatersugar! I fixed a few seams and hard lines on the mesh, but wanted to do more with it.

So...because I love multi shoe meshes (even though they are a complete pain in the ass to make): this mesh now has recolors featuring these H&M boots from afbodydaisydressboots, and @pforestsims's Laced Suede Shoes!

comes in all 12 11?* original colors from the original converstion, with the H&M boots matching the original boot colors as closely as possible. Each original recolor has both a boot and a shoe option.

And in 8 new recolors by me! All but two of them (Marigold and Heather) have both a boot and a shoe option.

psd included! There's lots of individual folders and it's all clearly labeled.

Texture sources are: FashionTwist, random fabrics, AAS, Cruella56

THEY'RE HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Finally after so many hours of work they're here for download, there are some examples of the eyelashes moving with the eyes so you guys can get an idea of how they will look in your game. They're available from CF-EF under the GLASSES CATEGORY and they are all available in a black and brown swatch because us fair girlies are always left out, and I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to @applewatersugar for their help with morphs I couldn't have done it without them and @northernsiberiawinds for the amazing eyelashes for me to be able to convert. I know I'm biased but I feel that these are a MUST HAVE for sims 4 to 2 players and acc all sims 2 players in general because they're so stinking cute. Anyways previews under the cut and that's it ig 🥰🥰

Hi! Hope you're doing well 🙂 I recently read your tutorial on how to make beards compatible with expressions and sliders. Pretty informative! However, I'm not sure I understand what part explains how to make meshes compatible with sliders specifically?

I am working on a 4t2 hair conversion right now, and would like to make the areas near the top (front and sides) of the face (not head) move with sliders (mainly ones that control forehead and head width). The "cheekpuff" morphs (at max. values) do clip with the mesh very slightly, but not enough that it would make a difference if I made a morph (although I probably will make one), so my issue is clipping involved with sliders.

Hence why I'm wondering if I may have missed a critical component to your tutorial? (although it explains things quite thoroughly, so I somehow doubt that. I'm probably not seeing something obvious)

The thing is with the head sliders is that they aren't "flagged" on everything other than accessories and beards, as far as I experienced. I've tried on both hair (to fit edges) and clothing (for posible neck-end sliders) and neither worked for me. They either didn't work with the head sliders or just straight up didn't load in.

For accessories though, there's an extra work to do in the 3IDR resource to ensure that it only references one resource node and shape for it to make it work with face sliders.

Face animations work with anything that's on a sim, as long as the animation is using that specific (and correctly named) face morph.

hi! I hope you made it through your exam! I was wondering, do you know where I could find a "ms3d expot/import pluging for blender 2.79 or even regular recent blender 4.1+? I want to makemy own sims 2 animation an d4ts2 animation so bad for a sims2 series :') it my pluggins are broken...

If you mean my CBB bodymesh, yes! I've made 4 custom skintones that uses the CBB-NN mesh. I'm still missing 2 (alien, zombie), because I keep forgetting to make those. 😭 I should be able to upload these in the near future.

hello, i've been having problems with your lashes for awhile the cas version. this happenes from time to time and i don't know what's the cause of it. when the sim already have the lashes equiped and i enter gussy up to change their appearence this happenes. when i open the household after doing my rounds its back to normal.

I have not seen this issue before! Can you please share all the mods you're using, related to face and appearence changing? I've heard that some face template mods could mess with LODs. Also, have you tried deleting the cache files? Especially the "Accessory.cache" file. This one could cause some issues (it did with me, many times lol).

Sooo, recently I've found a way to fix (in my opinion) "unfinished", alpha custom content made for TS4. First I tried to remodel a high-poly shirt and copy the UV map from the original to the low-poly one. With this method I was able to decrease the polycount from 19k to 1,8k in 2-3 hours.

After that I tried to figure out a faster method and found an open source auto remesher addon/plugin for Blender which cut the work time in half, 1 hour! Tried this plugin out with another shirt and I was able to cut down ~8k polies AND keep the quality that the original shirt had!

Then another one!

I honestly don't know what to say. I am convinced now that most TS4 CC creators only make their work to fill their pockets and wallets. I know they say that they do this out of a hobby, but PLEASE, if you put your work behind a paywall, at least make sure it's optimized.
