"Checkmate"
Doflamingo x Reader
Tags: Enemies to Lovers
a/n: Lowkey love this one. Should I make a part 2?
------------
Your cover was blown.
You weren’t sure how. You had been careful. Never left a trail, never got too close, never let your mask slip. And yet, here you were.
Pinned against the cold marble walls of Doflamingo’s throne room, his gloved hand wrapped around your throat.
“Well, well, well” he drawled, voice dripping with amusement. His sunglasses hid his eyes, but you could feel them scanning you. “I should’ve known the little mouse sneaking in my palace were you.”
You swallowed, keeping your expression neutral. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
His fingers twitched against your skin. Not tight enough to choke, but enough to remind you who was in control. “Don’t play dumb. I do hate being lied to.”
A flick of his wrist, and his strings moved. You barely dodged in time as razor-sharp threads sliced into the wall behind you.
You landed in a crouch, heart hammering. “What, no monologue about betrayal?”
Doflamingo chuckled, slow and mocking. “Oh, I’m not angry.” He tilted his head, watching you. “I should be. But honestly? I’m impressed.”
You frowned. “...what?”
He stepped closer, hands slipping into his coat pockets. “Infiltrating my network? Playing me like a fool? I underestimated you.” He smirked. “It won’t happen again.”
Your fingers twitched toward your hidden blade, but his strings were faster. Before you could blink, they coiled around your wrist, yanking you forward.
Straight into his chest.
You barely had time to react before his lips brushed against your ear, voice dark and teasing.
“Now, tell me…” His breath was warm. “What should I do with you?”
Your pulse spiked, but you forced a smirk. “Let me go?”
Doflamingo laughed—a low, dangerous sound. “Tempting.” His fingers trailed down your arm, slow and deliberate. “But you’re far too interesting to kill.”
You clenched your jaw. “So what, you’ll keep me as a prisoner?”
He leaned back just enough to look at you, lips curving in a wicked grin. “No, no, You’ll work for me now.”
You stiffened. “Like hell I will.”
His grip tightened, strings coiling around your throat. Not choking but just a reminder. “Oh, but you will.” His voice dropped. “Because if you don’t, I’ll have no choice but to break my new favorite toy.”
Your breath caught.
Checkmate.
"So? Do you surrender?"

"Ghost of the Past"
Law x Reader
tags: heavy angst, major chracter death, Wano AU
a/n: I need more ideas:_)
-----------
The sound of crackling flames and creaking wood filled the air as Trafalgar Law stood face-to-face with Black Maria. His sword was gripped tightly in his hand, his breathing heavy, blood dripping from wounds. The battle had been dragging on, and he was getting tired.
And then, he heard it.
"Law…?"
His breath hitched.
That voice.. it couldn’t be.
He turned sharply, his heart hammering against his ribs.
There you were.
Standing in the middle of the burning battlefield, looking just as he remembered, soft eyes, a familiar tilt to your lips, your presence so real it made his knees weak.
But it was impossible.
Because you were dead.
"Y/N-ya…" His voice wavered, his grip on Kikoku loosening.
You stepped closer, eyes shimmering with something unreadable. "Why did you leave me behind?"
Law’s breath came short. "I—I didn’t—"
Memories crashed into him like waves.
------------
Years Ago
You had always been by his side, ever since he was a boy lost in grief.
You were the one who pulled him out of his darkness, who teased him when he was being too serious, who made life feel less cruel.
And somewhere along the way, he had fallen in love with you.
But he never said anything.
Instead, he buried it, watching from a distance as you smiled, laughed, lived.
He told himself it didn’t matter. That he had more important things to focus on.
Until the day you died.
Killed right in front of him.
He had tried—god, he had tried—to save you. But for all his medical skills, for all his intelligence, he had been too late.
And now, years later, he was still carrying your ghost.
-----------
Present
"Law…" Your voice was so gentle, so full of sadness. "You still haven't moved on, have you?"
His hands trembled. "I never got to tell you…"
You smiled softly. "Tell me now."
He hesitated. Then, finally, "I..loved you."
The words broke something inside him, years of grief spilling out all at once. His chest ached as he stepped forward, arms wrapping around you, pulling you close.
"I still do…" he whispered against your hair.
And then, sharp pain.
A blade plunged deep into his back.
His breath hitched, blood dripping from his lips. His body stiffened as your form twisted into something cruel, Black Maria’s laughter echoing in the distance.
"Poor little surgeon," she cooed. "Still clinging to the past."
Law gasped, falling to his knees, his grip on you weakening. The illusion faded, and he was left alone, again.
As the world around him dimmed, a single tear rolled down his cheek.
"Y/N…"
And then, darkness.

Hi idk if you wrote about this or not i just found about ur account can you write about ace being jealous?
"Burning with Jealousy"
Ace x reader
tags: jealous ace, fluff
a/n: FIRST REQUEST?! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I HAD SO MUCH FUN WRITING THIS><
--------------
The flames flickered dangerously around Ace’s fingers as he stood across the bar, arms crossed, jaw tight. His usual easygoing grin was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was staring, glaring, at the scene in front of him.
You. Laughing. With Marco.
Ace stood frozen at the edge of the deck, fists clenched so tightly his nails bit into his palms. Across from him, you stood beside Marco, your laughter ringing through the air, your hand resting on his arm, eyes shining with amusement. The way you looked at him, smiling, leaning just a little too close. Sent a sharp, ugly burn straight through Ace’s chest.
Marco laughed—really laughed—at something you said, and Ace saw red.
And then you touched Marco’s arm.
Ace was moving before he could think.
In a flash, he was behind you, an arm slinging around your shoulders as he pulled you firmly against his chest. You yelped, blinking up at him in surprise.
"Ace?"
"Hey, Y/N," he drawled, forcing a grin, though the slight edge in his voice was unmistakable. "Didn’t see you here. You looked like you were having fun."
Marco raised an amused brow. "Something wrong, Ace?"
"Nope!" Ace said way too quickly. "Just figured I’d remind Y/N who her favorite commander is, y’know?" He squeezed your shoulders, his grip warm. Too warm, like his flames were threatening to leak out.
You snorted, elbowing him lightly. "Jealous much?"
"Me? Jealous?" Ace scoffed, but his hold on you didn’t loosen. "Nah. Just making sure you don’t forget who keeps you warm at night."
Marco chuckled, standing up with a smirk. "Relax. I’m not stealing your girl."
Ace grumbled something under his breath, but when you turned in his arms, goving him a teasing smile, his jealousy melted, just a little.
"You’re cute when you get all possessive," you mused.
Ace flushed, his lips parting, before groaning dramatically. "Shut up, Y/N."
But when you kissed his cheek, the fire in his gut finally settled into a slow, steady burn.
And just like that, he knew, no matter who you talked to, no matter who made you laugh, you were his.
And he wasn’t letting anyone forget it.

"Unspoken"
Law x reader
tags: angst, Corazon mentioned
a/n: AHHH THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT ON MY FIRST FANFIC. I did NOT expect that it would explode!! anw I hope yall enjoy this one and love you guys^^
-----------
Trafalgar Law had never been good at feelings.
He could break down a body with surgical precision, navigate a battlefield with ruthless efficiency, and outthink even the most dangerous enemies. But emotions? They were messy. Unpredictable. A risk he nrver let himself take.
At least, not until you.
You were the exception. The one person who chipped away at his walls, who made him believe, for just a moment, that maybe he deserved something good.
And now you were slipping through his fingers.
"Y/N!"
The battlefield blurred as he sprinted toward you, his heart slamming against his ribs. He should’ve been faster. He should’ve been there.
By the time he reached you, you were already on the ground, blood pooling beneath you, staining the earth a cruel shade of red.
"No, no-" His hands trembled as he pressed them to your wound. The gash was deep, too deep. His fingers came away slick with your blood, his breath hitching. "Stay with me."
Your lashes fluttered weakly. Your body shuddered. "Captain..."
"Room!" His power surged around you, blue light flickering unsteadily. He could still save you. He had to.
But deep down, he knew. He could feel the life slipping away from you, as if it was being stolen right from his grasp. His heart clenched. His mind screamed at him to fix this, to do something.
"Damn it, Y/N, just hold on!" His voice cracked, raw with something he never let himself feel—desperation.
Your lips curled into a soft, painful smile. "It's... okay."
It wasn’t. It never would be.
His hands hovered over your wound, shaking, helpless. His powers couldn’t fix this. The one thing he prided himself on, the one thing that made him strong. It was useless now. Just like he was.
"I-I never got to tell you."
Tell you that you were more than a crewmate. More than a friend. That you had become something he couldn’t live without. That he had built his world around you without realizing it—until now, when it was crumbling in front of him.
Your fingers twitched, reaching weakly for his. He caught your hand in both of his own, squeezing, willing his warmth into your cooling skin.
"I know," you whispered.
A tear slipped down his cheek before he could stop it. "Then fight, Y/N. Please..I can't lose you. I can't-" His voice broke.
He had been here before.
The blood on his hands felt the same as it did back then—back in Flevance, when the city burned, when the streets were littered with the bodies of people he once knew. People he once loved.
And then Corazon.
Corazon, whose warmth had given him hope. Who had cradled his broken body and told him to live. Who had bled out in the snow, whispering with his last breath that he loved him.
Now it was happening again.
Fate was cruel, ripping away every light in his life, leaving him alone in the dark.
And now, it's trying to take you too.
Not again.
Your breathing grew shallow. "I’m tired, Captain."
His chest caved in. He had seen death before. Had held it in his hands, had defied it, had carved a path through it. But this? This was different.
This was you.
"Don’t go," he whispered, voice breaking.
Your fingers brushed his cheek, gentle even now. "Thank you… for letting me be by your side."
Then your hand went still.
The battlefield was silent.
Law didn’t move. He didn’t breathe.
Because the person who made him believe in something more, who made the weight on his shoulders feel lighter, who made his nightmares fade—was gone.
And he had never told you that he loved you. That you were the only warmth in his cold, shattered world. That every moment with you had made the weight on his shoulders bearable. That losing you felt like dying all over again.

" Jealousy, jealousy "
Law x reader, Kid x reader
tags: love triangle, jealous law
A/N: I'm new when it comes to making fanfics but I hope you enjoy reading this:_)
------------
The battlefield was pure chaos—a storm of clashing blades, roaring beasts, and Devil Fruit powers tearing through the floors of Onigashima. Amidst the madness, you kept your focus, cutting down enemies, fighting alongside some of the most dangerous pirates in the New World.
And then there was him.
"Oi, Y/N!"
Kid’s rough voice cut through the din as he crashed into the fray beside you, his metal-covered arm slamming into a group of Beast Pirates and sending them flying. He grinned, wild and dangerous. "Try to keep up, yeah?"
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help smirking. "I don’t have time to babysit you, Kid."
He laughed, eyes gleaming with mischief. "You wound me. But I don’t mind—since you’re way prettier when you’re mad."
Before you could retort, a sharp voice cut in.
"Quit screwing around, Eustass-ya. Focus."
Law appeared in a flash, the distinctive shambles sound of his Devil Fruit power following him. His sword slashed through an enemy behind you, effortless as ever. His golden eyes flicked to you, scanning you quickly. "Are you okay?"
You nodded, smiling slightly. "Captain! I’m fine. We need to push forward—"
"Then stop getting distracted," Law snapped, voice tight. But his glare wasn’t aimed at you. It was locked on Kid.
Kid grinned wider, clearly enjoying himself. "What’s the matter, Trafalgar? Jealous?" He leaned closer to you, his voice dropping into a mockingly low, flirtatious tone. "Can’t blame you… Y/N's a hell of a fighter and easy on the eyes."
The temperature dropped.
"Room."
Before you could react, you were yanked backward, the battlefield shifting in an instant. Law’s power had placed you behind him, his tall frame shielding you from the chaos. His sword pointed straight at Kid, his face eerily calm—but his eyes were sharp, cold.
"Say one more word, and I’ll dissect you," Law said, voice dangerously low.
"Try me," Kid shot back, his grin never faltering.
The air between them crackled with tension, but you didn’t have time for this.
"Both of you, knock it off!" you snapped, stepping between them. "We’re in the middle of a war, or did you forget?"
They glared at each other for a long beat before Law finally huffed in frustration, turning away. "Stay close to me," he muttered.
Kid, of course, wasn’t done. "Don’t worry, Y/N. When this is over, I’ll take you out for a drink..If you survive sticking with him," he added with a smirk.
Law’s glare darkened, but before he could react, you groaned and covered Kid’s mouth with your hand. "Enough!"
You could feel him laughing under your palm, mumbling something muffled but no doubt infuriating.
"Room. Shambles."
The battlefield blurred, and suddenly, you and Law stood alone in a secluded area, away from the chaos. The only sounds were the distant echoes of battle and your own quickened breath.
"Why did you—?" you started, but Law turned to you, his expression unusually serious.
"You’re reckless," he muttered. "Letting him pull you into his games when there are enemies all around. It’s dangerous."
You raised an eyebrow. "I can handle myself, Captain."
He exhaled sharply, running a hand through his dark hair. "I know," he admitted, softer this time. "That’s not the point."
You frowned, watching him carefully. This wasn’t just about Kid anymore. There was something deeper in his voice, something restrained.
"Then what is the point?" you asked quietly.
Law hesitated, his fingers tightening around the hilt of his sword before finally meeting your gaze. "I don’t want to lose you."
The words hung between you, heavier than the battlefield, heavier than the war itself.
Your breath caught. "Captain—"
"Kid flirts because he has nothing to lose," Law interrupted, voice steady but tense. "I don’t have that luxury. I don’t say things I don’t mean, Y/N."
Your heart pounded. This was Trafalgar Law—always calculating, always keeping a distance. But now, there was no distance. No barriers. Just him, raw and unguarded.
You stepped closer. "Then say it."
Law’s golden eyes searched yours. A battle raged behind them, fiercer than any war around you. And then—
"I love you."
The words were barely a whisper, but they carried more weight than anything he’d ever said before.
You didn’t hesitate.
Grabbing the front of his coat, you pulled him down, crashing your lips against his. Law stiffened for a moment, but then his hands were on you, pulling you closer as he kissed you back—slowly, deeply, like he was memorizing the shape of your lips.
When you finally pulled away, you smiled breathlessly. "You took your time."
Law exhaled, pressing his forehead to yours. "I had to be sure."
Distantly, you could still hear the battle, but it didn’t matter. Because for the first time, Trafalgar Law wasn’t just fighting to win.
He was fighting for you.

Law x reader but it's angst and both of them didn't have a happy ending please ☹️. It'll start where the reader obsess over Law for months and he doesn't give a damn about y/n. He'll continue acting cold and harsh towards her. And then overtime Law slowly develops feelings for her but it's too late because y/n decided to leave the crew. The ending goes like ".... as I watch her disappear from the crowd. if only she'd known that, I... loved her." (I swear it sounds better in my head)
or instead of leaving the crew, Penguin was always there for her and y/n slowly falls for him and then Law gets jealous and knows that he doesn't have a chance with y/n anymore. He's guilty for not appreciating y/n all those months.
Idk anymore 😞.
That's all, bye:>

“Captain! I made you some tea.”
The moment the words leave your lips, you already know how this will end.
Trafalgar Law doesn’t even look up from the map sprawled across his desk. His fingers tap against the parchment absentmindedly, his mind clearly elsewhere.
“Leave it” he mutters, eyes scanning the paper.
You hesitate “But you haven’t eaten anything all day—”
“I said leave it, Y/N.” His tone is sharp, edged with irritation. His golden eyes flicker toward you, cold and dismissive “Stop wasting your time.”
Your breath catches for just a second before you force a small smile “Right… Sorry, Captain.”
You place the cup on his desk anyway before turning to leave, your hands curling into fists. You tell yourself that maybe, just maybe, this time he’ll take a sip.
But as you step out onto the deck, you already know he won’t.
“Still chasing after the captain, huh?”
Shachi’s voice startles you from your thoughts as you lean against the railing, staring at the open sea. He and Penguin stand beside you, both wearing matching smirks, though there’s something sympathetic in their eyes.
“I’m not chasing him” you mumble, kicking at the wooden deck.
Penguin snorts “Right. You just happen to bring him tea every day, patch him up first after every fight, and stare at him when you think no one’s looking.”
Heat rushes to your face “I don’t stare at him.”
Shachi grins “Yeah? Anyway what were you just doing in his office?”
You look away, biting your lip. You don’t need to answer. They already know.
Everyone does.
The entire crew has seen how much effort you put into Law, how you linger in his presence, how you always try to ease his burdens, how you’d do anything just to get a sliver of warmth from him.
And they’ve seen how he never gives you anything in return.
“He’s never going to change, you know,” Penguin says, quieter this time “Law’s… Law. He’s not the kind of guy to let people in.”
“I know.” You exhale, trying to ignore the ache in your chest “But that doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying.”
Shachi sighs, exchanging a look with Penguin, but neither of them argue. What’s the point?
That night, you find yourself outside Law’s office again, a plate of food in your hands. The lamp inside is still lit, and you can hear the faint scratching of his pen against paper.
You hesitate before knocking “Captain?”
There’s no response.
You take a deep breath before pushing the door open just enough to peek inside. As expected, he’s still at his desk, completely absorbed in whatever he’s writing. His brows are furrowed, dark circles prominent under his eyes.
He looks exhausted.
“You should eat something,” you say softly, stepping inside “You’ve been working all day.”
Law sighs heavily, rubbing his temples “I don’t have time for this.”
“You have time to starve?” You set the plate down beside him, crossing your arms “At least take a break.”
He finally looks at you then, and for a second, you think he might actually listen. But instead, his gaze hardens.
“You don’t need to take care of me, Y/N.”
Your heart sinks.
“I want to...” you whisper.
Law pushes the plate away without another word. And just like that, you’re dismissed.
You don’t sleep that night. Instead, you stare at the ceiling of your cabin, the weight of reality pressing down on you.
No matter what you do, how much you try... he will never see you the way you want him to.
And maybe it’s time to stop hoping he will.
Days pass. Then weeks.
Nothing changes.
Law remains the same... distant, cold, utterly indifferent to your presence. No matter how many times you try to reach him, he never lets you in.
At first, it hurt, but now, it’s exhausting.
“You should stop, I'm saying this for your own good y/n” Bepo says one evening as you sit on the deck, staring at the horizon.
“Stop what?” you ask, even though you already know the answer.
Bepo sighs, settling beside you “You know what. The captain… he isn’t good at showing how he feels.”
You let out a dry laugh “That’s assuming he feels anything at all.”
“He does,” Bepo insists “He’s just… complicated.”
Complicated. That’s one way to put it.
But after months of being ignored, pushed away, and dismissed, you’re tired of making excuses for him.
“You know what? You're right. Trafalgar Law doesn’t care about me,” you say quietly “and I think it’s time I stop caring about him, too.”
The words taste bitter, but the moment they leave your lips, something inside you shifts.
Maybe this is what acceptance feels like.
Maybe this is freedom.
Law notices it before anyone else.
It’s subtle at first, the way you stop lingering in his office, the way you no longer bring him tea or remind him to rest.
Then, it becomes impossible to ignore.
“You’ve been acting different lately,” Shachi comments one afternoon “Not that I’m complaining, but you’re not hovering around the captain anymore.”
You shrug “Got tired of it.”
Penguin raises a brow “Just like that?”
“Just like that.”
It’s a lie, of course.
It wasn’t easy. It still isn’t. But you’ve spent too much time chasing after someone who doesn’t want to be caught.
And you refuse to keep running after a lost cause.
Law watches from the upper deck as you laugh with the others, a sight that should be normal, except it isn’t.
Because for the first time in months, you look… light. Unburdened. And you’re not looking for him, you're not looking at him.
Something about that unsettles him, but he shoves the feeling down.
It shouldn’t matter and it doesn’t matter.
At least, that’s what he tells himself.
But when he finds himself missing the way you used to call his name, the way you always made sure he ate, the way you cared—
He realizes, too late, that maybe it does matter.
“You seem happier these days” Bepo comments one evening as you sit together.
You hum in response, resting your chin on your knees “More than happier I think I feel lighter...”
It’s not entirely true. A part of you still aches when you think about Law, when you remember all the time and love you wasted on someone who never gave anything back.
But at the very least, you’re not waiting for something that will never come.
And that’s enough.
Or so you tell yourself.
Law watches you from afar, as always, something unfamiliar twisting in his chest.
For months, you were always there, persistent, unwavering. You never gave up on him, no matter how many times he pushed you away.
And yet, now that you’ve stopped trying…
He finds himself wishing you hadn’t. But it’s too late.
“You’re really leaving?”
Bepo’s voice is thick with sadness as he watches you pack your things. His ears droop, his large paws clenching at his sides.
You force a small smile, though it doesn’t quite reach your eyes “Yeah. I think it’s time.”
The words feel foreign, even as you say them. You’ve been on this ship for so long, pouring your heart into someone who never wanted it. But now, for the first time, you’re choosing yourself.
“You don’t have to go,” Bepo says desperately “The crew loves you. I love you.”
Your heart clenches at the raw emotion in his voice, but you shake your head “I know, Bepo. And I love you guys, too. But… staying here will only hurt me more. I'll never be truly happy here.”
He doesn’t argue. He knows you’re right.
Shachi and Penguin stand in the doorway, silent for once. Their usual teasing is gone, replaced by something heavier.
“You deserve better” Shachi finally says.
You smile, though it trembles at the edges “Yeah. I think so, too.”
The crew gathers at the dock the next morning, the air thick with unspoken emotions.
You exhale, adjusting the strap of your bag “Take care of yourselves, alright?”
Bepo sniffs, pulling you into a crushing hug “Come visit us someday.”
You hesitate before nodding “Yeah… Maybe.”
Everyone is there. Everyone except a certain someone.
You say nothing to Law about your leaving and you made the crew promise they wouldn't tell him neither.
You keep your plans quiet, your thoughts heavier than usual. There’s no need for a grand goodbye, he won’t notice anyway. So, instead, you quietly gather your things, packing only what’s essential, leaving behind the small mementos of a life you’re trying to forget.
The others know. Bepo, Shachi, Penguin—they’ve all seen the way things have shifted, the way you’ve slowly withdrawn over the past few weeks. They know why you’re leaving, even if they wish you didn’t.
You make your rounds, saying goodbye to each one of them.
“Bepo…” you pause as he wraps his arms around you, his voice thick with emotion “Are you sure about this?”
“I have to be,” you say softly, pressing your cheek against his fur “I’ve given up too much of myself already.”
He squeezes you tighter, his breath shaky “You’ll always have a place here with us.”
You pull away, offering him a watery smile “I know. I’ll miss you guys.”
Shachi claps you on the back with his usual grin, but it’s tempered with sadness “You’ll be fine out there, Y/N. You always manage to land on your feet.”
“I’m not sure about that” you reply softly, but you appreciate the sentiment.
Penguin gives you a quiet nod, his usual teasing grin gone “Good luck.”. Actually he's using his at to hide his tears.
It’s not the kind of goodbye you expected when you first joined the crew, but it’s the one you’ve come to accept. They know, and they understand.
But then you turn to face the ship.
Law has been absent for most of the morning, as he usually is, buried in his work. His door is closed, but you know he’s there, just like always. You don’t go near his office.
You make sure to leave your things in a small pile in the corner of the deck, making it look like nothing out of the ordinary. You pick up your bag one last time, glancing back at the crew as they quietly wish you well.
And then you leave without a word.
No one stops you.
Law doesn’t know.
He walks onto the deck just as the crew is finishing their work, wiping his hands on his coat as he steps toward his office. He’s tired, his head still pounding from the hours of paperwork he’s been handling.
But something catches his attention.
A folded piece of paper sits on his desk, placed neatly in the center of it. He blinks at it for a moment, confused. Who left this?
He walks over, picking it up with a frown. His gaze flickers over the familiar handwriting—Y/N’s handwriting.
For a moment, he hesitates. But then, he unfolds the letter, eager to read whatever you’ve written.
He doesn’t expect what’s inside.
Law,
I can’t keep doing this. I’ve tried for months to ignore it, but I’ve come to realize that you’ll never feel the same as me. I’m tired of waiting for something that will never come. I can’t keep living in the hope that one day, you’ll notice me the way I’ve always noticed you. I do accept rejection tho, I just think it's too hard for me to stay and pretend I feel happy like this.
I’m leaving the crew, and I don’t think I’ll be back.
The words hit him like a punch to the gut. His mind races, unable to comprehend what he’s just read. You… you’re leaving?
He stands frozen for a few seconds, his hands shaking slightly as he grips the letter. Why didn’t you tell me?
He rushes out the door, heading for the deck, his heart pounding in his chest.
He doesn’t see you.
He runs to the edge of the ship, scanning the horizon frantically, his breath catching in his throat.
“Y/N!?”
But there’s no response. No sign of you. Only the distant sound of the waves crashing against the ship, the wind whipping through the air.
“She just left” Bepo says looking like he just stopped crying and then he point over the crowd “Please stop hurting her, Captain”
He grits his teeth, his chest tight with a strange mix of panic and regret.
I’m sorry if I ever seemed too pushy for your liking, I was just trying to help you. I never meant to hurt you or annoy you.
I had a good time with the rest of the crew but my feelings can’t be ignored anymore.
This is something I need to do for myself. Maybe it’s selfish but for once I want to put you second and protect myself.
I loved you.
Goodbye,
Y/N
—
—
I loved you.
I loved you.
And now you’re gone.
As he watches you slowly disappear in the crowd he whispers so that only himself could hear “… if only she’d known that I loved her.”
