Today is Masato and I's 5th anniversary! I decided to go with an idea I've had on my drawing list for a good while after being inspired by a mutual. If we designed matching outfits for eachother, this is basically what it would look like. Which set do you prefer?🤭💜💙

I've been through a lot over these past 5 years. And through it all, you've always been there for me; showing me unconditional love and giving me the support I need. Not only am I endlessly grateful for you, but I hope I can continue supporting and loving you in return in the years to come. Happy Anniversary, My Love!🥹💜💙

A Relaxing White Day~😌🧴💜💙🪮

Still made it on time for March 14th in my timezone!😅

I had this idea in my head for YEARS...I've finally done it! And for my first White Day piece in two years at that! It was so nice to enjoy a sweet treat while being pampered.🙂‍↕️💜💙

Thoughts for this are a bit lengthy, so there's gonna be a cut.

Ever since I decided to cut out chemical straighteners from my routine and start fresh 5 years ago, properly caring for my natural hair has become increasingly more important to me. Unfortunately, I've often had to endure pain and discomfort during appointments; whether it's a blow dryer being too hot, or a stylist being impatient and as a result handling my hair too roughly. Sadly, I'm not the only Black woman who's experienced this. Eventually, you get used to the pain, and just accept it as a part of caring for your hair...But it doesn't always have to be that way.

I may not be able to completely eliminate discomfort when I go to someone else to do my hair, but I CAN be more mindful and gentle when handling my hair myself; which I actually did recently. I detangled and styled my hair with little to no pain! I've known for years that Nadine (my hair) requires A LOT of my time. There have been nights where I DID rush when detangling and styling her, because I stayed up too late and just wanted to go to sleep...And BOY was it painful. LOL. If I can help it, I don't want to inflict ANY pain on myself at all. It's just not necessary, and it never hurts to be nicer to myself.

Going forward, I'm going to be intentional about having more patience with my hair...If Masato can do it, I can too!🥹

(And he did a great job. Look at how focused he is on beading!😤💜💙)

This year, I made Masato some matcha white chocolate muffins! I wish the ones I baked actually looked like the ones I drew....Well, it is what it is. They still tasted good at least!😅 (The apron and oven mitts may look familiar~)

I'll be taking the day off from studying for my birthday, so Masato and I get to spend some much needed quality time together. I got some delicious treats and an adorable present! I've been wanting a plush bonnet like this for a while, but they always seem to be sold out...Thankfully, I got an even better one made with love.🥹💕

It's been pretty quiet these days and we haven't posted as much as before. But, hopefully this year we'll try to be more active.

Just figured that I'd decided to implement a new tag system.

For self shippers that are ok with sharing their F/Os, posts shared here will have the "ok sharing" tag.

Non sharing shippers will get the "not ok sharing" tag.

I'd add on these tags to past posts, but that'll take some time as some users have deactivated/change usernames. So, that'll have to apply to only new posts for the mean time.

EMERGENCY RENT HELP

I am disabled and autistic. My mother is a narcissist and living on my own has been wonderful for me to get out from that mental abuse and figure myself out. I have more of a voice now because I no longer live with her. Today I sent a text to her telling her that I feel ignored by her when I have been trying to get her to help with my rent situation. I got no reply from her, but she was sure to send her flying monkeys, my sister and grandmother who both live with her, nasty texts about how I’m a horrible, ungrateful child. The person who was supposed to be helping me with said rent has already ditched and it's all me now. Let me be very clear right now:

If I have to go back to that household I will not survive.

I can NOT go back. I am on my hands and knees BEGGING now to please please donate if you can and if you can’t : reblog, reblog, reblog.

I have no place to live and no source of income, and my son’s treatment is the most important thing now. I fear that I will not be able to provide it. Please help me.
