op this blog got me into ultrakill and its slowly making me want to actually play it despite the crippling fear that i'll be bad at the game
There is no shame in playing on whatever difficulty suits you :]
The game has some modifiers to make things easier if you’re struggling and don’t want to lower the difficulty or only need help for a certain thing.
Plus, it’s not an online game. No one will see how you did unless you decide to post about it. The only leaderboard is in the cyber grind which is completely optional. So don’t let the fear stop you if you want to play it!

Is there any other franchise or character that you're willing to do whatever this is?
The only other thing I’m dedicated enough to would be Halo, but as far as I’m aware of there would be nothing to post. Besides Cameo vids and cameos are usually just like birthday/congratulation messages. Not really stuff you’d post. And even if there were streams for me to go through, I don’t have the time to do so.
Unless you meant in a theoretical sense, assuming there was stuff to post and time wasn’t an issue. Then yes I’d probably have an account just for Halo stuff. Not a specific character though.
