1 | Beyond the Beyond(PS1) Playthrough

Game opens with getting dropped off at a friends house after getting my ass beat by my dad

friends dad and my dad both decide it would be funny if I went to a cave full of monsters to prove I'm not a bitch and fetch some tasty plot water

Wake up and head out to the cave with my tiny dragon BFF

Neighbor girl, Annie, tries to go with me but is kept down by the patriarchy, parents make her stay home and do girly things instead.

Annie sneaks out and comes anyway, meets me in the cave

She plays mind games and tricks me into admitting I think she might be better off staying home because its dangerous

Gets mad and continues into the cave by herself

She goes down the wrong path in the fork in the road, so I left her to her fate and went to get the quest water

Grab the water and decide I should probably not let her die, so go down the other path

She got captured by a tentacle monster, jfc

Sprinkle some plot water on the tentacles to save her, but she's already KO'd

Sprinkle more plot water onto her instead, and she starts glowing (I'm sure its fine)

We go home and go to bed without telling the parents what happened

Someone starts screaming in the middle of the night

Turns out its the neighbor girl's brother, and he's bleeding out

He manages to tell us the castle where our dad works just got invaded before passing out

Annie freaks out and uses the power of love and friendship to activate some magical healing powers

Her brother lives, falls asleep instead of dying

Must have been the tentacles and magic water + an extreme situation that activated the powers

The Brother (Percy) , Annie, and I decide to go to the castle to see what's up, maybe get involved in a war or something

Season of Discovery has actually been so fun. Something about being forced to sit and explore the game at level 25 is refreshing.

Heading out on a hot fix day to Thousand Needles to tame the latest meta hunter pet, and having to fight alliance hunters for their spawns was not only lots of fun, it’s something that wouldn’t have ever happened in other versions of the game.
