I watched minecraft movie, it was so camp! I went with my friends and we had 0 expectations and we had so much fun :D!

Like yeah it wasn't good but was so silly. Of course I have my nitpicks about the movie, like how some mobs modelled and how it would be much better if at least minecraft world part was fully animated etc etc

Some spoilers and nitpicks ig

First thing first Garett and Steve got such a gay uncles vibes lmaooo (uncle yaoi wasn't in my bingo card for sure lol)

Also post credit Alex tease Σ(･o･ ) I was and wasn't expecting that tbh. Anyways her hair was prettyyyyy

Now my nitpicks. Tbh I don't get mojangs thing about making pigling THE bad guys in spinoff minecraft media when they not evil in minecraft itself. There's the bad guys in minecraft (pillagers, Enderdragon and wither) and like in minecraft legends and in the movie they are most evil mfs ever (I have no info about minecraft dungeons)

I will not touch on the lore as movie did not care about it

I really dislike how most of mobs look in the movie except piglings, they hella cute especially the babies (ig wolfs too they cute) while villagers/pillagers and zombies ugly af 💀

And I dislike how trees look like and in woodland mansion part TREE AREN'T EVEN DARK OAK LİKE WTF

Thinking about the vibes of Minecraft's antagonist groups...

Illagers are evil, but human evil. They're a cult in distant strongholds, a vendetta against a severed kin, creatures trapped in cages for who knows what ends. They're tribalism, pride, desire overstepping morality, lust for power, lust for knowledge, lust for wealth. They're the grumbling soldier, the scowling hatchet-man, the monologuing mastermind, the sorcerer sneering from his throne.

Undead are evil, inhuman evil. They are mindless, relentless, merciless. There is no thought or conscience behind those empty eyes, just the drive to make life end. They are death, and death follows with them. They are the groaning horde of corpses, the keening spirit, the grim avatar of death.

Piglins are the barbarians, a hard people from a hard land. They are not your friends, but neither are they inherently your foe. They are hardened survivors, huddling in ruins of a past glory or scraping by a living in the wilds, defending their land from those coming from outside. Their desire is the companionship of the tribe, the sweet smell of meat after a hunt, and the lovely gleam of gold. They are the barbarian chief, the cunning trapper in the wild, the berserker red with glory.

Endermen are alien. They seek no goals we can perceive, wander lonely in the night on what might be aeons-spanning missions or the passing whims of chance. They follow fair rules, but their rules are alien. They will pass you by and seek no harm, but will not suffer eyes on them as they do their work. They are the half-seen monster in the night, the quiet figure by your window, they fey people of the otherworld.

IT'S MINECRAFT TIME AGAIN I said I might cook more minecraft stuff and I hath done it. A friend of mine asked if I would be designing the other default skins in minecraft as well, and the answer was YES

Summary of each of them is under the cut. If you don't want to be hit with a text wall then I'll see you in the next post when it comes out approximately 1,000 years from now!

Sunny:

Found by villagers, he was given to and raised by the village nitwit. He grew up into a kind, helpful, gentle young man, though despite his happy and carefree disposition, he is also quite wise and gives good advice to those who need it. He works as a fisherman, farmer, and general handyman for the iron golems in his village.

Efe:

A skilled swordswoman born in the Nether, and raised by wither skeletons. Witty, sarcastic, loyal, and a little dramatic are all words that describe her. There is an air of mystery about her though, given her strange immunity to wither an her occasional admissions of hearing whispers of the fallen Wither itself.

Noor:

Raised by pillagers, specifically an Evoker, Noor was raised a soldier. Serious, quiet, blunt and commanding, she has an intimidating presence even without considering her ability to use fangs.

Ari:

Ari was found and raised by a colony of monsters below ground. She grew up very self sufficient, kind, loving, and a little temperamental. Intelligent with her survival skills and friendly with her ability to make buddies wherever she goes, she adapts well to whatever situations she ends up in.

Makena:

Raised by a nomadic tribe of piglins. Known to be kind, quiet, reliable, gentle and slightly stern when she needs to be, she is loved by all who meet her. She has a special fondness for striders, given they were her tribe's mount of choice. She also loves traveling and seeing what all the dimensions have to offer.

Kai:

Stern and slightly grumpy since the day they spawned, they were a rare case of a builder appearing in the End, which they were found and raised by endermen. Kai's serious demeanor stuck with them as they grew up, but they also seemed quite frustrated and agitated sometimes given they didn't have the same capabilities as their enderman family members.

Zuri:

A funny, carefree and curious guy raised by a caravan of wandering traders. Zuri is truly the comic relief of the group, he doesn't have as good of survival skills or niche knowledge like the others do, but he sure is good at walking and he knows a wide array of items and their usage. He's also very good at haggling.
