     eve:

“This one is a little different, Yuno, you see, last month is what was called “Thanksgiving” and that was a time centered around humans coming together with friends and loved ones and to think of what they should be grateful and thankful for.”

“There’s something regarding a man dressed in red breaking and entering your home to deliver presents, but I’m not sure that’s truthful at all, still, I’d advise you keep up the stations security just in case.”

     the idea of  thanksgiving─and, likewise, christmas─is a foreign concept. ( really, what nasod on the station needed a holiday, anyway? ) eve’s explanation, however brief it may have been, quells yuno’s curiosity somewhat & yet, confusion still would wear itself ‘cross his features.

          “  if someone is trying to deliver presents, then why is he breaking & entering...  “

     well, whatever.

          “  it sounds weird, but pretty fun at the same time. i should take your advice & keep a better eye on what happens. do you know  anything else about christmas, eve?  “

     he doesn’t  understand. truly, he does not, for how could he, having spent years─no, centuries─in the maddening rut of operations on atlas station. no soul dared enlighten him ‘ti recently; these events and holidays were mystifying & every bit of new to yuno. upon the hat ( small & contrary to his own colors, crafted of a material he’s not seen before ) being donned, does the nasod need only one moment before his curiosity would get the better of him. lips would twist upward & cyan lenses would snap to the other, yuno raises his question:

          “  thanks─but, what’s it for?  “

          “  spiral staircases in medieval castles always run clockwise. this is because all knights used to be right-handed. when the intruding army would climb the stairs they would not be able to use their right hand which was holding the sword because of the difficulties of climbing the stairs. left-handed knights would have had no troubles, except left-handed people could never become knights because it was assumed that they were descendants of the devil.  “

Hands the good boi late halloween candy-- The good thing is there's lots now it's on sale-

     & how  elated he seems when offered the candy. artificial lips curl upward and, dare one be mistaken, ( for there is no way a creation such as he can possibly, truly, emulate emotion as a human can ) his eyes would shine with delight.

          “  oh! thanks! i’ve never had─candy? i think that’s what i was told it was. this is great! thanks again!!  “

Extended claws grasped at thin air before his face, knuckles brushing contact with lifeless Diceon. For a Nasod to hold their authority against what was right and wrong was nothing new. And yet for it to be spoken with such a new level of something one could easily mistake for true emotion behind it- For a moment, it was almost as if time had stopped for Add who took time to process such a thing. Eve was still, without a doubt the perfect specimen, but this was something else.

After what was probably mere seconds of processing time his arm had dropped, whatever flicker of surprise that had existed in his expression cracking into one bemused grin. Cackling laughter soon followed suit toward such a childish claim the Nasod boy expressed.

“Another me?” He speaks through laughter. “Such a feat would be impossible for the likes of you!” For there to be another him at all. Another true him from his original timeline? That was a feat that long since became impossible. How pathetic. “You’re far from the point of being able to even scratch the surface of what it would take to understand an actual human!”

     he cannot feel it, yet he recognizes that the other’s hand lingers─that add’s knuckles would still brush against the rounded curve of his cheek. had yuno have been less of the nasod he was & more human as were his new friends, he would have flinched away. perhaps then he would pull himself completely from the other’s reach, but he remains still save for the slow bat of his eyelids.

     but, it’s quite true; yuno bears close to no grasp on humans & what truly makes them what they are. if he so wished to learn all he could, then he would spend an incomprehensible amount of time in doing so─and even still, would he have the answers he desired?  no. ah, but just the same, add ( granted yuno knows so little of the other and thus cannot judge with absolute certainty his character ) would always be far from perfecting the  true nature  of nasod technology.

     something  about this thought was...  comforting  to hold close. it would ease yuno from his wariness ( not necessarily unfounded, yet outside his range of understanding ) and return him to a state of calm. with lips once more turned upward─perhaps out of some length of cockiness─does the administrator respond:

          “  and you couldn’t understand what      makes a nasod, a nasod even if you dismantled      every last one of us. i said no, add. will you please      stop?  “

     hugs are  an unfamiliar sensation & concept not ( so he believes; he cannot sort through memory files which he cannot access ) previously experienced. still & nonetheless, does a curl pull at yuno’s lips with the other’s gesture. even if he knows not who invades his space.

Yuno is handed a battery powered light up pumpkin. Now he can have spooks every day!

     and how bizarre  it is to be gifted such a ( by comparison to his own like ) poorly crafted device.  a pumpkin, as it would come to be explain when he pauses only to raise question, which ignites that latent sense of curiosity  in the nasod. a simple decoration that. with a flick of a switch situated at it’s base, would be alight to display it’s seasonal charm─something spooky, as he is told. ( granted, he doesn’t quite grasp the sensation beyond it’s definition ) cyan would glance over the minute detail of plastic & paint as if he couldn’t readily memorize it’s design.  perhaps, he thinks to himself as hands continue to turn the faux gourd over, he may be able to fashion a similar look for his dear companion & assistant,  nono?

     lips would part  when yuno is content with fleshing out his idea─ever eager to experience what no doubt countless humans have. and, with the same amount of ease it takes for him to bring his excitement to his voice, does a  smile  twist at manufactured lips.
