Touched by the fact that her new acquaintance displayed such care and interest for her well-being and following her understanding of what she meant regarding the Shi’ar, her expression softened, including her smile, although her emerald eyes displaying a glimmer of both hope and sadness. With a small shrug, she expressed, “I think so. Actually, I know I will be strength-wise again. I always manage to get back on my feet when there’s a fall of some kind. It’s just some other things about my time there and after that have kept my mind busy and awake a lot.”

"Birdies are Shi'ar. Impressive, when you take out members of Imperial Guard on your own," she nodded. "How you recover since the attack?" she asked, a little concerned about the girl's well-being. She had been taken and tortured by the Shi'ar when she was young, before she met Corsair. 

Mouthing an “oh” expression as she took in the definition of the word, with a brief accompanying nod, she questioned, “That is your name then, right? Hepzibah? I never heard such a name before, but I think it’s lovely. If you are referring to the Phoenix, it’s my older self that bears that alias and its powers, although I have gifts I’m finding out about and working on right now myself.”

"No, we’re not cool enough to be pirates. And all our trouble comes from within our ranks." Rachel agreed. "Scott is still with you right?"
