We're considering revisiting some of our stretch goal ideas, exploring having more monsters to date with shorter routes, rather than have a small selection of monsters with longer routes for each of them. This is our thoughts so far after seeing how the community has responded! 💜

Can I date the eldritch lovecraftian monsters (Asking for a friend) 👀

Great question! So far we have four characters you would be able to date for the base game: the sleep paralysis shadow monster, a zombie girl, a vampire guy, and a devil girl. What we're hoping to have happen is that we reach stretch goals in our upcoming Kickstarter so that we can add more characters for players to romance. There seems to be a lot of excitement for the monster characters the most, and we're open to any monster requests as we prepare to showoff those stretch goals. 💚

Made a little update on our launch date. We are going based more on how many followers our pre-launch page has to give us the best chance of success. On another note, our team has personally experienced loss in the family a few weeks ago, so we're a little bit more behind than we anticipated as far as getting the campaign launched. We're still going to be steadily working on marketing and preparations, and will launch the KS as soon as everything falls into place. Thank you for understanding.

In the meantime, we would greatly appreciate it if you shared our game with others to help us reach a bigger following on our Kickstarter page 💜

We are happy to announce that our spooky bubble tea game Boba Monsters will be coming to Kickstarter.

Synopsis:

Boba Monsters is a bubble tea making dating sim. Craft spooky boba drinks, unlock bizarre toppings, and chat with an array of monster customers. Make their favorite recipes to win their hearts–or else you’re doomed to become the undead.

Why are we launching a Kickstarter?

Whether we should launch a Kickstarter or continue to self-fund the game is something our core team of two has been debating for awhile now. While self-funding a project is ideal, in our case it slows down development of the game overall, and does not easily allow for the possibility of adding more features to the game like a Kickstarter could provide, especially in terms of potential stretch goals. TL;DR, we want to make the game the best it can be and have the funds to bring more people on the team, which would then help us bring the game to life sooner.

We are hoping to launch after having at least 300+ followers on our pre-launch page.
