Rami wasn’t the sort to get bent or even caught up on something so trivial however in the moment he couldn’t help it.  It was almost as though he had a one track mind and it was ultimately confronting the younger man, “if you don’t end up winning next week..... I think I may need to demand another match against you.”

‘When it rains it pours.’  Rami never really understood the saying itself, and it had nothing to do with a language barrier - rather a case where he’s never been in a situation where luck wasn’t on his side, but today life had some other plans.   Having failed to even look to see how the weather was going to be - assuming the sunny Florida weather would at least hold up long enough for him to go and get things taken care of - he had forgotten to even grab for an umbrella, leaving him to fight his way through torrential rain that showed no signs of letting up.  Having given up the Canadian native took shelter under a bus awning to wait out the storm, only problem being he wasn’t exactly alone in the idea.  Dark eyes wandered over to take a glance at whom his company was - only to have a thick lump form in the back of his throat halting him from taking the sharp intake of air that escaped him in seconds.  “.... Mercedes?”

“I know I didn’t have to - but I guess I wanted to?  They’re kinda growing on me, with all the fur they decide they want  to leave behind.  Can’t you just give me the nuzzles in place of them?”

“Hmm, that a con, but not so much of a bad one. You didn’t have to buy them but thank you so much anyways. Expect lots of leg nuzzles next time you come over ‘cause I’m telling them you bought the gifts for them.”

“Hey, I mean we’ll still get to see each other during the Pay Per Views, ‘less they are planning on doing a full on brand extension with us getting separate shows and stuff - doubt it but you never know what can happen here.  No one is looking to be a third wheel for that - kinda makes me a bit happy they are over there and not here.  I guess you aren’t stealing it but don’t let anyone take it from you - I mean it is yours bask in it and stuff.” 

               “Gonna suck not havin’ you, Colby, Chad, Drew, Ferg, and basically everyone ‘round. Jus’ over here on Smackdown stuck all by my lonesome self. And trust me when I say I ain’t about to be third wheel on a Miz and Maryse date. But I ain’t gonna steal it, y’all know this ‘cause I live in it. And that ain’t jus’ me bein’ cocky either.”

“Well, I had a feeling they would love them but some of  them make squeaking noises when they get batted around and few of them are little little cat maracas.  So if they play  with them at night, we might not get any sleep..... I try to be thoughtful anyways.”

“Did you really? They’re gonna love ‘em! How could I be mad at you for that? You had pretty good timing because I think they were getting of their old ones. You’re so thoughtful.”

Despite having yet another match against coming up in the next few hours, he couldn’t help being lost in this very moment with his lover.  Somehow the Australian woman had her own way of making Rami forget about everything that worried him - allowed him to focus and enjoy simple things as opposed to worrying about things such as matches that only bookers had control over.  The rapid pattering of his heart was for her and not for anything as mundane as his match. 

“Mhmm, ‘inkling’,” teasing her right back, as his hands rested on her waist allowing him to savor the reality of her being so near.  “Tomatoes good for you and are better for you than just staying at home all the time,” a soft joking musing flowing from his lips before he turned his head slightly to return a soft kiss against the corner of her mouth. 

            With his body coming closer to hers, Tenille felt some relief with him being so close to her again. Admittedly, she’s been lonely without him. She didn’t mean to be one of those needy women, but they were different from most people. They were people constantly on the road, constantly separated. She treasured these moments.

“Hmmm. I may have had an inkling.” She teased, her arms wrapping around his middle and pressing herself against his bare chest. “I do like an adorable little tomato. He’s very cute and I’ve missed him a lot.” Standing on her tip toes, she pressed a kiss to his cheek.
