I like how you combined traits from both g3 and g4 Fluttershy for your name au. Was she also based on the g5 pony Gloomy Sonnet appearance-wise?

The resemblance to Gloomy Sonnet is accidental, but I definitely see it. I'm going for somewhat surface level readings with the names, so archetypes might be inevitable. Just two moody artistic souls. I bet they would get along! Maybe Garble and his beret can come too.

Distant and inscrutable, Princess Celestia is said to be the embodiment of the sky. She is rarely seen and almost never speaks to ponies, perhaps because she doesn't understand them. The symbols on her cutie mark are always shifting and changing.

Long ago, Celestia ruled alone. She provided the world with bright, warm days, but when she went to sleep, the night would be empty and black as pitch. One day, little Princess Luna appeared, filling the night sky with a soft, comforting light. Other than her alicorn wings and horn, Luna looks exactly like a regular pony. Once a month she walks among the denizens of Equestria, making friends and gathering energy to illuminate the night.

Twilight Sparkle is elegant and gorgeous and a bit reserved, which comes off as cold to those who don't know her. Far from being unfriendly though, Twilight is captivated by the talents and amazing personalities of the ponies around her.

She brought her friend group together just by wanting to spend time with them all. She forms the 'heart' of any big endeavor by seeing the potential in her friends.
