okay yall, as we know Sturniolo Tumblr has been a bit quiet lately! DEFINENTLY not dying but I think we just need something to talk about and share! which is why I made this tag game!!

TW: BLOOD!!

When I was about eleven, I was cleaning my room and suddenly felt a sharp pain in my foot.

Come to find out, I had stepped and impaled my foot with a black tiara shaped ring 😭😭

I went to the bathroom and ripped it out of my foot (not a good idea) and blood literally was pouring out istg 😭

when I showed my mom she literally freaked out and told me I mightve hit a tendon in there and it was gonna fuck me up (not her words exactly but) and we went to the hospital and they just wrapped my foot and sent me home 😞

I still had to hobble at school the next day.

I have so many more embarrassing/crazy stories but I'm going to pass it off to the next people!!

“I’m always here, you know. Remember when we used to walk down Bloor street, just soaking up the sun and staring at the little shops all around town.. when you used to beg me to “window shop” in all of them and we ended up leaving with five bags stuffed full?”

 Matt breaths, wind rustling on the microphone.

“Sorry, I just.. um. I'm walking down that street right now. Our path. It feels kind of lonely now. This street isn't meant to be walked alone.”

Matt chuckles softly, but the sound is more bitter than humorous. 

“Um.. yeah. Anyways, that's all I had to say.”

“Y/n.. please just call me. I—god.. I miss you so much. I'd do anything just to hear your voice.. there's always space for you and me where we left it.”

he takes a deep breath, seemingly distressed.

“Even if we just talk.. just be friends, maybe? I know this is stupid, and I know maybe I'm wrong for sending you these voicemails but I just.. I'm too used to you being in my life. I need you.” 

You hear a soft sound, just the slightest indicator of his emotions.

A little sniffle, and then *click* 

The voicemail ends.

“You know.. I'm always here, right? I never wanted things to change, but they did.”

the phone rustles in the background, like he's setting it down to really get into the moment.

“I'll give you all the time you need, y/n, but I'm not a phase. I love you, and you know it. My love for you isn't disappearing any time soon.”

“God, y/n. I'm losing my head over you, I can't even think straight.”

You can hear his groan, his frustration.

“This is stupid. This is stupid, and pathetic, and we all know how this goes. This is the part where you tell me I need to move on, that you're with someone else and you don't need me anymore.”

his voice cracks.

“but—i.. I don't care if you're with someone else. I need you. You can't tell me you don't need me anymore when I'll always need you..”

he croaks out, and it's clear he isn't even making an effort to hide his emotions anymore.

“Don’t you remember… don't you remember when we'd lay on the grass outside.. you'd point out the stars and tell me what constellations they belonged to..”

he lets out a breathy laugh.

“you were always a space nerd.. all I can really say about all of that was that my love for you is like that. Like the stars in the sky. They're never gonna go, are they?”

he says, and you can hear his nervous swallow.

“Sometimes, I wish they'd go. I wish they would leave, because then, maybe my love wouldn't be so sure. I wish I could move on from you.”

“this is probably my last message. I get it. You're done with me. You want nothing to do with me, can't even give me any closure, but that's alright, y/n.”

he sighs. He sounds like he hasn't had good rest in days.

“That's okay. You can pretend like I wasn't part of your life, run off with someone else and leave me here. I just wish I hadn't given my heart to someone so careless.”

he murmurs, the line sounding a little bit crackly.

“I just wanted to say one thing. I hope you—”
