needless to say i’ve been neglecting this blog because i’ve lost interest in my ocs for the time being. i don’t know when my muse for them will come back, so for those who want to continue to rp with me (and played with one of my ocs) we can rework something to fit with one of my canon characters over on stayliquid! just because i’m not currently playing MY ocs doesn’t mean i want to stop playing with YOUR ocs.

jake riley, kai parker, and mon-el have all officially been moved over to @stayliquid (with new additions nate archibald, arthur barone, and deacon kay). 

other “canon” characters still on here are andrew deluca, lucifer morningstar, max evans, and cloud strife. i kept them on here because they are not played by chris wood in their respective shows/books/games. additionally, all my oc’s are still here. 

admittedly, i have more muse for the canon characters at the moment so i’ll probably be over there more for the time being trying to build up some plots and whatnot, but i’m still here!

mon-el & sara.

Now Sara was getting angry, “You think that’s all it boils down to, huh? Whether or not you’re human or you’re an alien?” She shook her head, “Humans and aliens alike aren’t prepared for what it means to take a life - to really take a life. I’m not talking about in self defense, either, I’m talking about in cold blood. A planned death. Ruthless. Merciless.”

She fell silent for a beat, her tone softening as she added, “Do you know what that does to you? …You tell yourself that it’s okay, that you’re doing what you have to in order to survive… And then you start to realize… With every kill… You’re dying, too. It’s just a slower form of death, that’s all.”

“And it is not your choice to make. This is my fault, these are enemies that I made as a result of my choices, and I have to be the one to clean up the mess. I have to be the one to do what needs to be done. …I won’t let anyone else suffer those consequences.”

━ it didn’t take him long to realize that with each thing he said, sara got obviously more and more mad. igniting the fight that had kept them apart for a while before she disappeared to begin with. mon-el knew enough to know that sara did what she wanted and it would never matter what him or anyone else said. 

as she reprimanded him, he kept his mouth tight-lipped, biting back from interjecting even though he wanted to. admittedly, he was only half listening at this point because he had already known what he was signing up for and was willing to do what was necessary to keep her safe. however, he knew on some level she was right and that wasn’t the man he was. and he had worked hard to make sure the legion of superheroes didn’t operate that way either. 

a hand came up to pinch at the bridge of his nose, mentally debating whether to argue it or just accept things at this point. both seemed impossible. “i get that you’re trying to protect me from feeling what it’s like to be that person, but just as much as i don’t get to choose for you - you don’t get to choose what i do or don’t do, either.” 

“your fault or not, you have to realize that you’re not alone. and out of everyone that you’re close to i’m the best choice you have to help you with this. why can’t you see that?”

bear with me while i rework what muses i’ll have on this blog vs stayliquid! i also got a new macbook that i’m trying to set up and move stuff over in between all that. additionally, i’m fighting with photoshop to figure out how to make icon borders the way i want but it hates me.

just a reminder! my canon-canon characters are going to be on the other blog. (jake, mon-el, kai, nate, barone [undrafted] and deacon [s.w.at.]) by canon-canon i mean the faceclaim is who actually portrayed them on the tv shows. (unlike how i’m using chris for lucifer and max from roswell on here)

freddie & allison.

    she rolls her eyes, because he’s being ridiculous - has always been so, allison thinks, when it comes to them. so she invades his space, like she’s prone to do, and curls her hand around the back of his neck. “i’m not asking you to be my boyfriend. i don’t care about labels. i just want you to give me a chance to show you i can make you happy.” she’s never fought so hard for anyone, never wanted someone so much, in her entire life, the way she wants him. she’s a little hopeless where freddie is concerned. it’s a problem. 

━ the only way freddie knew how to be around allison was to take what he wanted when he wanted it. which - he realized - wasn’t fair to her, but it was how things had always been. his dark blue eyes surveilled her as she moved closer, slipping a hand on the back of his neck. “i know you can make me happy, you’ve had your hand down my pants plenty of times before.” it was sort of a joke, but it was also true. “what about hooking up with other people?”
