buying whole beans and grinding them urself is not worth the effort,, i genuinely think they do taste better, like it cuts out some of the bitterness, but the roast i get is already un-bitter enough that the only upside really (on top of just enjoying putting more effort into my morning) is that whole beans go on sale slightly more often

so second coffee of the day… i had to disassemble and clean my coffee bean grinder for this which took some time, and then guess how fine the grounds needed to be and the amount of beans needed so this was actually far more effort than a regular coffee

but it’s only one shot so it’s weak as hell and not incredibly tasty but that’s progress

(my first coffee was half an espresso shot with a bit of caramel syrup that i made to drink while preparing my 2nd one)
