I don’t really talk about LO’s parents so I don’t know. I’ve probably speculated on her behaviour based on her upbringing, but anything about her parents would be a mix of both Lily and Courtney’s statements.

Am I allowed to nitpick for a second? I realize this isn’t as important as the stuff I usually reblog/comment on but why does Lily seem to struggle with sentence structure?

That second sentence is worded awkwardly. It should be something like “It only took three years for a dictator to rise to power when Avatar Korra was absent!”

Probably not a perfect example but you get the idea. (Doesn’t help that I don’t know much about Avatar either) Lily seems to have this issue in her writing where everything is very blatant and there’s no room for interpretation. Like, you don’t have to say “one of the […] worst dictators” because it’s already assumed that a dictator ruling a peaceful kingdom is bad.

Well, knowing Lily’s history with idolizing dictators if they’re hot and align with her philosophies, maybe that does need spelling out in her mind…

I’ve been going through the trouble of archiving all of Iris and Kiera into Pastebin for that one user who was requesting it and… damn.

I kinda wanna rework this shit.

Before you get your panties in a twist, no, this is not a fan idea in the vein of “heeheehee here’s Iris and Kiera having a nice day with none of the ableism!! uwu”. What I mean is, I want to take that core concept that Lily unknowingly wrote into her own story of an enmeshed sister keeping her disabled sister at her mercy, refusing her agency with “Iris” working to gain her independence and making THAT the story. Being disabled and having been institutionalized myself, while I had no siblings… I do resonate with Iris on a personal level, even if it’s a version of her I made up in my head.

But if I’m going to do that, it would be under these conditions:

1: I’m not posting it on this blog or tagging it with Lily Crit stuff. I DO want it to stand as its own thing, I’m only being transparent about it here because I felt like if I didn’t I would be accused of plagiarism or “fan behaviour”.

2: Again, to sever all ties, none of the characters will have their same names. It’s not a retelling or an AU, it’s a completely different story utilizing the same framework.

3: I don’t want this to be seen as an ego flex. An “I did it better than you” sort of project. I’ve always loathed when people do that to works by people they deem problematic if we’re being honest (see also: Rainbott). If I’m going to write this, I’ll be doing it because these are topics and issues I want to see put to page in a way I haven’t witnessed.

Unfortunately the only place I think they’ve really been “archived” is Kiwi Farms. You’ll have to go to her thread and search by “Iris” or “Kiera” to find them. Scars is probably the same, but I’m unsure.

If everyone pretty promises not to jump down my throat for even daring to look at that website, I can go in and upload the text to pastebin so the rest of you don’t have to.

I'm completely unsure if this is the right place to ask but over the past month of so on my own time I've been looking into Lily (Mostly her writings), but I haven't been able to find Scars and the Iris and Kiera Saga in any archived way. Is there a place you could possibly point me toward to find them?

In actual school? Yes, service animals and emotional support animals are different things. It really depends on where you go but typically the rule is that service (like navigation or detecting fainting) is allowed while emotional is not.

Like another person said, none of this should matter in a Pokémon context though because Pokémon are allowed practically everywhere. I can’t think of a single place in the games where Pokémon just aren’t allowed to be but a human would be.

I don't think emotional support animals count as service animals and wouldn't be allowed in school but please correct me if im wrong.

Why wouldn't pokemon be allowed in a school, where you would probably be learning about pokemon. In the schools/classrooms we see in the games/shows pokemon are allowed in schools/classrooms so why wouldn't one be allowed here?
