THERE IS. a website. that takes 3D models with seams and pulls it apart to make a plushie pattern and informs you where things need to be edited or darts added for the best effect. and then it lets you scale it and print off your pattern. and I want to lose my MIND because I've lost steam halfway through so many plushie patterns in the mind numbing in betweens of unwrapping, copying all of the meshes down as pieces, transferring those, testing them, then finding obvious tweaks... like... this would eradicate 99% of my trial and error workflow for 3D models to plushies & MAYBE ILL FINALLY FINISH SCREAMTAIL...

Dokomi photo dump now that its over!!

Highlights:

- getting my mandatory bubble tea from my fav boba place of all time.

- @ladytyburn bringing me a framed print of the art i commission for the thankmas event??? I love you. You're amazing and i may have almost sobbed everytime i looked at it. It was sitting on my hotel bedside table as motivation in the morning :). Also the second drawing u did is SO CUTE WTF.

- Taxi driver suggesting tax fraud lol

- taking part in a stamp rally for the first time!!! Also having a bunch of ppl ask to buy the wingull lol, guess i gotta make more of them

Ok now that the aesthetic wholesome stuff is out of the way, lets talk about my fuck ups and bad luck lmao

- due to miscommunication with my booth partner left my table cloth at home. Made do with a cloth that was supposed to cover my sisters booth at night. Not the prettiest but hey better than nothing ahdhdhdhd

- Horrible internet at the whole convention, which was expected, but there also wasnt a public WiFi this year either???

- hotel room smelling like cigarette smoke when we arrived and the hair dryer, bathroom door handle and tv being broken??? Ahddhdhdhh yea not ideal but thats the cheap hotel experience lol.

- forgot to grab the blue yarn that i needed to finish a big wip i had with me with the intend to finish at dokomi. Man. Oh well, finishing it for MEX then lmao

- and of course: getting tonsillitis halfway through the convention. Got through with flu meds, painkillers, mask and tea thankfully.

Thanks for reading my ramble, i had a great time at dokomi despite the chaos and loved meeting a bunch of ppl :3

I've been using their "touching grass isnt enough, i need money." Art constantly as a reaction meme so as soon as i saw theres stickers i had to get one ... And because i have sticker anxiety i got another one as a spare.

Today's Card Is: Snom

Hey kid, look at me.

I want you to T-pose. Turn your right thumb up and your left thumb doen and look at your right thumb. Move your arms up and down a bit until you feel a nerve running from your armpit to your palm. Now turn your right thumb down and your left thumb up, and look at your left thumb. Keep your chest facing forward and your shoulders back. Move your arms again until you feel that nerve again. Keep alternating between these two for a minute, or look at each thumb thirty times each.

Now sit down. Put your left hand firmly under your left buttock, palm down. Keep your shoulders back and put your right hand over the crown of your head, very gently pulling it to the right. Do this for thirty seconds, then do it again but with your right hand under your right buttock.

These are stretches for the nerves in your arms, and are very good for people who sit behind a computer a lot, or fibre artists, or you name it. Do them daily. They will hurt in the beginning, but keep doing them, even after the pain has gone, or it will return and you'll have to start all over.

throwback to my fav socks I’ve ever knit ❤️ I knit these last summer but I can’t have a knitting blog and not have these on it! 🥺 The pattern was already discontinued by the time I found it but I fell in love with them so much that I just had to recreate them as best as I could. Hopefully the pattern is rereleased one day!
