Taylors success has always felt inorganic. As someone who was never a fan of hers. She doesn't have well known song since 2014.

Folklore and Evermore are albums I just recently learned about. If it wasn't for Twitter I wouldn't know them. It's mainly just streaming it so it charts. And falls of later. Her most recognizable and known Songs outside the fanbase are: Lovestory, I knew you were trouble, We are never getting back together, Shake it off. " All songs that are atleast 10 years old. So how come she is seemingly more famous now. What has happened that they start acting like she belongs to the same category like Mj or the Beatles. I feel like being gaslighted honestly. I'm on Twitter and you see these billboard stats or whatever posting the top 10 songs and you see a whole taylor swift album. and people outside of her fanbase have never even heard of these songs. her songs just stay within her fanbase but they don't have the appeal to gross outside of it. She's gonna end up being the artist with the most unknown number ones.

idk if she sold her soul. because there is no way you become this popular with well.... limited talent. and most of the GP sees her as mediocre. I feel like most of her success is manufactured. they make her look bigger than she actually is. her constantly releasing stuff helps her stay on top and helps the delusion she is the biggest star in the world.

Exactly! Every pop star or musical bands have that one song that describes them or their music. Taylor has popular music like youve stated some, but it isnt her. Its only a song you can listen occasionally and those music wouldnt even fit in this generation which tells her music isnt generational at all.

Popstars like mj which transcended generations! His music is still relevant even today! His music influence is vast and still an inspirational icon! And beatles changed the music industry! Each album resonates with soul and every album is unique and different and listening to it feels so fresh and it came a decade ago….

I genuinely think one of the hardest things as an ex swiftie is actually the fact that most of us really loved Taylor.

We grew up with her she was a big part of all of our lives and it actually hurts knowing all of it was fake.

Like when lover came out I felt seen as a gay person. Like wow my idol advocated for my rights to get married - until I realized to her it was just a trend I guess.

I am seeing alot of criticisms for tay like never before. This album release was the last straw and more people are coming out and calling out her bullshit. Her antics are exposed now and im so shocked at how many things she got away easily bc of her innocent facade she was pulling all this long. Even i was blindfolded.

Incredibly disgusted by her behaviour of her openly claiming racist man and calling her own fans vipers. Im glad some swifties are calling her out. She might have seen the blacklash.
