PnF Spoilers

I found it kinda strange to see Doof and Perry make such a minamal appearance in both episodes. In Attack of the Candace suit, Perry has the lair scene and then nothing else.

In spite of that, I think the new episodes were solid. Attack of the Candace suit was a mixed bag lmao. It felt oddly paced during the last third of the episode and the humour kinda didn't land for me.

However, they did sell the body horror aspect as well as the first Candace suit episode, so there's that.

Also, the song felt very Hamster and Gretel-y? Idk how but it felt more like a HnG song than a PnF song.

High B tier episode.

Book Flub I liked a lot more.

My biggest problem with this batch was Dan overselling the episodes but I still think Book Flub was close to being worth the hype imo.

The role reversal was pretty nice and it felt great to see Linda and Candace actually do something together. Irving's inclusion was appreciated too.

It feels weird watching the episode and already knowing all the lyrics to the song :D

Also, this marks the first time ever a member of fireside troop 46321 would appear independently of Isabella. Nice!

A tier episode. Not quite A+ though.

Next week is mantis Fact, we finally get to see the episode that hosts the song

rewatching at2d and i just love how when pnf are asked who they are in the 2nd dimension phineas responds with "we're candace's brothers!" like not a single thought to say oh im phineas and thats ferb. he just assumes that everyone knows candace because he doesnt see why they wouldnt since shes so important to him. he loves his sister so much. the flynn-fletcher siblings mean so much to me
