Daredevil: Dark Nights #1 by Lee Weeks and Lee Loughridge

    Someone recently drew my attention back to this very informative panel from Lee Weeks’s Daredevil: Dark Nights story. Previously, I’d been so distracted by the fact that it gave Matt a definitive birthday (October 21st, which I’m pretty sure is also Lee Weeks’s birthday) that I failed to notice that it also gave him a definitive height: six feet, one inch. This makes perfect sense and fits the existing information. The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe puts Matt’s height at six feet exactly, and the Marvel Wiki claims he’s five-foot-eleven. While Matt has always been drawn tall, this kind of plot-irrelevant data has always seemed a little arbitrary (the heights and weights provided in these sources for female characters in particular have tended to be pretty unrealistic). But this is, as far as I can remember, the only time Matt’s measurements have been mentioned in-universe, which makes it worth pointing out, and also a little more official.  

    That address is a bit weirder, though. The 10016 zip code puts him squarely in Midtown, on the East Side, but I’m fairly sure there’s no Lincoln Street there. Maybe there is in the Marvel Universe.

"how did kirsten know where to send 911?" my silly headcanon is that kirsten has matt on find my friends - it started after murdock & mcduffie, cause before that he would have been daredeviling. at some point she got fed up with matt disappearing or showing up late to things and somehow extorted him into letting him track her (which he's ok about because, again, he's no longer daredevilling). cue other people in their life calling kirsten like "where the fuck is matt" cause only she knows, and she sighs and checks her phone
