So this is where I am. Another tooth broke and eating has been increasingly hard since, until I've just realized... I can't manage solid food. I am out of liquid meal replacement drinks. If anyone could help, even $5 or a little commission, it would mean so much.

I today things accomplished

Five grain moths died at my hand (they are adorable, OUTSIDE my house and not eating all my cereal), so did a ton of fruit flies (they are NEVER adorable) and I FOUND WHERE THEY WERE BREEDING, I signed up for more possible free meals that my friend sent me, and I filled a trash bag. Sure, I was shaky and winded at the end, but I Did It.

I've got more things to accomplish later, too. Oh, add to the accomplishment list, just swiped an ant off my arm. Ants are not cute.

Another thing I'm accomplishing today, actually joining the Ko-fi promote challenge. i don't know if I'm doing well. I'm trying to do well!

Admittedly a share of that $1000 pot would be so delicious in the form of a meal. I am so hungry.

Oh cool I haven't even been posting and apparently my blog is 9 years old. Honestly guys, please forgive me, I am not got at social media. I got no clue how this works. Why would a bunch of people want to hear what I have to say? I've never understood. Discord, IRC, yeah, that works for me. Putting it out there and hoping... that everyone wants to read it? [confused head tilt] I don't have a platform, I don't have something I want to try to change in the world. I'm just me, living life, flying where I can. I'll reblog bugs. I'll post pictures of my own bugs, which may be arthropods or they may be "guys I broke pickaxes again". (I'm going to start that. That's going to be a tag.)

I mean, at least I know that if anyone's watching me, it's probably because they care and are people I know. (You know who you are. You. Hi. I care about you too.)

I found help

tl;dr if you need help, https://findhelp.org/ actually has help. Navigating support programs, government "aid", charity outreach, mutual aid funds, and all other things that one needs when they are completely in need of help, is a nightmare, exhausting, and seems designed to be unintuitive. I've spent a little over a year now discovering this, more and more, as each lead turned out to not give enough or not be for me (specific age group? specific denomination? not just 'people', ever), or turned out to actually not be what was advertised at all... Well. Today I found https://findhelp.org/ and I actually found help. The biggest part of my problem is that I don't have my GED, because my time had to go to caring for my mom through cancer, not education. I did what I could (so far the lessons are recapping what I know, with weird techniques that make math slower?) but of course, society doesn't see that, they just see what one is lacking. It's really hard to get to GED classes when you do not have a car, do not have income to get a car (or moped, or bike), and the most frustrating part was when the people I spoke to at GED programs could not seem to comprehend the simple phrase "I have no means of getting to you." "Okay, well, we can just make an appointment for next week, and you can let us know if you can't be there?" Like, lady, I just said I cannot get to you, were you listening to a different thing? So it was a tremendously amazing thing to actually find an online GED program, which was not findable through Google when I searched each time, that's free, remote, whenever I have time instead of strict times that my health may not be able to handle, and completely without judgement. I've still got to get through until I can complete this, and somehow get transportation to the actual GED testing center, but having completed a free class and practice test, I'll know I'm not spending money and time on an exam I will just fail and have to do it again. A meal, maybe several meals, down the drain. So yeah. My catch-22? It may have just broken. I sincerely hope, because art commissions is not feeding me, nor paying the bills, and I'm about to lose heat, internet and water. I'm hungry, please commission me

I usually have a weekend sale every weekend. (I didn't mention it here because I wanted to spotlight my friend's GoFundMe, not myself.) But this week I didn't get enough and I'm extending my usual sale until I acquire enough for food. For the moment, every type of commission is 50% off. Illustrations, pixel art, builds, even Minecraft mods. Buying anything will feed a hungry dragon. If you know of anyone who might be interested please tag them! If you have any advice for getting a Real Job when you have no transportation and live in an area where public transport is crud, please tell me! I am so proud of everyone who sticks to their guns and makes a living doing art because that's what they choose, but for me, this is What I Can Do while I look for a job. This is not what I want to do for a living. I want to write, I want to program.
