Why Did I Choose My URL: In ancient Greek myth, the Anemoi were wind gods with their own special directions. As an artist, I go where the proverbial “inspirational wind” takes me :)

Wheatley x Newton fanfic

okay enough of using all lowercase it’s time to make words go

They sat together on the bed for a long time, Wheatley trying his hardest to breathe evenly. Newton held his hand the entire time, for every time lightning struck, Wheatley would scream quietly, kicking in a random direction. His instinct was to run, that’s what he usually did when danger was present.

“Wheatley, it’s okay, it’s just lightning!” Newton whispered. Both of them were talking in such low voices because Newton’s digital clock read 1:27 AM.

“S-Sorry,” Wheatley apologized. “I’ve never been in a thunder storm before.”

“Ah, right, you were in Aperture for so long...”

“B-But I’ll try not to get too scared! I promi-”

CRASH!

Wheatley squeaked again, but his movements weren’t so exaggerated this time. He didn’t kick as hard as he had a couple minutes ago.

“It’s okay,” said Newton, holding Wheatley’s hands in his. Wheatley blushed at his touch, and he snuggled into Newton’s bed even further.

Newton felt nice, he could smell lavender and cinnamon, and the light bulb just seemed to radiate heat. In all honesty, he was getting a little drowsy.

“Are you gonna try and relax now?” Newton asked. Wheatley nodded, closing his eyes, trying to think about nothing.

He had trouble doing it, even though his thoughts were no longer on the storm, but only because Newton’s arms were wrapped around him in a warm embrace, and in no time at all, he was asleep.
