Hey No Straight Roads fans!!! Can you believe that the game's 5th anniversary will be on August 25th this year? It's been a wild ride along the way. You know what would make things better in 2025? A collective of artists and writers coming together to make an NSR FANZINE CELEBRATION!!!

Inspired by the grungy underground rock zines of the 70s and onward, this zine will be provided for free and simple enough for fans to print and fold at home. All kinds of art will be accepted, not just 2D drawings but letters to Metronomik, poems, collages, maybe some scanned linocuts or battle-jacket patches, whatever your musical minds can think of! And we need a creative community to make all that happen (I mean, we could do it ourselves, but that's no fun). So what are you waiting for? Let's rocketok!

Applications close on February 1st, though if you miss the deadline don't sweat it; just send an ask before August 10th and we'll contact to fit you in if there's room. We want to accommodate as many fans as we can!

This was one of the first NSR fanarts I ever made in 2020 and was my pfp for the longest time. Elliegator is a fav character of mine and singlehandedly gave me a special interest in crocodilians.

Obligatory croc facts: Ellie's sounds are based on the calls baby crocodylians make to communicate with their parents. She also more closely resembles a tomistoma, a Malaysian native relative of gharials, than an alligator! It's unclear if this is for localization purposes or not.

Here's my part for the Griffia multi-animator project!

It was my first time finishing 3D models, texturing, animating, camera work, the whole shebang; so this was a huge learning experience and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to be involved in a special project for an ARPG I hold near to my heart!

I can't wait to tinker with 3D and mixed media more in the future, this was such a blast (even if the learning curve frustrated me a lot lol)

Been mulling over my animalistic identity a lot lately, it's been with me since I was a kid and I think otherkin seems like a fitting label for me. Couldn't decide on one animal for a kintype/sona so I just combined all my quirks into this weird jerboa dragon mimic thing lol

shoutout to a discord buddy who went "what if loboto was adopted by otto mentallis" and I interpreted that as "he was placed in a foster home before he could get lobotomized and otto became his psychic dad at the motherlobe and nothing bad happens to him ever"
