I rub my eyes and begin to realize how tired I've really become. A yawn manages to escape, bringing with it an involuntary full body stretch. "You know what Maggie? I think you're right." I walk over to the couch and lay down. "I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to stay here just on case she wakes up and freaks out again."

I was taking my morning stroll through the woods when I came across an oddly familiar creature. "Maggie is that you?" Upon closer inspection, I discover Maggie has taken up a beastly appearance.

Maggy looks over when she herd her name. “Phoenixe?” She smiles a bit and walks over.

I walk out of the guest bedroom astounded. "I've never seen another human heal themselves like that, let alone to have their body reject my healing."

I carry her up to the guest bedroom and as I do, I use my heat in an attempt to heal her, only to fail. I look down and watch as the dirt and grime I thought was there as a result of lack of hygiene begins to move from wound to wound healing her as she slumbers. I stop in my tracks and stare in awe.

As you walk away, I stride over to the little girl and pick her up. Upon closer inspection, I notice her hands and feet are all cut up and dirty. Calloused from what I can only assume to be caused by an extended trek through the wilderness. From up close she smells like the meadow we just came from. I wonder what could have cause someone so skittish to decide to follow us.

I think she may be one of my kind. But we can't be too sure." I turn to look at you. "We have to be careful. Let her calm down, and then we will approach her."

She steps back and begins to cry. The roo. Trembles as she does, through the window you can see vines climbing up the sides of the house. Her makeshift clothing turns into mud and falls to the floor to reveal a green blouse. She sits in the corner rocking back and forth, absolutely terrified.

I turn around to help you and a little girl with brown hair, green eyes, and olive skin comes bursting through the door, clothed only in leaves and vines that seem to be growing from her body itself. She's covered in mud and out of breath.

I stare off into the dawning sky, colors of blue, orange, red, and purple spreading across the horizon as the sun rises. "I have had a long one, and now I grow older and experience the aches and pains that come with aging."
