Social media has a lot of benefits it helped a lot of families. For example in the show Kapuso mo jessica soho (KMJS) People are finding their lost family member, but in the use of Tiktok and the TV show KMJS she found her long lost sister. Social media truly helped by speeding up their search for its location.

Social media can help social workers to provide information. They can post it on Facebook or they can broadcast it. Or they can radio it. And it will get to the people easily. For example when pandemic started we cant go outside so social workers used technology and social media to give advice on how to improve health, instead facing them one by one they can just post it in the Facebook page.

During calamities social media give a lot of help for example during Yolanda typhoon news and reports are everywhere giving updates where the typhoon will hit. News are all over the social media saying that people needs to evacuate because yolanda is a big typhoon. When yolanda hit tacloban there were a lot of dead people and missing families but in the use of social media it helped to update the people what happened during yolanda and what happened to the victims.

Back when people are not into social media and its just word of mouth it was very difficult to give mass information because word of mouth can be different depends on who are you talking to. And it needs a lot of effort to give important information to the people. Social media nowadays makes it more easier, for example you can talk to your family abroad you just need a Facebook. In the past you need to find a telephone and it has time limit. This evidence proved that social media has helped a lot of people spreading news. But people, seriously too much use of social media can destroy us.
