random things i think about IWTV in my daily life because i'm obsessive

Claudia in S1 says that food doesn't taste good anymore when you're a vampire. So much (spoilers season 2) so that Madeleine has one last glass of wine before the transformation and complains about dying without tasting fine wine. But they SMOK like hell, does it have any effect on them? Because Louis needed other people to take drugs so he could take the blood and get high, i wonder if smoking does anything for them or they just do it out of habit and or i don't know it's something pleasurable in some way

i love that Armand said he didn't have lines for Lestat in the play because you don't write a hurricane, but they kind of tried to keep Lestat in a script, HE JUST ESCAPED FROM IT in a few moments.

imagine Armand's real face when Lestat began to tell the love story of him and Louis and him "We kissed at an altar, he agreed to be my companion and live with me for eternity" and Armand yearning for death

man, how different Claudia's transformation scene looks in Lestat's eyes... i forget that Louis is not a reliable narrator, he forgot and changes facts. Lestat also lied, but his version has much more detail

the difference of Louis POV and Lestat POV

in "she's going to be what? A lapdog?"

Lestat appears to be mocking Louis in the first scene, whereas to him he was sad, but serious, perhaps hurt by Louis leaving the house

she can't save her, but she chose to be her companion even if it meant dying for the second time

I literally cannot overstate how important creative hobbies are when dealing with mental illness. If you can’t draw, there are coloring books. If you can’t write a novel, you can write in short journaling bursts. If you can’t sing in the shower, you can listen to music. Sometimes with mental illness it feels like we have this dark presence inside of us that is bumping around in our brain and organs, causing problems. It helps immensely to let it out.
