What is Sineater's job? Does she become a maid?

Her occupation is actually as an in-house nurse! But I suppose she might as well just be a maid. She treats physical injuries fine enough even though she's technically a fake nurse. She sees Mey-Rin quite often lol and is the likely person to give specific instructions to Sebastian when Ciel falls ill since he doesn't trust her.

She likes posing as a nurse because it's easy to prey on dying souls and the deceased, it also looks comforting to the dying to see her in that outfit. When she's not wearing this and is kinda idle in public she wears her mourning dress to not be disturbed.

The inspiration behind this idea was Florence Nightingale actually.

I have the one and only 24 karat gold Sebubu. Now, this is real 24 karat gold made in the form of a Sebubu. Now, he weighs 200 grams. It cost us £20,000 to have him made. They melted down, basically, gold bars and they put it into a shaper thing, that was the shape of a Labubu. Um, obviously this little tassel here - that is just a gold bit of material, but the ring is also 24 karat gold. Now the reason we had one made into 24 karat gold is because they are going so viral all over the internet, we think that his worth will definitely, definitely skyrocket. So, here he is - he is the golden one, he is the chosen one, and he is 24 karat gold Sebubu.

I love how versatile dadbastian is a concept. like I think a lot of ppl look down on it because they think its a fluffy, wholesome interpretation of sebastian and ciel's dynamic which sanitises the dark tones of the manga. but in my experience Wholesome Dadbastian is mostly just a thing in memes and art/fics which are set in modern AUs. there are so many ways to portray dadbastian that aren't just strictly wholesome. for example:

Manipulative dadbastian, where Sebastian is deliberately performing a fatherly role to make ciel trust him.

toxic dadbastian, where Sebastian is raising ciel to be evil like him.

accidental dadbastian, where Sebastian has a sudden realistiation of 'oh shit I've basically become this kids father how did that happen'. I especially love the idea of this dynamic during the early days of their contract

reluctant dadbastian, where Sebastian is very much aware he's acting like a dad and doesn't really want to

angsty dadbastian, where Sebastian becomes attached to ciel and acknowledges paternal feelings, but knows that he will eat his soul anyway and feels guilt/regret over it

One sided dadbastian, which could be from either character's perspective and can tie in really well with the other interpretations. such as ciel subconsciously starting to see sebastian as a father figure, not realising that it's all just manipulation. or sebastian harbouring genuine paternal feelings for ciel while ciel doesn't see their relationship that way at all

in conclusion, dadbastian can be as dark or as wholesome as you want it to be, so it's completely fine to enjoy certain interpretations of it and discard others. but personally I will eat up absolutely any portrayal of this dynamic because I love the endless possibilities with it

Maleficent (2014) but it's a Black Butler Dadbastian AU

(please bear with me I haven’t watched the film since I was in like, sixth grade lmao)

okay where to start uhhhhh

Okay right off the bat, Sebastian is Maleficent

Like, it can’t get anymore simple than that really.

He’s got the vibe (somewhat), he’s got the style (sorta), he’s got the raven/crow thing (kinda)

Just replace Maleficent’s dragon form with Sebastian’s true demon form

And the sleeping curse cast by Maleficent saying that Aurora would prick her finger on the spinning wheel when she turns sixteen and stuff?

That can also be somewhat paralleled to Sebastian’s contract to steal and consume Ciel’s soul in Black Butler canon

(Idk if that part is gonna be in this AU or not but just an observation)

ok anyway-

the role of Aurora is gonna be played by Ciel

And his false name (like how Aurora was called “Briar Rose”) would probably be whatever his real name in canon probably was

Probably something like “Sirius” or “Astre” or something. “Sirius Astre” maybe?

I talked about this AU concept with my good buddy @eemoo1o-animoo and they suggested that Ciel liked playing “lord” as a child (since he was cursed by Sebastian he was raised as a peasant by three incompetent servants–I mean, fairies.)

By the way, yes, the fairies are being played by the Phantomhive servants (Finny, Mey-Rin, and Baldroy) because there's literally no reason why they shouldn't be. It's too perfect of a role for them to not be casted in.

And so when Ciel finds Sebastian in the woods he makes him go along with it, maybe having Sebastian call him “my lord” and stuff.

I’d imagine he’d get annoyed with following his incompetent guardians’ parental orders, so he’d want to be the one giving orders for once, even if it’s just a little pretend game.

And who the prince is gonna be you may be wondering?

No one other than my girl Lizzy of course

I mean, she’s not only got a sword in canon, but she’s also engaged to him

Just like how Philip is betrothed to Aurora in the source material
