Top tier hualian moments is when Hua Cheng gets a little to confident and comfortable in flirting and says something very ballsy (Gege want to get married?) and then sees Xie Lian explode and immediately he starts back tracking and despite the fact the book is all Xie Lians POV you can feel him hitting his head off a wall in his mind. This is then made even better when they get married and he realises Xie Lian isn’t freaking out in a bad way but in an error 404 way and immediately loses all shame about it. I know he wrote Y/N fanfic he was living in his scenarios I just know it.
