Hello Sour Milk! I got small (probably not important) questions that I'm curious about. How old are MC and Adisorn? (I'm guessing early 20s) What university year is MC out of how many and what major? Is the action happening in America? Is Adisorn also in university or has a job? That's all for now.

Adisorn is 27. I imagine the MC is somewhere between 20 and 30 but it’s up to your interpretation. I also leave the year of the university as well as major up to your, player’s, interpretation!

The game indeed does take place in America, specifically in Minnesota.

Adisorn has graduated with a degree in IT and works now.

I’m not entirely sure yet but I’m aiming for 10-15$ depending on the quality and length of the final game. And, just like with MS!H, I will lower the price for countries with weaker currencies (on Steam, as Itch does not have that option). Thank you for enjoying my work 🫶

Hi! This isn’t meant to pressure you or anything but do you know how online obsession will be released? Like episodically or full release? Also if you have a time frame (no pressure!)

Online Obsession will be released as a full paid game on Steam and Itch. I will host a last wave of beta testers before the full release to test out the game, after which it will come out. I am actively working on the game every day, and I'm hoping to release it this year. However, I cannot promise anything as there are a lot of complications with my personal life and health. I will keep everyone informed and announce the date of the release whenever I am sure!

i played the online obsession demo (amazing game!) and i found in the dialogue, it takes place in Minnesota..? and seeing how the teddy's table diner is in both online obsession and my sweet! housemate, do they take place in the same area?

Excellent question! Teddy's Table Diner is a chain of diners across the US in my and @ghost-realms's universe. While Online Obsession takes place in Minnesota, MS!H actually takes place somewhere in California. I really like creating fake brands and building off them, so it's something that will likely unite all of our future games (shared universe and brands, media etc.)

Hello ! Very important question !! Are Adisorn's eyes purple in-universe or is it just stylistic choice and they're like, brown? His eye color...want definitive answer,, Please and thank you ! [ 🍋 ]

His eye colour is black/dark brown, as is his natural hair! I tend to add highlights of often unnatural colours when I draw eyes as a stylistic choice. You're free to interpret it whichever way you want, though (either black/brown or this purplish shade).

☀️MY SWEET! HOUSEMATE: TRANSLATIONS & SUMMER SALE 

Thanks to our extremely talented translator Silvia Saorín Miralles, My Sweet! Housemate will now have an official Spanish translation. We deeply appreciate Silvia Saorín's efforts and hope that you all will too!

Both the full game and the demo now have Spanish as a language option, you can change it from the main screen or in the settings at any point.

🌊SUMMER SALE:

Steam is currently having a 30% off summer sale, so we will be bringing this 30% off to Itch as well to honour the Steam sale and to celebrate the release of the Spanish translation.

🍨Fixes:

There was a bug where sometimes achievements wouldn't properly sync between the game and Steam. It has now been fixed.

We have changed some fonts to allow the players to enter names with special characters.

We touched up Alisha's sprites.

We have also fixed some typos.

We want to say thanks once again to our amazing Spanish translator Silvia Saorín, and to all of you for supporting our silly game!

We are also happy to announce that there will be a Brazilian Portuguese translation of the game soon!
