I always have to check in on the Burrowing Owls when I’m out at Antelope Island. There are so many of them there now, I could spend an entire day watching them.

The orb weaver spiders are back in full force on Antelope Island. I’m not a big fan of spiders, but they are cool to photograph. They do help with all the annoying biting bugs on the island, so I don’t mind them at all.

Make a wish. My granddaughter Jovie enjoying a summer day. Hard to believe she will be 8 in a couple of weeks.

Met my newest grandchild yesterday. Holding a new baby washes away all the stress of the day. Mom and baby were doing great and will come home later today.

I watched this pelican fight with its catch for about 15 minutes before finally swallowing it whole. The Carp put up quite a struggle.

First Swainsons Hawk I have captured in a while. It was a good biding day Saturday at Lee Kay ponds. I finally got some pics of a Short Eared owl as well. Still sorting through those.

Classic Mopar color “Plum Crazy” on display at a local car show this past weekend. I always loved this color as a kid.

In the fall of 2023 I got the chance to visit the wild mustangs during a sunflower super bloom. I have been out to the west desert to photograph the Onaqui herd, this was a first and made for some beautiful shots.

It’s going to be a scorcher here in Utah today. Our first day in triple digits. Thought I would post a little something to keep you cool today. Fall in Bryce Canyon from 2020. The first snow of the season and it really made the hoodoos stand out.

I took a little stroll through some older vacation pics. The hike to The Wave in Arizona was quite the adventure. We had a mix of all kinds of weather, the snow was a bit of a surprise but it made for some cool pictures.

A little up close and personal with a bison. I shot this on my last visit to Antelope. I had to wait for the road block to clear as there were three bison crossing the road
