Poison and Hallucinogenic lipstick

So did you ever sat down and thought about the fact that Rivers lipstick is hallucinogenic for every kind of species? Time Lord, Human, what ever? Did you ever thought about the fact that Rivers (old) lipstick is poisonous for Time Lords?

I just did and I think I’m a little bit sick right now!

Let me explain: The fact that her lipstick works on everyone is, I think known by everyone. Also known is that she was wearing a poisonous lipstick during „Let‘s kill Hitler“ so she could kill the Doctor. Time Lord killing lipstick is probably able to kill a lot of other species. Also, there are probably other versions of the hallucinogenic lipstick, that can influence the Doctor.

What I want to say is this: The doctor is a Time Lord. If we look at Rivers DNA, what do we find? Time Lord DNA. So the Lipstick should be poisonous for River, right? Because let’s be real, a poison that is able to kill a Time Lord, is probably not stopped by human DNA.

So, we established that the lipsticks should both kill River and made her see hallucinations. The thing is it does not!

Now go on and think about why… and here is the point where I get sick.

The only way River should and could be able to survive this kind of poison and not get hallucinations is that she has a tolerance for both the poison and the hallucinogenic.

Next question: How did she get it? Answer Kovarian.

That woman probably gave River small portions of the hallucinogenic and the poison over the hole time River was living under her „protection“.

I want once more to point out that especially the poison is designed to kill a Time Lord. So it is fucking lethal. The hallucinogenic works, a far as we know on every species existing. Imagine how lethal that one is.

So now, Lady’s and Gentleman let‘s sit down and imagine.

Imagine a three/four years old River, who just got the hallucinogenic for the first time. Just a small, just a tiny bit of hallucinogenic. She has no idea, because I can not imagine Kovarian would tell her what’s happening. I also can not imagine that it would be a nice hallucination. So let’s imagine River, sweet, small River, who’s nightmares suddenly come true. Who’s deepest, darkest fears come to hunt her. She is ill for days, just laying somewhere in a corner, as a small ball. Crying and screaming and begging, that it stops. Begging for help.

After hours, maybe even a day it stops, and she is back in her room. Nothing there, but Kovarian, sitting in a chair looking at her, disapproving. Saying something along the lines of „What did I say about being weak?“ or „I thought you would be stronger.“

Imagine four years old River, exhausted, afraid, tired, hungry and thirsty, willing to do everything so this will not happen again, promising to be better. Imagine Kovarina smiling and pointing at a glass of water and something to eat, saying „We will see.“

The hallucinogenic is in the food and the water.

Imagine little River Song having nightmares and hallucinations for weeks. With only small moments of peace in between the moment, the hallucinogenic stops working and the dose.

After a month or two the hallucinations become weaker and weaker, so suddenly Rivers training starts again. Imagine little River Song learning martial arts, while being under the influence of the hallucinogenic. Learning to shoot only hours after Kuvarian increases the dose.

By the time River is six it stopped working.

That leaves us with the poison. It can‘t be healthy to have a mix of Time Lord killing poison and this special hallucinogenic in once body, right? Especially, if said body is that of and almost six years old child. Even Kovarian knows that, so she waits until River almost stops responding to the hallucinogenic, before she uses the poison. The dose is smaller than the first hallucinogenic one, but at the same time it is much more potential.

River is ill for days. Her stomach hurts. Her hearts beat to fast and her limps stop working in almost regular patterns. She hurts everywhere. Breathing hurts, moving hurts, thinking hurts. Everything hurts, but she continues. She continues her training, even doe she wants to puke permanently. By the time she is seven the poison starts to weakening for the first time. It is also the first time she is forced into the space suit.

So imagine seven years old River Song in that space suit, in pain, because there is a poison in her blood, able to kill one of the most powerful races in the universe, locked in that space suit.

Imagine that and tell me you‘re not about to puke!
