A week before the Champion Cup begins, Leon comes home to spend some time with his family. But on top of hanging out with Hop, Leon has a special surprise in store for his little brother - if Hop chooses to accept it.
Hop and Leon’s relationship in Pokéspe is really fascinating to me, and I started writing this fic as a way to explore the unique aspects of it. At some point it turned into this massive beast of a story because I love writing them so much. After languishing in editing hell for months, I think it’s finally ready to see the light of day. I hope you enjoy it <3

So, when his little brother finally sets off on his own Gym Challenge, Leon thinks it’s only fair that he return the favor.
In honor of the anniversary of the day I wrote my first SwSh fic, I’ve decided to start posting this fic that combines my two great loves - Pokéspe and the Postwick bros. Enjoy! <3

Sun isn't big on gifts. Moon knows this. It's why she only gives him presents on Christmas and his birthday.
Moon isn't big on gag gifts. Sun knows this. It's why every gift she gives him is thoughtful or useful.
So, from an objective standpoint, the spontaneous decision to buy a laser pointer and give it to Sun as a gift is a terrible idea. Moon almost turns around and returns it to the store several times on the way home.
But in the end, the look on his face when he opens the present makes it all worth it.
