just talkin about assignmentz

I got a really (REALLY) good mark on the first of these 16 page assignments, and that’s great but I’m also now like... this next one will absolutely not live up to that, LMAO. And that’s FINE. I missed a really crucial class on campus in week 8, and then my attempt to catch up yesterday essentially went to waste, so I just have to hope that I can do it successfully on Monday.

I’m really nervous about how I’m going to finish this all up by Friday 14th, alongside all my classes next week. But I don’t want to get an extension, either - last week I handed in an assignment two days late, and it seriously threw off everything so bad. I don’t want to entertain the idea of an extension, because all my courses are starting up on like phase three final assignments and I dont want to drag this one along into that. But I hate the idea of this one being late/marked down for lateness, too... augh...

tonight I’m working on compiling it all, and it’s going okay. my prev. assignment had a lot of inane chatter and footnotes, and that can go either way depending on who is marking, but evidently my lecturer really liked it haha... I’m trying to actually write smarter right now, both in terms of time and content, and that means no chatter but I hope it’s still well received...

overall I think I have the notes and images already to get like, an acceptable mark, I just need to put it all together, which ... I mean that’s literally why my other work was two days late last week, because I lost my whole mind trying to format it, but this one, is, not going to be THAT bad, but it’s still a huge thing I need to set aside a lot of time for. So long as I can make the last thing, on Monday & Tuesday. I’m not quite stressed-stressed but I’m just like... I can feel the stress coming, if anything goes wrong, haha.

I also need to edit the images a bit + make some accompanying diagrams. + although I have notes on the design iterations, I need to do the reflections in the specific format (that I hate and keep putting off doing). But I think some notes I already have can be, like, put into that format, so it might not. be too bad. I think it will all be more formal, less flavourable, less evidence of like ‘further learning’ or experimentation, BUT, still... acceptable.

Auuugh I just need to get it done, I do, because then I’m like, clean slate, can start on 4 whole other assignments to work on til the end of semester akldjfdfs. I’m really keen on all of them but I actually really need to like. sort out my approach to them.
