「U n t i t l e d - Fatui Harbingers x reader 」part 2
you've worked on the underground district ever since your mother passing. Not knowing who your father was, you didn't have anyone to support you but yourself.
You took the same job your mother did, save a part of the money you earned for emergencies, and only payed for your necessities.
Danger has already been part of your life ever since you were born. Life could've been more meaningless but you lived out of spite. You wanted to beat the hell out of your bastard father and ask for all his wealth as a compensation for his unpayed child support and your mother's passing.
However none of that mattered since a new door opened right in front of you dangling a tempting offer, you just couldn't resist.

Part 1, Part2, Part3, part 4
You've woken up to a bright sunny day but it never meant it was a good thing. You still woke up to your boring apartment, with little to no entertainment nor roommate to greet you goodmorning and perhaps have breakfast made ready for you.
You knew it was safer that way, no relations with other people who might also get in trouble because of your dangerous life. You can hide yourself from people and there's only limited information about you. You barely post anything in your social media accounts— the one you use only for messaging your group from work, you don't talk to people and you limit yourself going out to entertain yourself, and you avoid standing out.
One of these days, you go out to buy your breakfast at Zenith then hang around at Abythòs till your shift comes— usually Donna, one of the morning shift servers, asks you to help around to clean up. Regulars in Abythòs visits around late noon and it gets busy by then so you had enough time to clean up from the stage to the nasty sweat and cum stained seats.
Of course, your boss appreciates your help so he'd have to add a bonus on your payday, especially when you're one of the crowd's favourite.
You entered Zenith and the aroma of brewing coffee and bread immediately sent a weird comfort to your body, it really was something you'd still have to get used to. The pleasant environment is so different from Abythòs you couldn't help but hsve yourself stay and bask in that goodness in your system but you knew that wasn't a good idea.
You went to the counter and bought yourself your usual bread. One of the staff grabbed your bread and had it packed in a paper bag. While waiting, the chocolate donuts displayed at your right side caught your eye.
"Our donuts cost twenty percent less of you bought one of our special drinks today!" The cashier might have noticed you staring at the dessert, she looked knew since you've never seen her before. "Unfortunately, it'll only be available until this afternoon."
"No thanks," You replied. "I'll have my usual coffee though."
"Your... Usual." The newbie repeated, it must've been her first day today. "I have list of orders for our regulars with their usual order... Uh-can I get your name?"
"Look up the name 'Honey,'" You replied.
"I got it. I'll have your drink ready in 5 minutes."
You left the counter and took a seat at the corner, close to the exit but not too far from the counter. You looked around for any suspicious actions. A lady drinking her coffee as she reads her book, a college student doing his research, and a couple being lovey-dovey. Further from your right, near where the other pastries were displayed, a man in his 50s sat staring at you— or perhaps through the window behind you but either way it was making you uncomfortable.
You tried to avert your eyes anywhere but his and distracted yourself by looking through your phone, even if there was really nothing there to entertain you.
Minutes passed, and every second that did felt like it was going on forever, the man stood up and went to the counter and bought the remaining chocolate donuts you were eyeing a few minutes ago then left. Soon after, your coffee was finished.
You were about to pay for your drink but the newbie stopped you, "Oh no, you don't have to pay. The man before you insisted to pay for it and didn't ask for the change."
Oh. You thought. Flashflood of thoughts came in your head overthinking over what happened. Why would he pay for my drink? Do I know him? Does he know me? What are his motives? Have I seen him before?
You couldn't help but reflect your overthinking through your facial expression then the newbie noticed your troubled face.
"He's one of our regulars here!" The newbie tried to ease your worried self. "As far as we know, he hasn't done anything bad... I think."
Her assurance did nothing to you especially when she wasn't even sure of what she was saying. You weren't even sure whether to trust her word that he was one of their regulars.
How did the newbie know which are regulars and those who were not?
In the end, you took her word and thanked her then left. You decided to do your groceries immediately after your shift just to avoid having another encounter with that man.
You didn't know his name and you were afraid to ask the newbie thinking that it's one of their rules to not reveal a customer's name but at least you had a glimpse of what he looked like.
You finished your coffee on your way to work and threw the cup at the nearest trashbin around. You entered through the back door— which was only accessable with a given ID card for staff and personnel, and helped the morning shift group with the clean up.

Author's note:
Looking for beta readers! Only 3 will be needed. Unfortunately, there won't be any pay included, it's all voluntary. You don't have to if you don't want to.
The photo was from tears of themis. The bar was named Abyss, where they also sell drugs as mentioned in the storyline of the game. I gave it the same tone as Abythos but for the sake of my story I had to change the spelling.
Update: will no longer be needing a beta reader!

The Pheonix Emerged From The Abyss PT 3
"W-what..?!" Diluc shouted "You heard me....you've been in here let's say three weeks if you were on the surface that is....so kill me and you can escape....." Skirk charged at him with her hydro blades out only to be countered by a pheonix flying towards her.. she didn't have time to dodge so she ran through the pheonix and began attacking Diluc....
"S-so were dec-declaring Luc missing?!?!" Exclaimed Kaeya who was crying "indeed... we're sorry we couldn't find him" Varka said sadly..... Kaeya cried into Jeans shoulder holding each other tightly.....
Its been days in the abyss since there fight started when it was really four hours on the surface...... Blood and abyssal blood soaks the ground below them....There both covered in open wounds that are likely to cause an infection and bruises...... Skirk was lied on the ground with Dilucs claymore on her neck "how to I got out of here??" Diluc said menacingly.... "Theres and island off the coast of Mondstradt so you just hsve to go right till you see it and we're currently in Sneznaya....." Dilucs claymore was through her throat and her head rolled off to the side.....
He looked right and saw a group of pyro abyss mages and Lectors dead on the ground... He walked his way to the direction and saw a Sneznayan boy layed there with burns and a hydro vision.... "Ironic isn't it??" Diluc thought he just killed his master that was hydro and now this child around a similar age to him with a hydro vision...
He brought the child to his base. Its isn't really 'his' but who else is there to take it for granted? He took the child to a spare room to rest. Its been 2 abyssal weeks and Diluc assumes its been his fifteenth birthday.. "Missing the best part of the year" he told himself... The boy woke up "don't move. Your burns are healing its safer to stay till and let them heal." Diluc commanded "W-where am I??" The boy asked "we're in the abyss. Where archons don't dare to go.." Diluc replied with...
"Before we leave this place in going to train you how to survive this place Incase we come back and its unsefull on the surface aswell" Diluc said "Call me Pheonix or Nix, Your name?" "Ajax" is what he got replied with.. "Well then Ajax... Do you have much combat experience???" "Not really...."
It took a week for him to heal, three to learn how to use all the weapons, five to use his vision, ten to use it in his attacks and twelve to make his own weapons.. Diluc was proud... "Its about time we leave this place..." "..Nix?? "Hm?" "D-do you want to stay with me and my family??" "Sure... Mine probably think im dead by now" it made Diluc happy because Ajax made him feel something unique and different....
