Vidia was doing her best to clear her hand back into the small pouch she currently had tied to her wrist as some sort of makeshift bracelet — swearing under her breath as she gave up and wiped the remainder of the sparkling, yet near translucent in the right light, gold glittering dust from her palm onto the fabric of her shorts. The area had seemed far enough from the more frequented spots in town and also sparse enough that Vidia had felt confident no one was around nor would be around any time soon but yet, there was the not so familiar girl from the cafe she had sat across from not too long back with her now slightly familiar face asking her what she had been doing. And calling it odd looking.

Vidia probably would have normally taken offense and had a bite ready on her tongue to lash out with but the heated flush on her cheeks from being discovered lead to the rare moment of any snark being lost deep down within as she fumbled with the drawstring ties to make sure the pouch was secure on her wrist. “I was uh — ” Needing to clear her breath, there was nothing Vidia could on the spot make up to explain what she had been doing out in the attempted middle of nowhere, varying between tossing up what could look like glitter to an unknowing person and rubbing it on certain parts of herself while rocking from her toes to the balls of her feet on occasion. Nope, not a single cover story fabricated itself in her mind so with mumbled words, Vidia was forced to fess up the truth.

“Fairies can…make small animals fly a bit so I thought maybe I could…I was trying to fly, okay?”
