Just gonna put this out there as a small fyi but this is literally the worst time of year for me, being that it’s nearly my birthday so I get a double dose of both holiday and birthday depression. As such, I’ll probably be very slow here for the rest of the month. I may disappear for days at a time, and drafts are already piling up. I just don’t have the mental energy to write anything with quality and I owe my partners the respect of giving my all in my responses.

Things should get back to normal eventually. I just wanted to post this so the dash is aware of the reason for my absence as of late. Thanks a ton for putting up with me and offering so much support!

Sorry guys, but I’m gonna be deleting and going through my queue to remove any and all content involving Connor and RK900 being even remotely close. This is due to the fact that an anti/bully harassed me personally (as well as others) and has fervently tried to call out and accuse me of condoning incest and it REALLY makes me extremely uncomfortable.

Their allegations are disgusting and wrong, as well as completely misguided on the basis of removing context and twisting narratives to fit their agenda. I will not release their url so please do not ask. I want to move away from their reprehensible actions and the anxiety it has inflicted upon me, as well as combat the damage done by painting my iteration of the RK900 as some sort of abuser. I am usually a forgiving person who is easy going and will step away from those inciting drama, but one thing I will not tolerate is a bully. Even less, I will not tolerate a liar.

I hope for this individuals sake they will seek some form of therapy or anger management as a means of dealing with their own inner demons. I myself will be removing myself from any situation involving bullies, harassment or anything of the like. I know they continue to spread these false rumors about me and I am scared for my own well being and safety in this regard. Anon will be switched off for the time being with no set time on when it will be enabled again.

Please. Fandom, followers, mutuals,, I implore you. If you see a call out online, do your research. If someone tells you a rumor about someone, approach it with caution and skepticism. If you have doubts or questions, speak to the person in a respectful and rational way and be open to facts versus opinions. Cancel culture is absolutely cancerous and false accusations have cost people more than you will ever know - rarely the accuser is punished. Please, I hope this message reaches you and you can find compassion in yourself for others. Don't bully people. Don’t harass people. Be better. This fandom deserves all the positivity and love it can get.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION;

Be better to myself. I think this year should be about self reflection and self care. Go a little easier on myself, take time to work on any issues that arise but also don’t allow others to treat me poorly again. As the years have gone by I’ve realized I have a terrible habit of just letting people walk all over me. I let people get away with far too much and I have a tendency to choose friends poorly.

I’ve already started cutting off the toxic people and removing toxic behaviors from my everyday life that hinder self love and this year I plan to extend that effort.

Be more assertive in boundaries.

Call people out on their bullshit.

Make people aware when a boundary has been crossed.

Learn to be okay with imperfections or work to fix them.

Stop treating myself like I’m an idiot.

Stop self-depreciating.

Perhaps be a little less accommodating to others.

Don’t let people take advantage of me in any way.

Sleep more.

I don’t think the whole “new year, new me” thing is a realistic interpretation of a resolution, but making small personal changes to ones self is completely valid. This is going to be the year of self love and self discipline. I may be here a lot less. I may push myself into writing only when I have time and am in a good head space. This isn’t a job. This is supposed to be the place I come to relieve stress and enjoy my favorite hobby. So I’m going to work towards that, because I deserve it.

Happy 2020. Let’s have another great year!

So in lieu of me deleting the blog, I’ve decided to delete any current drafts & asks I no longer have a muse for. I’m staying strict with my two per mun rule (exceptions, you already know who you are) but as it is I’m going to be re-evaluating everything here & taking it slow. I’m not saying I’m back from Hiatus just yet, but consider this an invitation to plotting & potential work in the future.

Quite a bit, I would say. I’ve learned a lot from experience, bad or good. I suppose the biggest thing is while you can and certainly will make friends, there are always those that will not be respectful. You can’t please everyone and that’s completely okay. Connor is the kind of hopeful idiot that would actually want to talk it out with Skynet, banking on the idea that if it’s a learning AI that can indeed learn more about humans through contact with them, it can learn to respect human life. He’s also the type of brilliant idiot to attempt to interface with it in an attempt to transfer his memories of his better interactions with humans to help logically swap Skynet, and while anticipating it might take advantage of his naivety, pushes forward with ambitious hope, only to get his ass hacked into.

Look, he may be a hyper-advanced, hyper intelligent AI with the latest in social and psychological technologies but I never said he was smart.
