Sincere question: is the Detroit: Become Human roleplay fandom dead? I've noticed that DBH characters have been exceedingly rare these days, OCs as well as canon characters. My dash is relatively empty & I'd really love to follow more active blogs.

So, I wanted to take a small moment to address my reasons for stepping away for a time from this blog. As some of you may know, my elderly father has been quite sick for the last few months, & he was hospitalized a couple times. He’s doing much better now, & I wanted to thank those friends & followers who have reached out. I really appreciate it, even if I feel I haven’t been able to show it lately. This situation has taken a toll on me, but I wanted to let you know that you are seen. Recently, dad has had his surgery & is recovered, however he’s been diagnosed with another complication of diabetes that involves nervous system degradation. As you can imagine, this is troubling news. We’re doing okay as a family & he’s managing it.

Now, for the reason of my temporary absence. Between work ramping up for the fall & soon for the holiday reason, family care & other factors, my mental health took a pretty hard hit. I’ve been powering through it for a while now, but I suddenly hit a wall & I realized just how mentally drained I was. I’ve been taking to self-isolation & dealing with my own physical health issues related to a genetic connective tissue disorder that needs better management. So, for the time being, I’m going to be spending a lot less time inside & more time working on IRL projects & smaller blogs that have a bit of a casual vibe. I’m never abandoning Connor, & I love all of the relationships I & my muses have fostered. I just need a short break. Any activity that comes in will be drafted & I have those unfinished replies in drafts. They won’t be dropped. I promise.
