Current obsession? Absolutely 110% Will freaking Graham, & imma call out @intuitkiller because it’s totally her fault. I mean, I already adored the character enough that I had based my human Connor & Xanders (RK900) reconstruction abilities off of his own, as it made things a lot easier to explain & visualize in a human context. But she just made the character a thousand times more endearing & I cannot help but be totally in love with the lil shit.

No. What reason would I have to be jealous of anyone? We’re all just trying to do our thing & improve ourselves in the writing platform, or using rp as a form of escapism to deal with the real world in a moment of turmoil.

✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?

As I’ve been on the platform essentially since it’s conception, I can tell you it’s changed a lot. I’ve met some amazing people here & I love them all to bits, but some things never change. Bullying, callouts without just cause, anon hate, ghosting and vaguing. Toxic behavior never goes away, it just finds a new manner in which to present itself. That being said, there have been good changes as well. People are able to connect & grow by meeting other people. They can improve themselves as well as their writing. Those Tumblr updates have also been a fresh form of Hell. Bless you, xkit.

☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

Ooh, I have a few. I would say my major one is being straight up ignored or overlooked, ghosted or the like. I totally get it if life things happen. That’s incredibly important to focus on yourself in times like that & that’s reasonable. I have no issue with people taking a break. I do, however, get upset when I’m trying to establish a relationship through interactions with a character & my efforts are ignored or threads are dropped, especially to focus on ships specifically. It’s just rude. I’m of a mentality that if I follow you, I want to write with you.

& listen, I myself am shit with communication. I’m terrible at being the first one to make contact. I’m a nervous idiot whose convinced that I’m a complete bother & every time I attempt to make contact with a mun I’m thinking their response will be ‘Oh great, not this asshole.’ It may or may not be true, but that’s what my anxiety tells me. I’m sure many of us can relate.

That being said, I totally get that others are anxious, too. Life happens. I get spacy. I get really busy & my depression has been a gigantic detriment this past year. But in the context of the question, I want to be open & honest. It upsets me. I had a whole fandom group of about 50+ people all do that to me in one fell swoop & it ended very poorly. Basically, what I’m saying is ‘Don’t be an asshole & give people a chance’. Don’t ignore people. We’re all potatoes here. But potatoes have to stick together.

Thank you so much for your kindness & well wishes! I can’t help but feel immensely flattered & humbled by your words, & while I would never wish to debase them or your feelings I’d argue that I am a whole potato & have no earthly idea what I’m doing. I’m also an overwhelmed ball of anxiety & I do, admittedly, constantly stress over whether I do or don’t give my RP partners & friends enough attention due to IRL factors. This year has been a whole mood & this really did make me feel a great deal better.
