Now I'm thinking of the bit in Watching The Detectives where everyman Cillian Murphy is telling MPDG Lucy Liu "I want to do those things, but just in a little more not insane way. So I'll go nude hang-gliding... but I just don't want to go to bed and then wake up... and find myself in a hang-glider with no clothes on."

Because the joke there is he thought he wanted a MPDG but absolutely can't handle it - but I could see that speech from the other angle, someone older realising for the first time that actually, she might be willing to give some nude hang-gliding a go, with the right person.

Also the vampires only singing Remmick's songs but not songs from their respective communities even tho he preached about love and unity. Remmick speaking Cantonese only to threaten the Chinese shop owner.

The vampire hivemind being a metaphor for how White supremacy erases the uniqueness of different cultures to create the singular culture of whiteness
