Hakujabenzaitensha (白蛇辨財天社) is probably the best Tokyo shrine to visit in 2025, the year of the snake. It dates back to 1322, when a priest built a shrine for Benzaiten after his prayers for rain were answered. Benzaiten is often depicted with a white snake, symbolizing her connection to water, divinity, and protection; but the snakes at this shrine are very prominent. It's located behind the bigger Hebikubo Shrine (蛇窪神社) in Shinagawa. If you go, remember to rub the heads of the snakes in the second photo for good luck.

Oracles of the Three Shrines / Sanja Takusen (三社託宣)
This is one of my favourite teachings and piece of Shinto history. I've always really liked these, so I wanted to share with you all! It has a bit of a controversial history as you can read on the Kokugaukuin entry, but, it's important to note this - "However, even if assuming they were a forgery, the content of the oracles still had moral efficacy.
The oracles were thus not rejected as an effective means of cultivating the morals of the common people such as bringing about a sense of devotion for the kami, and won support from adherents of popular Shinto (tsūzoku shintō), teachers of practical ethics (sekimon shingaku) and persons connected with Buddhism espousing the unity of the three teachings, i.e. Shintō, Buddhism, and Confucianism.
A vast amount of handbooks, picture scrolls and prints were produced for the common people.
Moreover, pious associations (kō) offering dedicatory lanterns (tōrō) to the three shrines were formed in various places.
Faith in the sansha takusen deeply permeated the whole country and did not abate throughout the early modern period.."
(Additionally, many Sanja Takusen shrines for the three Kami-sama were enshrined and established together at particular Jinja, I remember in particular Kibitsu Jinja has a space for them!)
I adjusted the official English translation slighty (you can see the official one on Kokugakuin here) And, I've also included easy to read Japanese and explanation in Japanese as well - courtesy from this website page and the author
These teachings emphasize honesty, sincerity (spiritual 'cleanliness' / clarity), and mercy / compassion
----
Amaterasu Omikami-sama:
"If you plot and scheme to deceive people, you may fool them for a while, and even seem to have profited from doing so. But you will without fail be visited by divine retribution. To be deeply sincere and honest may have people shun you and speak ill of you, but in the end, such a person will receive the blessings of the sun and moon."
Hachiman Okami-sama:
"Follow sincerity without fail. Though one could attempt to eat a red-hot ball of iron, one must never eat food from a person with an insincere heart. Though one might sit above a blazing fire hot enough to melt copper, one must never go into the place of a person of an insincere mind. This is to keep a clear heart."
【八幡大菩薩】
てつがんをしょくすといえども、こころけがれたるひとのものをうけず。 鐵丸を食すと雖も、心汚れたる人の物を受けず。
訳:たとえ、食べ物がなく鉄の塊を食べたとしても、心汚れた人の食べ物は受けるなよ。
Kasuga Okami-sama:
【春日大明神】
"Even though you may see someone of a household who seems to have managed for long to avoid misfortune, the Kami will not enter into the household of a person with a perverse and cruel disposition. On the other hand, even though a man be in mourning for his father and mother*, if he is a man of compassion, the Kami will enter in his home. Compassion is all important."
*[Traditionally, there is an idea someone in mourning would be considered to have kegare, negative energy, bad energy - and therefore the Kami-sama would avoid them and they should avoid the Kami-sama. But the teaching here says even though he is in mourning and may have kegare, his heart is pure and compassionate, so the Kami-sama will enter his home regardless]

how to use 〜じゃん/じゃない "isn't it?"
Tumblr media
if you've been listening to people speak japanese casually, you've probably heard these conversational sentence-final particles! here i'll go over the difference between the two and then give their usages and example sentences. 行こう!
wait, doesn't じゃない just mean "not"?
you would be right about that! but as with lots of things in spoken language, intonation is key here. compare these two sentences in english:
it isn't pretty. (falling intonation)
isn't it pretty? (rising intonation)
clearly, these two sentences mean different things. they use different intonation, but even more obviously, the words come in different orders—in european languages, that's one of the easiest ways to tell a statement from a question. but as we know, in japanese, questions are made without moving words around; so, intonation alone with have to do the job! now, compare these two:
きれいじゃない。 (falling intonation) = it isn't pretty.
きれいじゃない? (rising intonation) = isn't it pretty? / it's pretty, don't you think?
thanks to the rising intonation in the second sentence, instead of negation, we get a tag question. so if you're reading instead of listening, watch out for situations where you might have to guess or intuit what the intonation of the sentence is!
the difference between 〜じゃん and 〜じゃない
in terms of their conversational meaning or usage, these two particles are the same. however, in terms of "indexing" and social cues, じゃん is a bit more casual and じゃない can have a feminine tone. compare these sentences:
きれいじゃん? (casual)
きれいじゃない? (casual, feminine)
きれいじゃないですか? (a bit more polite)
these sentences all feel very conversational, but depending on how you want to present yourself you might pick one over the others.
also, it's worth noting that じゃん only has the conversational usage: no matter the intonation, it can't mean "not" in regular statements (as far as i've seen, anyway!).
what's the difference between 〜じゃん/じゃない and 〜ね?
both these sentence-final particles ask for agreement or confirmation, as in these two sentences:
きれいじゃん?
きれいだね。
both of these could be translated as "isn't it pretty?" or similar. however, the tag question denoted by 〜じゃん is stronger than the tag question denoted by 〜ね. in other words, ending with じゃん is more like an actual question than ending with ね.
for example, if you said きれいじゃん?, you might be expecting your conversation partner to have had some expectation subverted. maybe you're looking at modern art, and they had initially expressed a disinterest in modern art; saying きれいじゃん? leaves more room for them to change their opinion or even to disagree with you.
on the other hand, きれいだね is tantamount to a gentle statement, like you already know your conversation partner will agree with you. you might say きれいだね while overlooking a 絶景 (ぜっけい = superb view) such as 富士山 (ふじさん = mt. fuji) or 琵琶湖 (びわこ = lake biwa). after all, who could ever not find those きれい!
addendum: 〜じゃん with falling intonation
i watch someone on youtube who makes lots of designs in animal crossing, and when she is satisfied with a layout she often says 「いいじゃん!」, meaning "isn't that great!" or similar. but why is she using じゃん if she isn't actually asking for confirmation?
this seems to be an instance of a rhetorical tag question. in particular, the intonation of her いいじゃんs is falling, so it doesn't sound like a question. instead, she's making an exclamation out of a question. this is similar to what we might do in english with an exclamation like "isn't that great!", where we might pitch the sentence as a statement instead of a question. (and, to be totally clear, this person also says 「いいんじゃない?」 a lot too!)
例文 (れいぶん = example sentences)
高(たか)すぎじゃない? = don't you think that's a bit expensive? この辺(へん)は神社(じんじゃ)が多い(おおい)じゃない? = aren't there a lot of shrines around here? 疲れて(つかれて)いるんじゃない? = aren't you tired? (don't you just want to go apeshit?) 全然(ぜんぜん)辛く(からく)ないじゃん? = it's not spicy at all, right? やればできるじゃん! = you can do it if you try! だから言った(いった)じゃん! = it's like i already told you!
summary
in summary, 〜じゃん/じゃない are casual conversational particles you can use to make a tag question like "isn't it?" or "don't you think?", and they tend to have a rising intonation. of course, there are complications and exceptions to everything in language, so keep your eyes peeled and you'll definitely see more interesting usages of these particles!
as always, feel free to send me an ask if you have any questions/thoughts. じゃねー!

Genki 1 Kanji List vs. N5/Kanken 10 List
In this post, I shared the combined JLPT N5 and Kanji Kentei (Kanken) level 10 kanji list. As I'm getting closer to learning all the kanji on that list, I decided it would be a good idea to go through the Genki 1 kanji list to see how many kanji I've learned so far.
Genki 1 has a list containing 145 kanji. Of these, 92 of them are in the N5/Kanken 10 list. That means after finishing TKA's kanji deck, I'll have learned 63% of the Genki 1 kanji! (´▽`*)
Here are the 26 kanji from the N5/Kanken 10 list that are not in Genki 1:
王 玉 目 耳 止 足 字 力 寺 犬 夕 化 花 竹 草 林 森 交 音 問 石 糸 空 村 虫 良
So basically:
118 kanji in the N5/Kanken 10 list (26 kanji are not in Genki 1 list)
145 kanji in Genki 1 (53 kanji are not in N5/Kanken 10 list)
Here are the 53 kanji from Genki 1 that are not in the N5/Kanken 10 kanji list sorted by lesson...
Lesson 4: 曜 Lesson 5: 元 私 飲 Lesson 7: 京 会 社 帰 Lesson 8: 員 新 作 仕 事 思 次 Lesson 9: 家 少 古 知 Lesson 10: 住 買 道 雪 自 夜 朝 持 Lesson 11: 紙 近 明 病 院 映 画 歌 市 所 勉 強 有 旅 Lesson 12: 昔 々 神 起 失 使 働 連 別 度 青 色
... And by JLPT level (based on jisho.org results):
N4: 曜 元 私 飲 京 会 帰 員 新 作 仕 事 思 家 少 古 知 住 買 道 自 夜 朝 持 紙 近 明 病 院 映 画 歌 勉 強 有 旅 起 使 別 度 青 色 N3: 次 雪 市 所 昔 々 神 失 働 連
Most of the above kanji are N4 level, which is great! These are the ones I'll start with once I'm done with the current TKA kanji deck. They haven't released the N4/Kanken 9 deck yet, but hopefully I'll be able to study on my own until then using the same process I've been using to learn kanji meanings:
Look up the kanji on JapanDict.
Find the most common meaning of the kanji.
Find the radicals and components in the kanji and use them to create a mnemonic to remember the meaning. If coming up with a mnemonic is tough, look up the kanji on Kanji Koohi to see what others have come up with.
Write down the on'yomi and kun'yomi of the kanji.
Look up and write down common vocabulary words that use the kanji as well as previously learned kanji only.
Practice writing the kanji in the correct stroke order.
I haven't figured out a defined process for learning kanji readings yet, other than to look up and write down vocabulary words that have kanji I've learned already. I suspect that connecting vocabulary words to their pronunciations will be really difficult at first, but become easier with repeated exposure over time.🤞

Image originally found on this post, thank you to @sag-dab-sar for sending it to me :D I also shared the original post which has good info, this post is just me translating the images themselves, while the other focussed more on giving expanded info.
Translation of Images
Tumblr media
The text to the left of the family praying reads:
"Let's Worship with Two Bows, Two Claps, One Bow!"
The text below the image of a Jingū Taima outside the holder reads:
"Please place this sheet of white paper above drawers and bookshelves to worship."
The text below the image of a Jingū Taima inside a wooden holder reads:
"You can also mount a small kamidana (Simple Kamidana)"
Tumblr media
The text to the right of the family praying reads:
"Even those who cannot set up a kamidana due to living in condos and other housing situations, can worship in this way."
The credit for the illustrations is: Kawada Ken
Way of Worship
Tumblr media
The kanji on the images of the ofuda:
•天照皇大神宮 てんしょうこうたいじんぐう Ofuda for Amaterasu Ōmikami
•氏神神社 うじがみじんじゃ Ofuda from your local shrine (can be local as in closest shrine to you, or a shrine associated with your family)
•崇敬神社 すうけいじんじゃ Ofuda from a shrine you decided to patronize
The translation of the text pointing to 3 white papers stacked on each other going up reads:
When stacking ofuda, the Ise Shrine (Jingū Taima) should be placed in front.
The translation of the text next to those papers inside a wooden structure side by side reads:
When placing them side by side, they are arranged in the order shown on the left.
Offering Examples
Tumblr media
The diagrams show two ways of arranging the basic offerings. Figure 1 (right) has 3 dishes in a row labels (right to left): Salt, Rice, Water. Figure 2 has 3 dishes and two bottles arranged in a square shape. The back row (right to left) is labelled: sake, rice, sake.  The front row is labelled (right to left): salt, water.
Tumblr media
Translation of Bullet Points
Ideally one should put the amulets in a high place above eye level facing from south to east, also, making offerings (rice, sake, salt, water etc...) daily.
If making daily offerings is not possible, it is okay to only put them up on the first and fifteenth of the month.  Put up special offerings to celebrate on important days for family (anniversaries/memorial days) to deepen family ties.
New amulets should be obtained from a local shrine during the New Year's period, and worshiped.
Old amulets should be brought back to the shrine they were obtained from or a local shrine, as a sign of gratitude, to be burned ritually.

Because of that thing where thanking the AI wastes its processing power... I just have this image in my head:
Poor Connor, after deleting redundant social data a hundred times, still can't fix his processing power drain. So he have to go to consult the android expert, Markus (because Hank was like, "I'm not a damn android expert, kid! And I don't need you calculating my damn lunch calories that fast every time.").
The amazing part is: When Connor does a mind-meld call with Markus, his processing power recovers 50%.
When Connor is just physically in the same room as Markus- it recovers 70%.
When Connor holds Markus's hand while walking Sumo- 90% recovery!
And finally, thanks to Expert Markus' dedicated efforts... after some intensive data and physical exchanges... not only did Connor's processing power bounce back to 100%, sometimes it even hits limits beyond even Kamski's wildest dreams (o^^o)

Kenji Muto's Twitter Posts: Part 2
Before and while Tristamp was airing, Kenji Muto made some amazing Twitter posts giving us lore and production tidbits along the way. And while I don't speak Japanese (so I'm going to have to use Google Translate for this, so take everything you read here with a grain of salt because it may be skewed by mistranslation), there was some fantastic art and really cool concepts shared, and I want to archive anything Trigun-related. If I miss anything, let me know!) It starts a little slow with stuff we already know, but there are some interesting tidbits! If anyone who knows Japanese wants to correct anything, please feel free! Now, without further ado...

プラントの力は、空間に開く無数の穴《ゲート》がすべて担っている。 このゲートは大別すると《持ってくる力》と《持っていく力》の二種類がある。 この世ではない別の場所、 別の宇宙なのか、異なる位相なのか、異次元なのか(?)に繋がっているらしいが…。 #TRIGUN #トライガン
The power of the plant is entirely derived from the countless holes (gates) that open in space. There are two types of gates: ``Power to bring'' and ``Power to bring.'' A place other than this world, It seems that it is connected to another universe, a different phase, or a different dimension (?)... #TRIGUN #トライガン
Adding a tid-bit from @pancake-breakfast here:
So, my Japanese isn't great, but I wanted to try to clarify something on here that Google Translate isn't capturing, namely from this part: Saying that there are two types of gates and then defining them both as "Power to bring" doesn't make sense in English. Why make a distinction between the two if you're gonna define them the same way? But in the Japanese, it's not quite the same words used for both: "持ってくる力" (motte kuru chikara) vs. "持っていく力" (motte iku chikara. 力 (chikara) just means "power," so we'll set that aside for now since that part is actually consistent across both items. 持って (motte) is also consistent across both items. This means "carrying" or "holding," like you'd hold a bag or a purse or a backpack or something that you're taking around with you. The big difference is between くる (kuru) and いく (iku). These are actually the kana (phonetic) versions of two kanji characters: 来る (kuru) - to come 行く (iku) - to go That provides us with a nice little pair of opposites, and changes our literal definitions as follows: 持ってくる力 (motte kuru chikara) - Power to come carrying 持っていく力 (motte iku chikara) - Power to go carrying So... they're both kinda "power to bring" but it would be more accurate to say one brings and one removes. Or, if you're feeling dramatic, one giveth and one taketh away.

Legends and myths about trees
Celtic beliefs in trees (24)
Ss for Straif (Blackthorn) - Samhain/Hallowe'en, opening the veil between this world and the spirit world…
“Mother of the Forest – The Celtic Tree Calendar (Ref), The Beginning of Winter”
Colour: red; Star: Mars, Saturn; Gemstone: black opal; Gender: female; Patron: Morrigan; Symbol: inevitability of death, protection + revenge, discord + insidiousness
Blackthorn forms vigorous young trees from the roots, from which dense, thorny bushes grow in dense clumps. Armed with sharp thorns, which can damage human skin. It already starts flowering in early spring, at the beginning of March, and with the onset of winter it produces black berries, commonly known as 'sloes'.
Samhain is the most important festival in the Celtic world, celebrated on 1st November to mark the beginning of winter and therefore the new year. The name 'Samhain' means 'end of summer'. The seasons change from summer to winter (the time of the dead) with this festival. It is a period of short days and darkness, but it is a necessary period for nature to enter a peaceful rest and welcome the bright spring. In the calendar of agricultural societies, this is an important stage for the germination of crop seeds.
Samhain was the solemn festival, when fires were lit and sacrifices were offered to gods such as Taranis and Teutates. Importantly, it was believed that on the eve of this day, 31 October, a passage between this world and the spirit world was opened, allowing inhabitants from the other world to come and visit this world freely and interact with humans in this world. However, while the comings and goings were sometimes favourable, it was also envisaged to be dangerous.
On the Samhain eve, children went from house to house to collect festive offerings. It was also customary to celebrate Samhain by placing a brightly burning candle inside a hollowed-out turnip at the entrance to the house.
Blackthorn is a tree traditionally used for black magic and witchcraft, and its thorns remind us of our own insidious roots. We must remember that we hurt ourselves and others in many ways. If we think about how to avoid hurting each other and courageously face our own insidious roots, blackthorn can guide us to overcome this dark side of our human nature and help us to return the debts of our hearts.
It also helps us to accept the fact that death is something from which no one can escape.

Hello, Anon:
This is your Oldie Chinese Diaspora Anon™ This is the second part to me trying to detail Imómó’s recent troubles. Some of the issues are trivial while others are quite grievous. It’ll be a bit of a jog, but let’s take it together, you and I.
The first stop is another anonymous whistle-blower who came up to accuse Water of something that I have never heard before.
This person claimed to have worked as DZ and DC’s artistic director. He invited Water in as a collaborator before and thought very highly of her skill and her integrity. Unfortunately for him, a victim reached out to him to let him know that they have been sold the design of a body that is over 90% similar to the Mimi Dog design that’s been made and sold by Imómó (this one:
This goes above and beyond recasting and is absolutely _verboten_ since it makes legit buyers of either “sculpt” end up looking like they bought counterfeits and recasts. Ex-director had screenshots he had with the victim. This made him look like he was complicit in the scheme, and he’s really angry. Other buyers have also popped up to comment that Water had claimed that her sculpts were sold off by “Her boss” in the past (about 2-3 years before this incident) but now it looks like she simply sold the same sculpt to two different companies and tried to play the victim. She was the sole proprietor at the time (which was traced by whistle-blower #2) and there was no “boss”. This is also mentioned in the next XHS link below, too.
The second stop along the way is the quality control for Imómó. Over the last year or so, people have mentioned that the headbacks were of a different colour with a bad fit that was obviously wrong for the face sculpt. (This was mentioned in an earlier XHS post:
As Ex and the two whistle-blowers revealed, the reason why the headbacks do not fit was because they were never meant for the rest of the head sculpt. The headbacks were left overs from previous shipments and the factories were trying to use them up since they weren’t getting paid, so they did not want to make more doll parts for free. This eventually led to more shoddy workmanship because the factories were working for free.
Due to this incident, a lot of the older unboxing and reviews started to float up to the surface as well. People are trying to find out just when did this embezzlement issue really start. For example, this buyer showed off her doll’s shoddy quality back in 2023:
(video attached)
This one with the really thin vinyl happened in August of this year (but the sculpt was probably developed and made much earlier:
She also mentioned that she bought this head from SWDolls and wants people to avoid both of them. Perhaps it’s just me, but it does seem that these two entities are entangled with each other in some ways. SWDolls is an agent for many, if not all of the Chinese brands, but their names are not attached to anyone in specific like this one is.
And finally, if you have been here for a while, you may have remembered me talking about the problems with PVC as a doll material as well as some issues found on an unboxing of a larger PVC doll (found here:
This is from a different company, of course, but the same issue had been raised with Imómó’s larger vinyl dolls as well. Unfortunately, the results can be hilariously sad:
(The neck and shoulder area had sunken into the torso. This is usually due to the vinyl being too thin and cannot fully counteract the stress from the strings. I am not sure why there are marks on the skin in the neck and the abdomen area, but I think we can agree the workmanship is quite bad. Maybe this is the “revenge of the poor factories”, but either way, it’s a bad look.
Step 3 has something to do with the relatively anonymous world of the Internet. This XHS user called out a new company called “Niji Doll” for the extremely high similarities between their doll heads and the Imómó head:
Niji Doll is another “Three-nothings” stores with a lot of secrecy behind it. There are now people who think that Water is actually selling her doll designs to other brands as an exit strategy. This one is left last because there are way too many speculations involved. But I think it’s a good idea to include this for completion’s sake.
That seems to be where the story ends, for the moment anyhow. I will keep an eye out for more exposé should any arise. It’s not exactly up to me to say if I believe the official Imómó channels or a nameless, faceless (and obviously disgruntled) person like Ex here, but I do have my suspicions. Like I said at the beginning, this is a case of a “Bad business with a good product”. Should the owner stick to decent, good business practices, there is a bright future for vinyl dolls like the one he sells. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, it’s hardworking factories and their employees as well as the guileless buyers who ended up being the final victims. And this is just sad all around.

潔 世一:”青い監獄(ブルーロック)”には入る時携帯は没収されたんだよ サッカーに集中するために
Isagi: When we arrived at Blue Lock, they confiscated it. So we can focus on soccer.
花垣 武道:さっきの人言ってたその”青い監獄(ブルーロック)”って何ですか?
Takemichi: What’s all about this Blue Lock that guy mentioned before?
潔 世一:今全国の高校生ストライカー300人を集めて世界ーのストライカーを育成するっていうプロジェクトがあってさ それがここ”青い監獄(ブルーロック)”ってわけ
Isagi: There’s a current project to bring together 300 high school students from all over the country and train them to be the world’s best striker, that’s Blue Lock.
花垣 武道:はぁ~最近のサッカーはすごいですね
Takemichi: Woah~ Soccer is amazing these days.
潔 世一:ってそれ置いといて花垣くんたち帰りたいんだよな やっぱ絵心さんのところに行くべきかな・・・それとも帝襟さんか・・・? よし!外部と連絡取れそうなところに案内するよ
Isagi: But putting that aside, Hanagaki-kun and the rest want to go home. Maybe we should go to Ego-san… or maybe Teieri-san…? Alright! I can take you to some place where you can contact the outside world.
花垣 武道:え!いいんですか!?アザーズ!!マイキーくーん!!

花垣 武道:はい あと3人とはぐれてしまって
Takemichi: Yes, we split up from three other friends.
 潔 世一:多分それも絵心さんのところに行けばわかると思うから とりあえず行こうか 凛も行くかー?
Isagi: Probably you’ll find out about that when we go to Ego-san’s. For now, let’s get going. Rin, you coming?

Okay
So I already have a protection gohei from Sarutahiko-no-Ōkami.
The Gohei (Shide wand) brings the protective power and blessings of Sarutahiko no O Kami to your home, office, dojo, or dorm room. [...] Please place this Gohei on the household altar or hang it at the entrance of your home so that you may be inspired by the miraculous power of the great kami’s divine virtue. Use this Gohei to receive his protection, be free from illness, be blessed with good fortune, and be blessed with wealth. — Shin Mei Spiritual Center
I wanted these three protection ofuda to be next to my miyagata in an ofuda stand

Protection from Robbery, Fire/Disaster, Peace. From Daijingu Temple of Hawaii an Amaterasu-Ōmikami shrine.
But from my ramblings earlier—link—they do not ship anywhere. I emailed to confirm. And unfortunately the person I know it Hawaii is no where near the shrine. And my sister's conclusion "I think the only solution is for you to go to Honolulu"
I found an Inari Shrine offering this
Tumblr media
Which states
Middle 神流地球神社御守護 (Kannagara chikyu jinja gosyugo) | Kanna Earth Shrine Guardian — conveying the protective aura of Inari Sanza / Kannagara Okamitachi
Left 家内安全 (Kanai anzen) — Family protection and support.
Right 災難消滅 (Dainan syoumetsu) — Dispel / disappear misfortune.
as entryway ward/ amulet the Kirifuda invites in good fortune while repelling negative energies, other uses include any area with troubling energies, including but not limited to : compass directions that may be troublesome or locations with energy flow difficulties or over sleeping area in case of negative influences, patterns disturbing overnight. — Inari Earth Shrine
Though I can't place it by my door. Hence on Kamidana.
-
Once upon a time someone told me 'Inari faith' headed by Fushimi Inari Taisha should not be mixed with 'jinja shinto' headed by Ise Grand Shrine. That the Kamidana is different colors (red), that it requires Kitsune foxes and torii on the Kamidana.
But I feel like a protective amulet from Inari-Ōkami is not conflicting? Especially since my Ujigami ofuda from Hokubei Tsubaki Dai Jinja also includes the enshrined Ukanomitama-no-Kami... who is an Inari Ōkami
So I feel comfortable, while it doesn't specifically protect from fire (my worst fear, but that would fall under misfortune) it still feels lovely to have.
-
PS So happy my mom let me buy her an omamori for Mother's Day

IL MICIO Shrine 子猫神社:
Tumblr media
Il Micio Shrine now has its own Saitama Metro station, L14 Il Micio Shrine on the Laketown Line. The Shrine itself has also renovated, raised up and with a cafe so you can leisurely enjoy a snack during your visit. The metro station can be visited- walk down the stairs to go underground to the actual station itself, while you pick a new destination and wait for your train. Fittingly, this metro station is just one stop from the Eifuku-cho station, the two locations are only a few sims apart along the mainland road. And this month, both locations feature the same flower in their goshuin!
