ぬくなってきたね。よいね。

どうもどうも、あっという間に四月、卯月でございますな。

ほかにも乏月なんて呼んだりもするそうで…去年採れた穀類がなくなる月なんていうそうです。んでお米高いのか…。

閑話休題、つい最近まで例年の夜桜観桜会の撮影をさせていただいておりました。その辺の写真はまた桜が散ったころに出そうかと思っております（なんで？）

また私事ではございますが、ここ数年、特に去年ぐらいから介護じゃなんじゃとバタついております。

んでもって作品にコメントなどいただいてはいるものの、リプライ等々大変遅くなっていたり、見逃したりしていることが多々ございます。誠に申し訳ございません。

折を見て少しづつお返事させていただこうとは思っておりますが、遅くなったり失念したりしちゃってたらごめんなさい。

春、夏、秋を経て冬、理が出す答えを見届けて

監督 田口智久

死を見つめる季節のフィナーレに

第1章でコンテ、第2章で監督を務めてこられた劇場版「ペルソナ3」ですが、ファイナル・シーズンである第4章は、どのような気持ちで臨んだのでしょう？

田口 第3章で自分が監督としてかかわっていない劇場版「ペルソナ3」を見ることができたのが、刺激になりました。自分とはまったく違う方法論で構築されていて、僕がやったら確実にこうならないですし、なんというかジェラシーのようなものを感じまして。ああ、ペルソナって、こういうふうにつくることもできるんだ、と。それを受け止めることができたからこそ、第4章では、自分のやり方を突き詰めたフィルムにしなくてはと思いました。あとは、やっぱりフィナーレということでのプレッシャーが大きかったです。

第4章の物語の関となるのは？

田口 理と綾時の関係性ですね。そこヘシャドウの母体であるニュクスが襲来したり、それに伴ってみんなの心がダウナーになって⋯⋯という展開で、ずいぶん重いものになっています。でも、みんなが悩んでいる部分にしっかり尺を取って描いているので、映画ならではの見せ方ができているのでは、と思います。

理にスポットが当たっていきますが、どのように描きましたか？

田口 第3章に、理が旅館の池に落ちて笑うシーンがありますけど、あの理を経ての理をしっかり追っていこうと考えていました。今作では、抱えきれないほどの絶望を前に、悩み、立ち止まってしまうというところまで、みんなが落ちてしまうんですけど、そのなかで理が見つけ出す答えというのが、全4章通してのテーマでもあり、象徴的なセリフになっています。そして、それは、第3章で笑った理がいなければ、たどり着けなかった答えなんじゃないかな、と。

それから、綾時とアイギスも、重要な存在ですね。

田口 すごく極端な⋯⋯本当に超極端な言い方ですけど「綾時と理は両想い。アイギスは理に片想い」っていうのを、こっそり頭の片角に置いてました(笑)。もちろん僕独自の解釈なので、いろんなとらえ方をしてほしくもあるのですが。ただ、そうやって、アイギスがヒロイン然としているわけではないからこそ、ペルソナならではの仲間感が出る、というのもあるんですよね。

理と綾時に重点が置かれていくとなると、その二役を演じられている石田彰さんのアフレコもすさまじいものになったのでは。

田口 石田さんだけ別の週に理以外の綾時を中心とした声を録らせていただいてから、全体アフレコの週に理としてみんなといっしょに録らせていただいた感じなんですけれど、本当にすばらしかったです。演技に対するストイックさが本当にプロフェッショナルで、ご自身で「今のは少し綾時が出てしまったから」とリテイクを申し出てくださったり。

全体的にも、とてもスムーズなアフレコになったそうですね。

田口 圧倒的にスムーズでした。特に今回は静かなシーンが多くて、感情的にセリフを吐くような場面はほとんどないんですけど、その淡々とした空気感を成立させるのは難しいはずなのに、自然にスッとやってしまえるのがこのチームの方々の成せる技。こんなに研ぎ澄まされた現場は、なかなかないのではないかと。

細かな心情描写という意味では？画づくりにもこだわられたのでは？田口監督の描き出すダウナーな情景描写が楽しみです。

田口 カッティングが終わった後に、編集さんに言われたひと言が「暗っ!」でしたからね(笑)。刺されて死ぬとか大惨事が起こって死ぬとかのサスペンス的な死ではなくて、非常に観念的な死についての物語なので、精神的にどうやられていくかというのを、どう表現するかが課題で。光や色味の演出であったり、降ってくる雪の量で表現していきました。アニメで雪が降りつづけている作品もあまりないんじゃないかと思うんですけど、心情とマッチさせたいなあというところで、力を入れています。作画もすごいアニメーターさんたちが集まってくださっていて、誇張された動きというよりはリアル寄りの芝居をていねいに描いてくださっています。全然動いているように見えないところにも実は枚数が割かれていて、作画枚数もこれまででいちばん使っているんですよ。

最後に、今作を描くうえでの最大のポイントだったと考えるシーンを教えてください。

田口 ラストですね。それは第4章を担当すると決まったときから、見据えていたビジョンでもあります。第1章の春からともに季節を経てきた理と仲間たちが迎える、そのラストを見届けてほしいです。

#1 Spring of Birth

1日と1日のはざまに隠された影時間。そこにはびこる怪物・シャドウに襲われて、無気力症となってしまう者が町に続出していた。対抗できるのは、ペルソナという特殊な能力をもつ者だけ。春、私立月光館学園に転校してきた結城理は、ペルソナの力に覚醒し、同じくぺルソナの力をもつ者たちが集う特別課外活動部へと引き入れられる

#2 Midsummer Knight's Dream

夏休みに屋久島旅行に向かった特別課外活動部。そこでアイギスという女の子に出会う。彼女は対シャドウ特別制圧兵装のラストナンバーであり、なぜか理のそばにいることを望むのだった。理たちは影時間の謎を追いながら、さらに新たな仲間と出会い、きずなを深めていく。だがそこにストレガと名のる者たちが現われ⋯⋯

#3 Falling Down

季節は秋。特別課外活動部は、影時間を終わらせるため、シャドウや滅びを望むストレガとの死闘を重ねていた。ある者は仲間や家族の死と向き合い、ある者は護るべき者に気づき、ある者はこれまでの戦いの意味に葛藤する。そんなとき、理の前に謎の転校生、望月綾時が現われる。その出会いの先にあるものは⋯⋯

【企画展】Gallery glad. 可憐に揺れる紫陽花の詩　Pretty Shaking Hydrangea Poem

お久しぶりです。グループ企画展参加の告知をさせていただきます!

この度、大阪・九条のGallery glad.様主催にて2025/6/7(土)〜2025/7/15(日)の期間で行われる企画公募展「可憐に揺れる紫陽花の詩」に参加させていただきます！

今回初めてGallery glad.様の企画公募展に参加することになりました！参加させていただき誠にありがとうございます。

今回は「紫陽花」がメインテーマ、サブテーマに「雨・傘」がございます。しっとりとした雰囲気の作品が並ぶと思います！

そして開催期間中のスマホ画面が楽しみです。 (九条も遠い…)

F1の新作1点(￥15,000 額縁込み)

A4の発表済み作品1点(￥45,000 額縁込み)

約89mm×89mmの新作3点(￥3,000 額縁なし)

を展示＆販売させていただきます。

It's been a while. I’m pleased to announce our participation in the group exhibition!

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be participating in a group exhibition, " Pretty Shaking Hydrangea Poem," to be held at Gallery glad. in Kujo, Osaka, from 6/7/2025 (Sat.) to 7/15/2025 (Sun.)!

This is the first time for me to participate in the exhibition of Gallery glad! Thank you very much for allowing me to participate.

The main theme of this year's exhibition is "Hydrangea", and the sub-themes are "Rain and Umbrella. I'm looking forward to seeing their works in the exhibition!

And I'm looking forward to seeing your phone screen during the exhibition. (Kujo is also far away…)

This time

1 new work of F1 (￥15,000 including frame)

1 A4 size work (￥45,000 including frame)

3 new works of about 89mm x 89mm (￥3,000 unframed)

will be exhibited and sold.

In addition, 4 types of postcards will be available for purchase,

“Camera of Mirabilia”, the one-shot I drew some months ago for the Global Comic Awards 2025, is one of the winners of the award of excellence!

2025年5月24日-25日 ウマ娘 プリティーダービー 6th EVENT The New Frontier デュランダル役 野木奏様、カルストンライトオ役 望月ゆみこ様、ビリーヴ役 秋山実咲様宛にフラワースタンドを送らせていただきました。

黄・紺・水色の3人のメインカラーで元気で明るい感じにしました！ この3色をそのままお花の色にすると青系が強くなって色が重たくなりそうだったので、明度が中間の水色を装飾の方に移して、お花は黄・紺・白で構成してみました。

フラスタを作成いただいたお花屋さんは、今回のライブと公式で連携されていた㈱Flosta様です。イメージ通りにご準備いただき誠にありがとうございました！

～余談～

6thライブの会場でトマト豆太さんからたくさんのグッズをいただきました！

令和６年４月15日に永眠いたしましたREITAの葬儀が執り行われましたことを、謹んでご報告いたします。

REITAをthe GazettEとしてファンの皆様と共にどのように送り出すのが最善なのか、

the GazettEメンバー・スタッフで協議を重ねた結果、

REITAが何よりも愛した音楽とLIVEで送り出してあげたいという想いから、今回の公演を追悼公演という形で行わせていただく事となりました。

We are pleased to announce that the funeral of REITA, who passed away on April 15, 2020, was held.

What is the best way to present REITA as the GazettE together with our fans? As a result of repeated discussions among the GazettE members and staff, We have decided to hold this performance as a memorial performance because we want to present the music REITA loves more than anything and perform live.
