For the ADHD Apps project, I'm going to write the apps in plain Java and convert them to the Android layout later on in the process. So from here on the pictures posted and the milestones reached will have to do with making the projects run as Java programs before I get in over my head with Android again.

updating a calendar in an organizational app automatically updates the main phone calendar. updating the main phone calendar automatically updates all the organizational app calendars. updates both ways

a habit-forming app like habitica except that level-ups stop getting further and further apart after like, level 10

an app that after you snooze an item a certain number of times to put it off it stops letting you do that. the notification doesn’t go away until you do it or you explain why you’re putting it off again in text ( 50-word count minimum)

related: an app where if you don’t put a due date on a task, it tells you how long it’s been since you added the task to the app. the oldest task is always first. and the ‘how long it’s been’ part gets redder and bigger the longer it’s been, so like a 20-day-old task is like “🚨20 DAYS AGO🚨” in 48-pt font next to the task name

a calendar app that opens itself after I turn off my alarm, shows me my schedule for the day, and walks me through my morning routine, and can’t be closed until all my morning tasks are done

the app is open for a minimum of 10 minutes OR you can’t move from one task to the next in less than a minute

an app that does literally any of these tasks and doesn’t charge by subscription

i see you taking advantage of the fact that i’ll forget to turn off the subscription for like 10 years after i stop using the app

ADHDApps Project update

Proof that I’m still working on the ADHDApps project. it’s been two years since I saw the post but I’m still interested and learning more every day. These might not ever get off the ground but I haven’t given up on trying to make something work.

Useless no-calendar ass IDE

The moment you realize the calendar library you downloaded is subpar but you've already got half the project going so you're stuck with it. Welp, time to extend it. And this "edit" feature is going to need so many insert text boxes that I'm going to get sick of them by the end of this project. Why can't Android have a working default calendar that isn't connected to anything?

I mostly messed with the background to try and make it less boring. I’m really putting off rereading the series to do this properly because Warrior Cats is messy and my mental health is shot to shit these days. So for now I’m just making it look like someone cares and it’ll get updated as it goes along. Don’t know if I’ll ever publish this or not but who knows, maybe one day.

Woke up at 8:30

Walked dog

Leo went out to do her thing (day off)

Talked to various Tumblr friends about life and whether I could call myself disabled (Conclusion: Yes I can. People break bones and get better from broken bones and eating disorders. Something being temporary doesn’t make me any less disabled, especially since there’s the chance it might not be temporary. ADHD is for life so it stands to reason that falling back into a state of severe unhealthiness caused by lack of regulation could absolutely be a cycle I will have to contend with for the rest of my life. Ugh.)

Made lunch! Can of refried beans with seasoning, cheese, salsa, wrapped in a tortilla that fell apart not long after attempting to eat it. But such is life. It was very good and the other half will be dinner.

Moved AC unit from Leo’s room to office room (feeling pretty good about that one, tbh)

Figured out how to get the app I’m currently working on to show up on my phone so I could see how it would look for users.

ADHD Apps Session 10/19/2019: Calendar Updates

Focused on color scheme

Added a header label for the months

Added arrows to the top of the "monthly" page. Eventually it'll scroll sideways instead of down so people won't have to mess with the page.

Figured out how to clear the calendar so the dates can be messed with later.

Fanmade Warriors Website redo

Soooooo I think it was last Spring? Or something? At some point in 2018, I posted a few pictures of a site I was working on that I called Comprehensive World of Warriors. It was going to be where I posted my rewrites, headcanons, all that jazz. 

But the laptop it was on crashed. 

Also, the goal changed. I feel like that’s important to know. While I am going to have a fanfiction section, the rest of the site will be dedicated to what I can piece together that’s technically canon. 

If I get that far, none of the changes from social media will apply here. The material considered canon will be the main books (which already contradict each other like crazy.) The mangas, Super Editions, maybe the field guides because I heard those were up in the air. I’ve got enough issues trying to figure out what’s what without factoring in the missing kits or The Crazy Novella We Do Not Speak Of (God, that still gives me the shivers. I’m not touching that.)

So here’s a look at what I have so far.

Calendar Coding update

All the boxes are the same size now! It was easy once I realized that the scroll bar is there for a reason.
