rehearsal was going surprisingly well today. the movements felt smoother, more natural, like everyone was finally starting to get the hang of it. after spending more time with rafe, you’d grown comfortable around him—comfortable enough to exchange quick remarks and teasing glances in between steps.
now, during the break, you found yourself in the bathroom, washing your hands at the sink after using the toilet. the fluorescent lights buzzed faintly, and the echo of distant chatter filled the empty space. just as you turned the faucet off, the door swung open.
ruthie and ashley walked in, their expensive perfume lingering in the air, mixing with the sharp scent of bathroom soap.
“oh, hey guys,” you greeted, forcing a small smile as you dried your hands.
ruthie met your gaze in the mirror, applying her lip balm with practiced ease. “you seem close with rafe, y/n.”
your stomach tensed slightly, but you shrugged. “he’s my escort. i guess he’s just… there.”
ashley let out a hum, exchanging a glance with ruthie. “see, we usually don’t warn rafe’s fuck buddies but since we actually like you…” ruthie trailed off, capping her lip balm with a sharp click. “you should be careful around him.”
you frowned. “i’m not his hookup.”
“doesn’t matter,” ashley said, examining her nails like this was just another casual conversation. “remember what he did to that girl in his junior year?”
ruthie shot her a warning look, but ashley just shrugged.
“what are you talking about?” you asked, your curiosity piqued despite the uneasy feeling settling in your chest.
ruthie sighed, tilting her head slightly. “fine. we’ll tell you, but you didn’t hear it from us.”
as if you had anyone else to hear it from.
“two years ago, rafe was dared to take this girl’s virginity. and after he got what he wanted?” she made a dramatic pause. “he left her. like she was nothing.”
ashley leaned against the sink, grinning like this was some juicy gossip. “she left school and never came back.”
your stomach twisted uncomfortably. you weren’t sure what to say. it felt like something straight out of a wattpad book—a bad boy, a bet, an innocent girl left heartbroken.
“wow, that’s shitty,” the words felt clumsy on your tongue.
ashley smirked. “i know, right? like, who does that?”
ruthie took a step closer, lowering her voice just slightly. “look, we’re just saying… don’t fall for his games, y/n.”
you inhaled sharply, grounding yourself. “i don’t think there’s any games in the first place, but thanks for telling me. we’re just friends.”
before either of them could say anything else, jasmine poked her head in. “you guys done? coach wants us back.”
you took that as your cue to leave, walking out without another word.
as you got back to the dance floor, rafe was already waiting for you, hands in his pockets.
“what took you so long? took a shit?” he teased, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
you rolled your eyes and smacked his arm lightly. “you’re so childish. ruthie and ashley were just telling me a story about you.”
his smirk faded instantly. “what did they say?”
you hesitated for a second too long, and his gaze darkened.
“what did they say?” his voice was sharper now, more demanding.
you sighed. “they said you messed around with a girl and was dared to… take her virginity or whatever. honestly, it sounded hardly believable.”
the second the words left your mouth, he stormed off, shoving the door open so hard it slammed against the wall.
your stomach dropped.
“what’s wrong with cameron?” coach’s voice cut through the silence.
you blinked, still processing. “i—i don’t know.”
coach sighed. “well, go after him! what are you waiting for?”
you hesitated before finally running outside.
“rafe!” you called, but you were too late.
his car was already speeding off down the road, taillights glowing in the dimming light.
you stood there, heart hammering in your chest, wondering what exactly you’d said wrong.

Beware the Patient Woman (my foray into Sagelander)
Tumblr media
This is set right after season 4. I don’t address anything beyond Sagelander. Ashley disappeared. Ryan is presumed returned to Vought Tower, maybe staying in a different room while they have to renovate Homelander’s apartment top to bottom. This is either a standalone or a chapter 1, idk. Had to get it out of my system. Rated PG cause I'm lazy/ a coward? (for now). AO3 link.
Sage may not have x-ray vision but she can tell who’s behind the door by the sound of the knock before she opens it. She didn’t have time to change out of her pajamas, but at least she was awake.
"May I come in?" he asks, peering down at her before his eyes start roving around the room.
"Of course," she says, even though she was looking forward to lying around in bed before having to put her suit on and trot out to the board meetings.
"Sorry, I know it’s early. I couldn’t really sleep last night." He walks in, almost brushing past her, arms clasped behind his back and hidden by the American flag cape billowing slightly behind him, so close that she has to lean back slightly to avoid getting an eagle beak to the face. But he didn’t mean disrespect by it, just distracted by looking all around the room.
"This was so much emptier when Maeve lived here," he remarks, stepping around various small pieces of furniture, nearly all stacked with books.
"I’m sure she needed the space to practice her combat techniques."
"Yeah or her drinking or her threesomes. I’m not sure she had the attention span to read a book in her life," he mumbles angrily, and Sage doesn’t like where this conversation is going at all. She knew there might be a downside to being given the room where Homelander’s old flame used to live.
"Did you want to discuss something?" she says, trying to keep any impatience out of her voice.
He turns around sharply to face her. "I really wanted to thank you for… everything that happened yesterday. I couldn’t even articulate how grateful I was for what you did for me."
For him, he thinks, despite her telling him point-blank that she did it to see if she could. But she was banking on his gratitude and on the high value he places on loyalty.
"You’re so very welcome. But I only did what you hired me to do," she says, cautiously, hoping this will emphasize that she may not necessarily have any interest in going beyond what she was hired to do. Maintaining boundaries with a man like this was always important.
"No, no." One of his hands emerges from behind his back to wag a finger at her. "Don’t play dumb with me. You know what I’m talking about. You did what I hired you to do, sure, but you did it even after I dismissed you. I’m not stupid, Sage. I know you could have used that brain of yours to fuck me thrice over and get revenge for how badly I treated you. I admit, I underestimated you. I did a dangerous thing, letting you go, when you were my best ally all along. So I… I know you could have made things worse for me, but you chose to side with me anyway. I was absolutely wrong about you, and it won’t happen again. I will listen to you, like I promised."
Sage hesitates. He’s saying all the right things, but these hollow promises aren’t worth much when they’ll fall to the wayside the next time he gets fed up with her. No, he’s leading up to something, and she’s wary of what might come next, so she’s not sure how she should reply to steer the conversation away.
"That’s good to hear. And no hard feelings, trust me."
Homelander nods. "Yeah, trust. I do want to ask you one thing. It’s just… I do trust you, but could I just ask you to keep me in the loop? No more lies?"
"I don’t think I ever outright lied to you," Sage answers, taking a deep breath, trying to keep her breath steady. Was this human powderkeg about to explode again? She thought she had him placated for at least a few weeks, but maybe she’s miscalculating just how paranoid he is. It's hard to feel completely calm when he's standing over her, forcing her to tilt her face upwards to meet his gaze.
"Well I’m including lying by omission," he says, but then his expression changes, softens strangely, and he steps back as if realizing that he's been looming over her. "I’m sorry, you’re misunderstanding, I didn’t come here to threaten you in any way. I just wanted to… maybe just establish best practices, going forward."
Shit, her heart rate must have spiked, finally given away that she was getting nervous. "Oh yeah, I understand. I appreciate that. Let’s discuss that."
Homelander shakes his head, wincing. "Look, I really don’t mean to dictate how you should work. I realize I’m doing it automatically. I’m catching myself telling you what to do again. I respect that you might not want to tell me everything– I do. I’ll be honest, it is a blow to the ego, and I’m not used to it, because… well you’ve seen the caliber of idiots that I've had to deal with. I’m not used to trusting someone else."
He looks … unsure of himself? Is he genuinely apologetic? Sage is so reluctant to interpret anything he says as benign and without ulterior motives, but it’s tempting to believe him right now. She’s really at a loss for words, content to let him just keep talking and explain himself.
"So… I take back everything I said," Homelander mutters, his mouth folding even thinner as soon as he says it. "I trust you so much that I allow you to lie by omission. But if I ask you something, I’d really like a straight answer. Call it my weakness. I’m not a details guy. I’m not aspiring to look over your shoulder and micromanage your plans. But I just- I just need a little something in return for the trust. I need to be able to check in once in a while and know you won’t lie to my face."
Sage can’t believe she’s getting to watch this man wrestle with himself, threatening to spiral out while trying to define what’s important to him and what’s reasonable to ask of her. He’s debating with himself with only the barest input from her. She needs to nip this in the bud. She’s never felt that comfortable seeing him cry, and she doesn’t want things to get to that point, where she’ll have to comfort him instead of just reassuring him. "Hey listen. I love working with you. You’re giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. I’ll gladly discuss plans with you if you’re really interested in the boring details." Maybe she’s overselling it a bit, but he looks like he recovers his poise at least.
"Anyway, that’s not even what I came here to ask you." he says, his tone sounding more like his usual self. "I wanted to invite you out for dinner. Just as a small token of appreciation- ah-ah! Nope!" he says, raising his hand as she tries to interrupt him. "Don’t say no before you hear the proposition. I found out you like sushi."
Sage’s blood runs a little cold at hearing him know something about her that she doesn’t think she ever revealed to anybody on staff at Vought.
"I located your mother and asked her a little about you over the phone last night," he says, as if guessing the question in her mind. Of course he did. He probably thinks that gives him leverage over her. Well, joke’s on him, because she hasn’t been in much contact with her mom, they haven’t gotten along since she was a teenager, and she’s not going to be manipulated by him threatening her mom. But her mom is right that she likes sushi.
"Oh yeah?" Sage asks, summoning a genuine looking smile to her face because she’s not sure how well he can tell when her mind starts running at triple speed when she’s feeling pressure. "I do love me some sushi. And I haven’t tried that many places since moving here, because it’s been so busy."
"Great!" he says, and now his smile looks genuine too, the fleeting reference to her family thankfully fading out of their conversation. "I’ve rented out this place called Masa night. You’re gonna love it. Three Michelin stars and all that. Best sushi in New York."
"Yeah, tonight works," Sage says, hoping it’s not too rude to imply that his setting her daily schedule for her is overstepping, his certainty that she’s going to love hanging out with him is overstepping.
"Usually I wouldn’t put you through the hassle of going out, just have the chefs come to work at the Vought kitchen and host it at my place, but you know… my place is a bit of a disaster zone right now and yours… well I don’t wanna disturb your little setup you’ve got going on here."
Yes, there’s a problem she needs to solve as soon as possible brewing here. She’s very fucking glad she’s not being invited to dinner at his place. "So is there a dress code? Do I have to wear my superhero suit?"
Homelander scoffs. "I’ve rented it out. No paps, no photos. You can come in whatever you damn well please. Wear sweatpants if you want. This is all for you!" He smiles again, and it’s really genuine, and now she’s concerned that her fears are true. In his mind, this is a date.
"Just you and me?" she verifies, and when he nods she takes a deep breath and says something risky, but better now than later. "Just so you know– I don’t really do romantic relationships. I’ve slept with a couple of members of the Seven, but you don’t strike me as the kind of person who would want to get in on that action."
Homelander blinks, clearly taken aback. "It’s just dinner with a colleague," he says, but his tone is halting. "I don’t- that’s none of my business what you do in your free time with-" he licks his lips and Sage tries to guess what bothers him most about this. "Were you sleeping with A-Train? Is that how you knew?"
"No, I don’t mix work and pleasure like that." Sage can’t help but laugh a little. "I can tell you with whom. ‘No more secrets’, right? Noir and the Deep."
Sage can practically hear the wheels in Homelander’s head turning as he tries to picture it. "Huh," he says. "Well that’s uh… your prerogative certainly." Is that hurt in his voice? Maybe disbelief that she’d fuck people he considers far beneath him?
"Exactly. I assumed that someone like you would have no problem with workplace hookups," she says, shrugging. "Being part of the Seven isn’t really a normal gig. It’s so full-time, it’s your entire life. Might as well get some fun out of it."
"Yeah, makes sense," he mutters, trailing off, still thinking.
"So tonight then? What time?" she asks.
He snaps out of his thoughts. "I rented it out for the entire evening. So anytime from five onward. Up to you."
"Seven then?" she says. He nods and walks out stiffly. Sage shuts the door and leans back against it. She has to navigate this right. This overpowered manchild doesn’t have a good track record of keeping work and pleasure separate, but she can’t rebuff him in a way that insults him. She thought she was in the clear– that someone like her would never attract that kind of attention from him. She needed to be smart about this.

The Toymaker Chapter 5
Tumblr media
MASTERLIST
The whole thing was crazy, wild goose chases, broken relationships, and a baby being born all in one day.
At the hospital, Gold and Emma were not fighting but definitely not agreeing.
"... let's just say you owe me a favor" I heard the tail end of their conversation.
"Ahh Miss. Banks what brings you here" he turned to me.
"A baby was born, I want to see the baby"
"Well, then ill leave you, ladies, to it. Wish Ashely my best" he said leaving.
"What a prick," Emma said want he was out of earshot.
"How so, I find Gold rather charming"
"You seem to be the only one, he wasn't gonna let Ashley keep her baby. I had to make a deal with him. What a jerk"
"No, I'm mean he was just doing what would be best for both the children involved in this, Ashley works as a maid and unmarried how will she support them both, the girls good but she's still a kid"
Emma rolled her eyes at my protest.
"Look at the little toy I brought for the baby, they can't play with it for a while but still"
You'd think that, that Gold wouldn't have something stolen from him so soon, well that was a no.
Around a week later, after already so many things had happened Gold's house was robbed.
The now sheriff Emma got back most of the things but according to Gold, there was something very important missing.
"Hey Penny you're close to Gold, I think he's planning something, has he done anything suspicious" Emma questioned me.
"What do you think he's planning ?"
"I'm not sure just something that could get him in a lot of trouble, where is he."
"Well if he is not at his shop he's probably at this house"
"Nope I've checked both there anywhere else he could be, favorite restaurant, a nostalgic spot in town"
"I mean I think he's got a little cabin in the forest that he uses sometimes"
"Come on let's find that cabin.
The car ride was silent, a thick air between us.
Do I think he was doing something bad no, but what if I was wrong?
"Stay here, this could get dangerous," Emma ordered
"What why bring me then? Plus he's not a madman"
"I said stay !"
So I had, it was only a minute before Emma came out Yelling "Call an ambulance!"
"What Is Gold ok," I said dialing 911.
"It's not Gold who im worried about"
I Practly jumped hurrying to see what happen, "My god"
"Yeah, he's been beaten pretty well, Do you know him?"
"I mean, he sells Flowers in town and he was the one who robbed Gold right? That's all I know"
"When Gold was hitting him, Gold was yelling something about him hurting a woman, any idea who that might be"
"No."
The rest of it was mostly a blur flower guy was taken to the hospital and Gold was arrested.
He wasn't held for long on a count of connections and such.
The ring of the bell at the door.
"Sorry where closed come back tomorrow," I said.
"If it's closed Why are you still here, so late at night," The familiar voice of Gold said.
"Oh, just busy working away"
"Penny Im Sorry I hope you don't see me differently after everything that's happened recently."
"I may not know the exact reason for why you did it, but based on the little info I got from Emma you did it for a woman. Love is a two-head viper, just maybe next time hide it a bit better" I joked.
"So what's that you got?"
"Well It's a doll I've had for many years now gifted to me by an old friend, I was hoping you could restore it to its former glory, it was damaged in the robbery you see."
"No problem, She doesn't seem to be tattered up, maybe a week to repair"
"Thank you I look forward to seeing you work your magic," Gold said Taking his leave.
The doll was beautiful, and definitely made by a professional, but still with a flare of feeling homemade.

"Road to WrestleMania part 2"
Summary: Ashley talks to Randy Orton before the contract for the match between him and the Undertaker is signed. She tries to go after the Legend Killer when he slaps the Deadman, causing her brother-in-law and husband to criticize her for nearly getting herself hurt. 49th installment of Two Brothers, One Friend, Many Stories series. Kayfabe details used only.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the professional wrestling characters/gimmicks used here. I only own my original characters.
On Tuesday, March 15th, 2005, Ashley was in Savanah, Georgia, with her children for that week's SmackDown episode, which would air two days later. They would return home by plane after the show ended, and Ashley had witnessed the contract signing for the match between Randy Orton and the Undertaker. Lucas had been allowed to fly down there, too, and it helped that he had done very well in OVW to the point that Mr. McMahon wanted to promote him to the main roster in 2 years. The oldest sibling in the younger generation of Calaway siblings was sitting in the Undertaker's dressing room with Colin, Meredith, and Ellen to watch everything on CCTV, and Kane had opted to join them. The Big Red Machine had gone back to Raw sometime after the Great American Bash last year but had been allowed to come to this taping of SmackDown on the condition that he just keep an eye on his children and not interfere with any matches or the contract signing. It was now the commercial break before said contract signing would happen, and the Undertaker and Ashley had gotten ice cream sandwiches for their family and brought them into the dressing room.
"Uncle Mark, do you think Randy Orton has a big chance of winning against you?" Colin asked as the dessert was passed around.
"I do not think he has one. Especially because he failed to listen to warnings from others who had faced me before about how difficult it is." The Deadman answered honestly. He would not have an ice cream sandwich as he wasn't hungry. Nor would Ashley.
"I have to agree with that, big brother." Kane added before eating his ice cream sandwich and tossing the wrapper into a wastebasket. He sighed sadly. "I would have beaten you the second time we faced each other on the grandest stage if I hadn't been distracted by not believing that you had returned, but I have no desire to do it a third time."
"That may be, but perhaps you will succeed in the Money in the Bank ladder match." Ashley said in the hopes of encouraging him. Granted, it was a one in six chance, albeit not impossible.
"I hope you both are successful." Meredith said softly.
"Same here, and I am looking forward to getting to team up with or face one or both of you when I'm 21 years old." Lucas was optimistic about getting to do this.
"You will be on Raw or SmackDown soon enough, son. I am looking forward to seeing what you are capable of." Kane put his arm around his oldest adopted son as he said this. He could just see himself and Lucas as Tag Team Champions one day and having a very long run with the titles. That thought made him smile.
"As am I. It will be interesting to see what the future holds, but for now, we must focus on the present." The Undertaker reminded them.
Ellen hadn't paid attention to the conversation due to focusing on eating her ice cream. After everyone who had wanted ice cream sandwiches was done eating, Meredith helped her little sister clean up and took her into the bathroom to try to use it. A minute or so later, Ellen was back in Colin's arms and had fallen asleep. When she was tired enough, she could sleep as heavily as Paul Bearer did, though Kane pushed that thought aside. He was not going to allow her to meet her biological grandfather until she was much older if she wanted to meet him at all.
There was a knock on the door to the dressing room, and a crew member reminded the Deadman and his sister-in-law that they needed to get out to the ring soon.
"We'll be out there momentarily!" Ashley called out to him. She was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt with the phrase "Proud Member of the Family of Destruction" written on it in blue letters, blue socks, and white sneakers. Her kids were wearing the same kind of t-shirt as well, along with blue jeans and white socks. Lucas was wearing black sneakers, Colin was wearing blue ones, Meredith was wearing pink ones, and Ellen was wearing red ones. All the shoes had laces save for Ellen's, which had velcro straps. The shirts would be part of what they would wear at WrestleMania.
Moments later, WrestleMania was still on the mind of Ashley Calaway as she stood in the ring with the Undertaker, Randy Orton, the SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, and the Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff for the contract signing. When she was asked if she had anything to say, she had replied, "Randy Orton, you are not going to be the man who ends this streak. You are arrogant and stupid if you think otherwise. I am not just saying this because my brother-in-law and I were friends in our childhood; I genuinely believe it. If 12 other men, two of whom teamed up with each other and one of whom had two chances to do it, couldn't defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania, I don't know that you could pull it off."
It was after the actual signing that the Undertaker had been slapped by Randy, who then left the ring. Ashley had wanted to chase the latter, but her brother-in-law immediately held her back by grabbing her from behind.
"Let me at him!" Ashley screamed twice, loud enough for the cameras to catch it.
As the show went to a commercial break again, the Undertaker had picked Ashley up as she swore and carried her over his shoulder back to his dressing room before setting her down on the floor so that she was standing. The camera crew followed them, intending to catch footage to air after the break finished. Censor bleeps would cover up the profanity when the episode aired.
The kids were sent out of the dressing room as they and Ashley would have to leave for the airport soon. Kane demanded to know one thing. "What were you thinking? You could have been given an RKO by Orton if you had chased him and caught up with him!" It was obvious that he had been worried that the situation could have been worse as well as angry judging by the look on his face.
"Randy slapped the Undertaker! He shouldn't have done it!" Ashley screamed before being interrupted upon attempting to say what she wanted to do to him.
The Undertaker turned her around so that she was facing him. "You are not going to do anything to him, old friend. I would think that you would have realized by now that you can't just do something without considering the consequences." He said as he stared at her the same way he did to his enemies. "We don't want you to get hurt, and I don't want Kane to worry about anything besides his match as WrestleMania approaches."
"That is surprisingly thoughtful of you, big brother." Kane said before addressing his wife once more. "Please don't be as foolish as Randy Orton or more foolish than him for that matter. We don't want you to be harmed."
"You are right; I was an idiot to try to do that." Ashley took a deep breath to calm herself down, immediately realizing that they were right. "I will use more common sense so that you two won't have to worry too much about me." She then gave Kane a kiss on his lips and then got hers and her kids' belongings. "I have to take the kids to the airport. I'll see you both at WrestlemMania. Farewell for now." She then left to find her and Kane's children.
"She was lucky you were there to stop her." Kane said, relieved that his wife seemed to realize that what she had tried to do was foolish. "Randy Orton won't be so lucky soon enough."
"I can assure you, little brother, that regardless of what happens next, Randall Keith Orton will rest. In. Peace." The Undertaker reminded him firmly before leaving the dressing room.
The camera crew left soon after, and Kane went to return to the hotel he was staying in. It would be way too long before he saw his family again, but he would be able to keep himself occupied until then. So would the Undertaker.

The Toymaker Chapter 3
Tumblr media
MASTERLIST
"Morning Pen, Hot chocolate?" Ruby said as I walked in.
"Actually no I'm in the mood for tea today, got earl grey," I said sitting at the container.
"Oh fancy, but what's up, changing your order so out of the blue is everything alright" she placed a hand on mine.
"Nothing wrong just feels like things are changing for the better, something different I just don't know what," I say thinking it over.
"Oh so you noticed the old clock working as well, Regina is finally getting this town fixed up" she joked.
"I don't think Regina has or ever will care for this town, she just likes the power of being mayor"
"I would appreciate less bad-mouthing out of you Miss banks," the all too familiar voice of Regina said behind me.
"Your coffee miss madam mayor," Ruby said becoming more mannerly.
"I don't understand why gold lets your toy store stay it's not like you get any business"
"Actually, if I was pushed out someone else would come along and who knows how loud and annoying they'd be, plus I have an inside voice rule"
She rolled her eyes before swiftly leaving
"Why does, Gold let you stay, you never pay rent," Ruby said
"I really don't know I swear" I laughed.
Gold's Prawn shop and Banks toystore pretty funny coincidences maybe it's just something to laugh at and that's why he lets me stay.
"I've never cared to ask, maybe he's in love with me" I joked
We laughed.
"Trust me, girl you could do so much better than him, maybe Leroy" she jested, earning us a middle finger from the man.
"Morning Emma" Ruby greeted the blonde.
She awkwardly waved sitting next to me,'
"Your that Toy store girl right, Mandy Brink? Was it" she said trying to make conversation.
"Penny Banks, So your Henry's mother, finally come to take him away from the evil queen" I joked.
"Oh you know about Henry's Fairy tale conspiracy," she said.
"What? I don't talk to the kid much, just the grapevine knowledge, what's this conspiracy?" I asked curiously.
"I don't think I should say, I'm only staying a week, don't want to cause more trouble than I already have"
"Nah we could use some excitement here, the most fun I have had in a long time was when a kid in my shop tripped and yelled, fuck you floor ill kill your mother"
Emma looked like she was trying to figure out whether It was a joke or not.
"Speaking of my shop, I've got to go see you around."
The days went on Eventually Emma moved in with Mary-Margaret and is staying most likely forever and yet I still have paid no rent to Gold.
"Oh Well Hello Miss Banks, heading home for the night," Gold said Locking his shop.
"Yeah, I mean I was going to go grab something to eat before but still" I laughed.
"Would you mind if I joined you, Haven't had much to eat myself"
I nodded and we started walking toward Grannie's
"So, This I kind of a weird question, Why don't you charge me rent like ever? Id think id be the first on your rent rounds" I joked.
"Let's just say, Ive owed you a great deal of things, this is just part of that"
"I have no idea what you're talking about but I'm just gonna say I'm content with it?"
"Oh, I've just realized I left something back at the shop, you go ahead ill catch up," he said waddling back.
I arrived and waited outside of the place for Gold, But he didn't show, the place closed and I started to panic, I rushed back to the shop.
"Mr. Gold?" I said as I opened the door of his shop, the window of the door had been broken, and on the floor lay, Gold bleeding out of his head.
"Oh god, should I call someone" panic has now been ramped up.
I pulled a rag from my pocket and pressed it to his head, he hissed a bit.
"Oh good your alive, hold this, and apply pressure, Im gonna call someone"
"No, I'm fine no need to call," he said trying to sit up.
"What happened"
"Ashley Boyd, she broke in and stole the contract we had, then bonked me over the head when I caught her."
I help Gold back to his place before leaving for my own and the next day Emma went on the search for the teen mother.

Episode i forgot because its been a month
I was listening to teh cut animo & welles album while playing modded MC and my friend @cloudystrwbrry called me gay so i then decided to play some MCSM before i have to go to work
Im love you petra, i will willingly race you anytime
I love the DLC but surprisingly i think this episode is my least favorite?? idk maybe because its something infront of episode 7 which is my ABSOLUTE favorite episode of the DLC
also if thats episode 7 does that mean im playing episode 6? i didnt look at the number and yet i know the Redstone computer one is episode 7.....
I was accidentally nice to torquedawg u-u
"you've got.... a boyyss name......" farewell only youtuber i know not of
Okay but i do think it wouldve been fun if the Host was a Youtuber, wouldve made it very not obvious who the antagonist is because there is only ONE non youtuber a part of the cast
'MMm yes delicious im poisened now i huffed that arrow a little too good' thanks Ivor
The suspicious wink Jesse gives to sparkle pants like damn
When ever Petra speaks im just like Hello Ashley Johnson how are you doing today
also like, The host say the crew running via the window, how did they have time to make the portraits?????????????????????
I do feel bad for lucas this man just gets picked on for no reason
I love the dangangobnronpa portraits though lmao
If we stick together, the killer cant leave to kill somebody without it being obvious who to wittle down! just like- AMONG US (ive been watching Alpharad's mongy monday streams lately so i got the mogus on the brain)
These guys aint slick on private conversations *yelling* LIZZIE PSSSST LIZZIE
"Oh, was I" (upset about inventory poking) She said it so suspiciously like goddamn girl. The voice directing is actually so good for these lines she sounds so caught in her actions rn
WAIT IS THIS GAME WHERE I GOT CALLING SOMEONE PRICKLY FROM (subconsciously) BECAUSE I HAVE A RUDE COWORKER WHO GETS COMPLAINTS ALL THE TIME AND I may or may not have called them prickly to a customer..... this was like 2 months after knowing said coworker. Im much quieter about said opinions to customers now, mostly just apologize for it because nothing is ever going to change uwu (I do not want to work there anymore)
Im just over here gossiping with my friends about these strangers i met 5 minutes ago
Okay but 4 random strangers show up, your 'prickly' friend is dead and 3 of them gossip in a corner while one goes to each clique and asks questions?????? y'all just let this happen?????
Jesse: YO IT OPENS PORTALS!! i mean, just a lucky guess! Jesse you buffoon
Okay but Dan being bored and UBER CURIOUS about the button is hilarious tho
also gendered sentences are soooo stupid it just keeps your brain thinking about a mystery man but like,,, if you use they them for a person you know nothing about WOW your options get so much bigger! and also i feel like it kind of creates a twist where the cast is using he/him pronouns for a masked killer but BUM BUM the killer was a GIRL ALL ALONG!!! idk just seems cheep to me
also again letting Jesse / people from Jesse's crew mess with the crime scene??? like,, Let at least ONE person from the other group in there as a buffer! but i guess thats too logical for a story now isnt it
AND THEN IVOR AND PETRA NOT LETTING ANYONE IN LIKE GUYS IT MAKES Y'ALL LOOK SUSSY AS HELL
Also petra my beloved rushing into the room :333 (about 1 whole minute too late but you know she's doing her best)
Love how Cassie banked on someone having ADHD or just didnt plan to kill anyone yet
ACAB includes Jesse (Like DUDE you're making me mad >:|)
Tumblr media
ACAB INCLUDES JESSE
Tumblr media
Jesse youre being a bitch
PETRA IM JUST INTERROGATING THE MAN YOU DONT HAVE TO ROUGH HOUSE HIM WHADDA HELL
who let cassie out of their sight
Tumblr media
who's working security in this bitch? cause Petra's hanging with me for the interrogation
(also how do i insure Lizzie stays alive? no offense to Dan im just a misandrist /s)
not me cheating and looking it up and realizing she might be doomed already... we'll see
okay but i do like the gag how every scene dan has a new hair color
I hate directional arrows... just dies because i was hitting up because it was forward but technically the arrow was pointing down, my brain cant function with stuff like that :((((
Ivor: I'll watch over lukas *Smacks his ass*
I love her your honor
Tumblr media
I like i absolutely love all the small things about petra love knowing she whittles
-Work intermission-
-the next day- (I did in fact look that this is indeed Episode 6)
Cassie was just mining around the location of the portal after she found it and happened upon like 7 zombie spawners all next to eachother and was like Oh yeah.. Its all coming together >:)
Stampy: What are you doing down here?? Didnt we *Just* say we were going in to find cluess for the white pumpkin?? didnt we say that Petra?
Petra: That looks like a Lair door if i ever saw one That looks like a trap door if i ever saw one
"Its not your fault the spiders got him" OOPSIES I SENT HIMN THERE TO HIS DOOM ON POURPUS
okay but Cassie why do you have so many back up winslows??? not healthy!
Jesse i know youre a pig person but dont be rude
Tumblr media
Okay yes actually it makes sense that Cassie isnt a youtuber cause she wasnt from this world but also like, think of the fun of a proper twist!
also damn Cassie got them screenshot abilities
"they're all about portals, thats pretty obsessive" YOU'D BE TOO IF YOU COULDNT FIND SHIT TO GET OUT TOO JESSE
OLD FISH TEXTURE MY BELOVED
Tumblr media
I dont love you anymore Petra (/s They could Never make me hate you)
Tumblr media
Get Danmganronpad Idiot, thats what you get for not liking cats >:(
Tumblr media
Honestly surprised Lizzie did all this research that Cassie apparently couldnt do? like you'd think Cassie would've had her hands on those tomes
Girl you're not mentally well
Tumblr media
She was doing ye olde pufferfish to calm her nerves
"its not your fault" Dans death was. oopsies!
Remember when endermites were just purple silverfish? i do now!
the smile makes it everything
Tumblr media
Also the sand falling into the mite pit just means that Cassie can escape AND I ACTUALLY REMEMBER THE VERY END OF SEASON 2 WHERE I THINK IF YOU STAY IN TOWN SHE SENDS YOU OMINOUS MAIL LMAO
nvm the sand is gone now
Tumblr media
A. Winslow doesnt deserve endermite damnation B. nobody is a master of a cat C. you dont deserve an animal companion if you call yourself a "Master"
Tumblr media
MINECRAFT SALMON WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???!
Tumblr media
"Advent~ure~" Ivor you silly silly man

TOP 10 NOSTALGIC PINOY COUNTRYSIDE ACTIVITIES
Boring, rigid adulthood is looming upon the lives of Filipino teens as graduation is steadily creeping on the school calendar. Playing tag across the verdant rice fields and climbing ant-infested mango trees are no more for thoughts about college and more responsibilities are now at the forefront of their minds.
The feeling of reminiscing the times when life was simpler, is the reason why The Red String is here to share our list of Top 10 Nostalgic Pinoy Countryside Activities.
TOP 10
PLAYING TAG IN THE RICE PADDIES
Tumblr media
Trying to run as fast as you can while making sure you won't fall down the rice field truly is a thrill that is unforgettable. Even when your luck turns sour you end up caked in mud, the laughter of your friends ringing around you will surely lift your spirits up again
TOP 9
1-ON-1 BASKETBALL SESSIONS
Tumblr media
Shooting 3s on a rickety basketball ring with your friends is a certified Pinoy classic. The sound of a well-loved (read: worn down) basketball being dribbled and the shuffle of flipflops on the sidewalk is something Filipino teens can easily relate to.
TOP 8
CLIMBING TREES WHILE SHARING GOSSIP
Tumblr media
No neighbor is safe as soon as someone starts to share the latest gossip they have of their neighborhood. While group of friends are either hanging at their favorite tree or are sitting on one of its branches, the gossip mill is guaranteed to turn and teenagers have a lot to say about it.
TOP 7
Tumblr media
SHENANIGANS IN THE WATERS
Those who grew up near fish ponds know how much of a comedy gold mine it is. Deviously waiting for friends to step on the soft part of the banks and get stuck on the mud seems to be a favorite past time among these people.
TOP 6
TAKING SCENIC WALKS
Tumblr media
Walks seem boring at first glance, but it cannot be further from the truth. There are many interesting things along the path, and once the group finds something interesting to dissect and laugh at, the giggles are sure to carry throughout the whole walk.
TOP 5
HANGING OUT AT THE BEACH
Tumblr media
The beach is a place of relaxation and fun activities. Picking up random shells along the shore and disturbing random crabs creeping under rocks will escalate into splash fights and eventually, a deep dive into the ocean's salty waters.
TOP 4
HIDE AND SEEK!
Tumblr media
A universally loved game. As soon as that "Tagu-taguan, maliwanag ang buwan," is heard, it's now man-for-themselves.
TOP 3
KARAOKE SESSIONS
Tumblr media
Earning the place of Top 3, karaoke sessions are enjoyed by every age group. Once again, the combination of a karaoke machine and a mic to belt notes on establishes itself as a tried-and-true favorite past time of Filipinos.
TOP 2
ROAD TRIPS! ROAD TRIPS! ROAD TRIPS!
Tumblr media
Now in Top 2 are road trips. The revving of motorcycles and the wind blowing on your face are beautiful sensations, enhanced by the small talks and laughs shared within friends along the road.
TOP 1
END-OF-THE-DAY TALKS
Tumblr media
And of course, the most nostalgic one of all - the conversations had at the end of the day. When the activities start to mellow out as the sun sets on the horizon, when exhaustion starts to seep in - it is when magic happens. Reflections, confessions, a few more jokes - all trying to prolong the day and keep the magical moment from ending.
And that's the end our list! Thank you so much for reading!! For updates and any inquiries, please get in touch with the writer and the models in their social media platforms linked below:

18. Touched by a Gabriel with Ashley Ward
Plot summary:
Gabriel and God have a conversation about how Gabriel misses the way God used to be in the old testament. God allows Gabriel to go to earth for two weeks to stir some shit up on the condition that he leaves God alone. He agrees and goes to visit Brittany, the angel of accounting. He invites her to join him on earth to drink peach and mango margaritas and she says yes enthusiastically. On earth, a guy named Trevor in Cabo's peach margarita turns into a mango margarita. He and his friend Dirk are enraged but then Trevor has his first kiss with a waitress named Kelsey. Brittany is nervous about going back to earth because last time she was on earth she found herself stuck in Jack Nicely's Famous Ice Cream's chilly box! She ate all the ice cream and to pay off her tab Jack Nicely's son wants Brittany to work for them. It works shockingly well and Brittany attracts school marms, bank tellers, assassins, boys and girls, and eventually everyone in the town. She ruined the town and the minds of everyone in it and so she's really apprehensive about going back. She and Gabriel press the wrong button to get to earth and end up in hell. Gabriel is thrilled to be back since he used to hang out in hell but Brittany is terrified. They meet a demon who wants to join them to earth. They press the wrong button again and end up in purgatory where all the food is fruit salad made of just melon. They leave and Brittany and Gabriel have relationship issues. They share a peach mango margarita and bond. Satan and God forget each other's birthdays and argue about ice cream. It's revealed that Brittany wasn't at fault for that town losing their minds over ice cream, it was Satan's fault. God validates Satan's parking. Gabriel goes to earth and someone accuses him of being the father of their child which is physically impossible because as is very well known, angels can't fuck. Brittany and Gabriel fall in love and Gabriel teaches humans that they have to be good to each other and drink margaritas.
Best quotes:
• "You'll be able to make it rain on a wedding day, isn't that ironic!"
"I mean it's not, that's not irony"
"I know what irony is, I'm God!"
"That's just unfortunate."
"Someone explaining something to god is ironic"
"That is true"
"Haha I told you I understood"
• "It's one of the benefits of working at Señor Frogs, I get to kiss cute drunk boys"
"Hah she said I was drunk!"
Best songs:
• Trevor 4ever
• Jack Nicely's Famous Ice Cream
• Put on our Wings (On Arm at a Time)
Thoughts Overall:
Ashley Ward is an incredible singer jesus christ. Also Jess (as God) references Alanis Morissette and that's great. This episode is also the return of Jess playing douchey men but in like a cute and endearing way. This is one of my new favorite episodes
