--There had been another kill, the exact same as the last one yet there were no clues. Dexter wasn't angry because they couldn't find the killer. No, the harder the chase, the better the kill. What frustrated him was the fact that there was no communication happening here. Not between the killer and the cops. No message. Nothing.

His thoughts were interrupted when Deb barged into his room, as always vulgar with her constant cursing and nearly shouting. Dexter had grown accustomed to her ways, he never once complained, never found it irritating at all - and this may just be because he was different. A monster himself.

"We're going to the bar, let's go." He'd much rather sit in his room and think over the bodies that were piling up and no serial killer on Dexter's radar.

"There's a serial killer out there, you really think it's good to be out drinking?" This was just Dexter's way of wanting to remain at home, but Deb just pulled on his arm, and he knew there was no arguing.

So fast forward twenty minutes and Dexter had parked right across from the bar. He could already tell the impending headache he'll have just from his own thoughts and frustration mixed with alcohol and the noise here. He entered the bar with his sister practically pulling him in the rest of the way.

Just at a table ahead, Dexter was greeted with a couple of the boys from work and Deb's friend, that initially became his own friend - if he could call him that. "Let me guess, you were sucked into coming out too?" he asked Shardik- which was just his way of trying to start a conversation.

Again, Dexter would rather be at home. His dark passenger was growing stronger each day the killer slipped from his fingers.

Titan Takedown: Preps high-level base stats for the cast, with everyone having a 20 in their two most relevant ability scores and no one really having a genuine dump stat (no one's character has below a 14/+2 modifier in any ability), which allows the players to play to their class strengths and not have to worry about fucking up as much in a shorter, tighter campaign.

how have you not been invited to a comedy central roast? actually- i take that back. they don't usually let people who are actually funny perform.

not interested in becoming a teacher - i'll be too busy in the nfl for that, thank god (no offense), but i like the way you think. foghorn could work. but my biceps are usually enough of a warning. maybe i should start utilizing them more.

The tomfoolery becomes almost tolerable once you accept that most around here are counting down their last few years of feeling special. This place is a ticking timebomb of unrealized mediocrity and monetary donations disguised as talent, and if any of them had a sense of shame, it dissolved into the ether the second their uncle's neighbor's. second cousin cast them in a community theatre production of Spamalot. I suggest you either become a teacher and start threatening their grades or invest in a good foghorn. They're the only effective ways I've found of tampering down on the nonsense.
