satoru is surprisingly quiet as he waits for suguru to pierce his ear and follow his instructions. admittedly, he's trying to cool his nerves a bit. thanks to his infinity, anything piercing his skin is actually incredibly rare for him. he can't even remember the last time he got a papercut. he's not weak by any means, obviously, it's just... it's an uncomfortable position for him to be put in. as he said before, though, he trusts suguru. there's no one he trusts more than his best friend. 

his back straightens up when he feels the swab on his earlobe. he glances over at suguru and nods, already bracing for the worst. suguru's calming voice and presence actually does a lot to calm him down. he's a bit shocked by how much of a sway his best friend seems to have over his mood and decisions. that's just their level of closeness, he supposes. 

❝ i'm ready. and remember... i will punch you if it hurts way too much, suguru! ❞ he threatens him, nibbling on his lower lip as he feels the needle graze his ear. he's wondering a bit how suguru even became versed in something like piercings. he knew suguru had a few. did he do those himself? crazy.   

« Y- Yeah... » Suguru says. He does think a piercing would look nice on him, but the sudden change of opinion takes him by surprise. He was expecting to fight him a little bit more about it, so he's glad to have managed to convince him so easily. He can't deny his soft smile makes him feel a small flutter in his stomach, and he tries to push it down by sighing.

The threat makes him roll his eyes — albeit amusedly — as he gets his utensils out.

He puts on a pair of disposable latex gloves, and squints at Satoru at the request to warn him. Of course he will, but why does he have to make everything weird ?

He takes a piece of cotton out, soaks it in alcohol, and next he's leaning in and cleaning Satoru's earlobe, rubbing it gently between his pointer and thumb.

« Okay. I'll count to three, and on three you breathe in deep. You ready ? »

i actually think unit!susan triad is awesome and hilarious in a vacuum. "Im only one years old" made me alugh aloud in a positive way. But when shes like the fourth obstensible Unit Tech Genius in every scene. an then shes the one who gets to hold one Plot Affecting Stick they all have ot share at the expenses of shirley and rose its like. what are we even doing here....
