Hmm, out of shape. Also, I thought I was still in the mezzo soprano range, and didn't realize D6 was disqualifyingly low.

#vocal range#singing#anyway i'd rather work on tessitura than absolute range#yes i can hit d6 but you don't want to hear above a5 right now and frankly i'm more comfy staying d5 and below#(yes further indications of alto but again - out of shape; i can get comfy with c6 after a couple days of practice)#(... and i've never hit higher than e6 and that was maybe once)#(look i had a lot invested in being a soprano okay)#(not because i wasn't jealous of the altos getting more variety but bc no one else wanted to even try the highest notes)#(c'mon girls a5 is not that hard)
