Sorry to not correcting the shadow banning thing earlier, I was busy (though the comment below that ask already addresses some of it)
Shadow banning doesn't exist on Tumblr! There have been some situations though where I and others have tags that are at the end of our posts are not registered by the Tumblr system minutes or even hours after a post goes up. To combat this, you put the most important tags at the front (the characters), fandoms in the middle, and personal (eg: #eclipsesincarnation art)/unimportant/big tags at the back (by the last two, I mean putting tags like 'my art' or 'aesthetic' or 'Youtube' last, these have mountains of content on them added every minute so having them first vs other more specialised, fandom focused tags doesn't benefit you much in terms of traction)
But, Tumblr is a social media site at the end of the day and boosts you better if you do post often, so if you have a backlog of art, posting every day is the best way to show this to the algorithm but since art is, y'know, time consuming, it's almost always better to space out posts more than a day apart even if you do have a backlog
ahh thank you so much!! super helpful to know :DDD
