Ghost out here once again making a song that I associate with Jekyll and Hyde.

This song has such strong Jekyll vibes to me. And then there's the song I associate with Hyde:

Huh, the thumbnails for each video even have similar colour schemes. That's a neat coincidence. (Animatic ideas under cut)

I really wish I felt confident enough to try animation, because it'd be so cool to make Nowhere To Hyde animatics for these videos. Scapegoat would come first, the song focusing on Hyde's struggle with his identity as nothing but Jekyll's shadow, and his descent into rage at not getting to be his own individual. Hyde learns to accept that he and Jekyll are one and the same, but it's too late, as he and Jekyll are now at each other's throats. At the very least, Hyde chooses to reveal the truth to Utterson, via a dramatic drink of the transformation potion...

Pathological Façade demonstrates Jekyll's perspective, showcasing how frequently he fakes a smile and hides his true feelings. But most of all, this animatic would focus on Jekyll's repression, which in Nowhere To Hyde, includes the good doctor repressing his own memories to further separate himself from Hyde. There would be many drawings of Jekyll covering his eyes to ignore the bad deeds Hyde is committing, only for later drawings to show the good doctor as the man committing those bad acts. The climax of the animatic involves Jekyll yelling and shouting at Hyde, only for the doctor to open his eyes and see that he was just yelling at himself in the mirror. There is no Hyde, there is only Jekyll: a man who wishes so badly that he was someone else; that he has someone else who understands him in a way no-one else can; that he has someone to blame for all of his pain that isn't himself.
