    Oh Force. Jyn doesn’t even bother trying to hide her deadpan stare. She had heard there was somebody who was SORT OF a doctor in the town, who was staying close by -- and she didn’t want to have to make a fuss about the cut on her finger ( even if it was from a rusty nail ). Nevertheless, she would really rather not have to remove any limbs due to an untreated infection.

    It’s the man’s rather FAMILIAR face that makes her stare. And Jyn says nothing at all.

    “...A rusty nail cut my finger,” she says in a flat monotone. Her stare is becoming outright RUDE now -- and still. She doesn’t care.

    “It needs...fixed.”

    Jyn can’t hold it in any longer -- she’s been staring at the woman for far too long, not so far off from her own age. She’s overheard her voice in conversation -- and something about it is achingly familiar. Something whispered, overheard among Imperial officers in Jyn’s past life...she’s somebody IMPORTANT.

    And it’s been nagging at the back of Jyn’s head like an itch that won’t scratch.

    “I’m sorry -- “ she begins, stopping short in her tracks with a purse of her lips. “But I KNOW you. I know of you -- we -- “ We come from the same place.

    That, or Jyn is simply going crazy.

    “...I don’t know many people here. Just one, really -- but I feel like I know you.”

    Jyn pauses, suddenly feeling foolish. “Do I?”
